incompetent Igbo man and a competent Hausa man did got me cracking.
Hausa you ruled this country for 39+years what have you achieved.
do you think collecting billions in the name backward state an achievement?
please do choose your word correctly.

its on record the people who put Nigeria in the mess of underdevelopment, recession etc are IBB buhari and they are not igbos but hausas.

please next time don't compare both sides based on competent.
All done. I've modified my post. Competent igbo man, an incompetent Hausa man. Thanks for the correction.
And I am not Hausa.

The list you provided justifies my point. It's not ignorance Oga Henry. You call re-eactivating two Bell Helicopters, maintaining C-130 aircraft, upgrading one UAV as part of the NAF question program? All the items listed can be sorted out with $500,000. I a, talking about the NIGERIAN AIR FORCEZ flying trainer aircrafts, a hand full of mediocre aircraft, zero interest in modernization en mass, zero intetest in air defense..all this despite a decade of war. C'mon is this the best Africa's wealthiest country and 5th biggest defense spender can do? Compare all the initiatives by the Air Force this year, compare that with the likes of our peers in economic power. Pulling a cotton ribbon ceremony for these projects is laughable. You realise this is 2018 not 1984. Thirty five years ago the nation could field a squadron of frontline high performance jets. Look at the Egyptian and South African Air Force. Neither of these countries have close to the resources available to this country. If its hard currency only Algeria beats us in Foreign Reserves. If its natural resources We are not in the same league. You realize this is Africa's first trillion dollar economy and the with 19th largest economy on earth with the 10th largest proven oil reserve whose value hovers around $4 trillion. Heck Lagos alone has Africa's 5th largest economy. You call me ignorant? We should all bow our head in shame rather than celebrate this mediocrcy.

Any word on the JF-17? negotiations and payment and renegotiation and part payment and an extra $1 billion in ars have been going on since 2014? Any idea when or if the THREE JF-17 will be delivered within the decade?
You can also add largest deposit of natural gas, large deposits of gold, nickel, iron ore, coal, uranium, farming land and a very large population to exploit these resources. Are we done? Good, then let's talk economics.
It surprises me how some like to throw figures about without knowing the basics of economics. Nigeria's GDP is in trillions only in naira, in dollars? 300plus. Do you even know what GDP is? It doesn't mean sh*t. What we need is increase in government revenue, stop all our revenue leakages things along that line. And while you might be correct about natural resources (because it's debatable between Nigeria, Congo (yes DR Congo) and South Africa) debatable because the exact value of Nigeria's and Congo's resources are unknown because of..... unreliable data from both countries. so what? You go to site, chant abracadabra then viola! All the golds, the crude oil, the natural gas starts to pop out? All these things are primary products (things that have to be extracted) it took total 3 billion dollars to build and oversized ship and container to extract oil from egina field. GDP doesn't equate to hard currency. And comparing Nigeria to those countries? Nigeria's population is almost double the next in line, Ethiopia. Show me a country that has up to 200mil population, 250 ethnic groups and about five hundred Languages doing better than Nigeria, not in military terms but general societal issues because when you can't fix your societal issues, you can do nothing. And don't mention US because most of them are immigrants so they don't have that sense of entitlement like Niger Deltans and the rest. And don't mention India,
China (Brazil?) because they are not as diversified as Nigeria. I am not making excuses because things like corruption, nepotism, and sheer incompetence also plays a major role, but these things will not matter if an igbo man does not have to choose between a competent ignoring man or an incompetent Hausa man. More money was lost in the US than nigeria between 911 and 2008 crisis. They didn't get noticed until after, you know why, because US has a very very very laaarge economy, grow the economy, get investments and we can buy all the F22 and s400 we need. Unless that is done, we can all shout about our resources thy kingdom come. Lastly, Which will you prefer? A personnel with all the basic amenities or one with all the hardware in the world but but worries about things like accommodation, feeding etc. I like what the CAS is doing, build from scratch. This might sound boring to most but I am not a military kind of guy, I roll the econs.
Foreign AffairsRe: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by Ibrahimanees: 11:59am On Sep 01, 2018
The question is "How many countries are capable of that?". When people talk about US military they always forget something important. The US economy. When you have a GDP of 18trillion, spending about 700billion on military is easy. When the said military contribute about 2trillion to your economy yearly, well it's easy and f$cking convenient. Look at it this way US manufacturing sector contributes 2.2trillion dollars to its GDP but about 90% of it goes to military related equipments (which is why US still imports machineries and electronics from Japan and China despite its advancement in technology) and only about 40-50billion worth are exported yearly, the rest goes to the US military which is paid for from the said billions. It is a perfect cycle (dod spend hundreds of billions, military complex pumps out trillions) albeit a risky one because the moment DOD stops spending, manufacturing sector goes down which in turn affects the rest of the economy. So yes US can afford it but what of the other countries, not UK or France or even Russia can do that despite all of them having trillion dollar economy and military complex worth billions. China maybe.

