Yes, you can choose not to be recaptured,the first captured pics in the systenm will be used.

The disadvantage of it is that you will not have a temporary licence to drive with(its the form you download and its payment duly confirmed and signed by VIO that you will use to drive with,pending the printing of the plastic drivers licence from the print-farm).

Easy,fill the renewal form online @ www.nigeriadriverslicence.org, choose the closest center to you,make sure you fill option of capture if you want to be RE-CAPTURED and pay the required fee to the bank.
Take the form to the center for verification,testing and capture.

The standard procedure everywhere there is a construction ongoing is to have an illuminated safety sign warning motorist of the construction and probably the impending dangers ahead.
But here in nigeria,it not the norm.
In saner climes the driver/families of the accident victims would sue the construction companies and make them pay heavily for it.

Well,it seems people are more concerned about the 'grammer' of the said lawyer than having sympathy for the lost souls.
Two,from the accident pictures,we can deduce that the accident happend at a sharp corner/bend(unbroken white line dividing the road).
Conclusively,drivers needs to be educated more on patience when driving(no overtaking at corner/bends).(***may God grant the dead aljanat firdaus***and the bereaved the fortitude to bear the loss***)

Yes its true
1.Companies are commercial under the law.
2.Company vehicle are meant to normally have red(commercial)plate numbers,but due to some 'factors',people in charge of company registration always prefer to register 'blue'(private).so as to evade some documents.
But the moment vehicle are branded,it brings no confusion any longer that such is company A or B.
3.Thus,they are required to have an hackney permit.

I have a Toyota Corolla which was registered in the name of the company I used to work with because it was bought on loan. I have not done the change of ownership after I completed the payment since 7 years ago but all the papers are up to date.

The issue now is that I want to give the car out to my brother in law who lives in Ondo State. Does he really need to do a change of ownership? If he has to do that, can the car be registered with an Ondo state plate number? Also, if it is not necessary to do a change of ownership, is a road worthiness certificate important since he is not using the car in Lagos?

Doing or getting a change of ownership on the vehicle is a matter of choice for you considering the numbers of years you have used the vehicle.
Also,roadworthiness cartificate applies to all categories of vehicle in any state in nigeria,therefore since the vehicle would now be used in akure,you can easily apply for roadworthiness certificate in any VIO office in akure closer to you there.

Driving test is compulsory for all fresh applicants and they are to be tested by VIO after passing through the driving school.
You may wish to confirm if 'many people' you said have original drivers licence.

Before you condemn a country try to research well,before a drivers licence can be issued to you as a fresh applicant, you must have passed through the mandatory driving test and certified ok.

Depending on the driving school you enrolled with,the price range is 10 to 15k for the driving school,afterwards you will pay 6.5k to the bank for drivers licence

when you say its not reflected online you mean you have checked it on federal road safety site and is not found?
Right,the problem is probably from the motor vehicle licensing agency or the federal road safety,they have failed to update the information on the database that is why it is bringing up such (We saw that the plate number has been assigned to the vehicle but it has not reflected online).

the best and the most reliable database for checking of vehicle documentation is the courtvilles application.