Remind me again how much Nigerian military contributes to our economy last year? grin

SARS is an highly specially unit with the same function as the SWAT.

Thanks to NPF who have now mandated SARS to dress and act as they are supposed too. I guess its the management fault initially. Now they have get it right.

The misguided words of some online Newyokers does not matter grin
Over and out!
SWAT AND SARS have nothing in similar. SARS is an anti robbery unit while SWAT are heavily armed and well trained police regular cops call when in need of more firepower. They are more akin to the police special force than SARS.

To those writing headlines like this, they really have some work to do
Saying BH attacked and kill 9 soldiers is akin to saying Nigeria just got her butt whopped by BHT
Part of warfare is psychological, and this is a bad headline to have, so no BHT died? If they did, begin with that, end with the death of soldiers later, not just make it sound like it was a one way thing, headlines like this gives people the impression that the enemy is better
It's all about politics and incompetence. For the sake of your sanity I suggest premium times and Daily trust. They don't care who is PDP or APC, they criticize, rip and shred everybody. From the presidency to the military to the Senate. And their headlines are quiet moderate.

You're asking questions that have already been answered in the video. Secondly, air force capability goes beyond fighter jet and trainer aircraft and for no reason will South Africa increase Gripens and Hawks when they can't even put the little they have into use. Funding and skilled manpower is the big issue here.

If fund is available, South Africa will be looking into other areas like maritime patrol, aerial surveillance, Unmanned aircraft (both armed and unarmed), AH, etc.

Nigerian air force on the other hand would have added over 70 brand new aircrafts with recent technology before that date.
12 super tucano
12 mi35M
20 UAV from UAE
JF17 thunder (unknown amount but likely 12)
4 aerial patrol
2 maritime patrol aircraft
News on mig 29/35 fighter (according to minister of defence)
Some new LUH
Also expecting mi17 unknown numbers.
etc.

Several home grown technology are also coming up.
You are missing the point. What I am trying to say is that anything can happen in 2years time.

This doesn't make sense. You can just project something like this. If Nigerian Air Force is growing (which it is) : at what rate relative to saaf? What if saaf increases defence spending next year and decides to order 20 more gripen and have all the current ones upgraded to the latest version, or order more hawks, the current service Chiefs have exhausted their tenures, twice it has been extended what if PMB is defeated in next year's election and the next CAS is nothing but a bumbling fool, what if Senate decides to half our budget, then what? What if what if what if.......

Besides there is an ongoing argument about NAF Vs SAAF and when you run about making videos like this, you are undermining our efforts. Not cool bro, not cool at all. grin grin grin

U should stop visiting social media , they r so confusing, like there already is enough confusion so why add to the confusion to get more confused and if confusion was not enough , one gets confused about why the heck they r getting confused , is there any sense about getting confused as to why we r getting confused and then wondering what the confusion is all about, in this already damn confused world and add to it the darned confused social media with all the confused users posting confusing things and getting more confused and confusing things which r already confused. isn't it too much confusion wahala ?

Therefor I get u bro on the confusion thing. wink

And if I were Bruce almighty I would have cleared shiit all over the world. But then 90 % of the world population will have to be cleared grin

And nobody can be confused if there is nothing to be confused.

and for weapons procurement citizens have no role to play , only the military makes the call and they don't subscribe to social media for recommendations or do they ? grin

Only exception is Switzerland where citizens play a role.

And a sensible citizen will stick with the decision of their Military.

And I am taking that ur not a vampire grin
I am sooooo confusing confused right now

He said more expensive means more sophisticated which is a shallow thinking from Henry, he went further and said "that is the problem across the board in ur country" (i.e Nigeria)

The problem is when your opinion is completely false and you peddle it as fact, and then when people correct you(in a respectful manner i might add) you respond with this: See your shallow thinking -- expensive to you mean more modern and sophisticated, sry for u, that thinking (which actually is the problem across the board in ur country)
