timilehin007:Good morning sir, LASDRI is important for anybody that take driving as a source of livelihood in Lagos State but does not replaces the drivers licence sir. Since the vehicle would be used as under, pls let the driver go get lasdri sir |
Ntaidogido:Are the roadworthiness you want to renew of six(6) month validity or a year validity? If it's six month validity and the proof of ownership are yet to expire, you do not have to pay for it again sir(assuming the expiry date is up to 5/6 months) |
Salientsinmi:If your vehicle is for private use, below are the documents you will be needing 1. Vehicle licence 2. roadworthiness 3. insurance 4. Drivers licence 5. Proof of ownership |
USFOCUS:As a uber driver, you will need to have 1. Vehicle licence 2. Hackney permit 3. Roadworthiness 4. Insurance 5. Drivers licence 6. Lasdri card |
Herapal:Yes if you have a driving school certificate, you can populate it online on www.nigeriadriverslicencr.org,apply for your drivers licence and make payment for it yourself online sir. You will get the temporary drivers licence after you have been captured on the same day sir |
Wright000:Good evening sir, Is the vehicle in question a tokunbo or you did a change of ownership for it? Since you have complained to the officer that did it,I would advise you exercise caution and not drive it till the issue is resolved(for your own peace of mind). |
Dy4l:Good evening sir, You can always go back to the VIS office for a reprint at no fee sir |
Ernesthugo:Its ok |
Ernesthugo:American english / british english.... You can go online to check if its correct. Thanks |
MZEE01:Apologies for my late reply sir/ma. I am not saying there couldn't be a typo on vehicle chassis number but, In most cases where you have a mistyped on the chassis number reflecting on your documents(vehicle licence, roadworthiness etc) its mostly deliberate and not a typo. It's what we refer to chassis/vin doctoring. (1)Most unscrupulous agents instead of paying the correct fee and getting you the right document...they go ahead to circumvent the process by deliberately doctoring the chassis number for registration or change of ownership (2) Also most unscrupulous custom licenced agent to usually do doctor chassis number so as to evade paying for custom duties on imported vehicle(i.e they bring in like 3 vehicle of same make and model, instead of paying for the custom duties of each of the vehicle, they go ahead and doctor the chassis number on the 2 of the vehicle to be the same as the third, pay for one duty fee and use that to clear out the two other vehicles. The problem would now come on those that bought the vehicle. That was why lagos state VIO set up the autovin/forensic department to see to such related issues. You will need to go to the licensing office to check if your original chassis number is free before anything else sir |
Margaret1010:The reason why most plate brings out oppss when you want to do change of ownership is (1) because the former owner have already done existing on the same numberplate before you go for the change of ownership of the car. Or If the former owner instead of doing an existing went ahead to re-register the vehicle in another state that operates on autoreg. The problem will be fixed at alausa but it usually takes time because of administrative process. |
JustOutstanding:Why did you do your document separately sir? Was it because of the roadworthiness inspection in lagos state? Cos most times you give your document to people to renew and they tell you they renew part in lagos, and some other in another state... Be careful, you might have fakes embedded among(especially for private vehicles) You might need to take the document to the nearest vio office for verification sir. |
Ernesthugo:To get a new one, (1) you will need to visit the nearest drivers licence center for the renewal of your licence Or (2) You log in to www.nigeriadriverslicence.org (I)Click on renewal (Ii)Input the data asked (drivers licence number and date of birth). (III) You can change the address if need be (IV) Choose the numbers of year you want to renew for(3 or 5 years) (V) Choose the state/center you would like to be captured/pick up your licence when ready (VI) Choose if you would want to be recaptured or you want to want to opt for a bypass (VII)Pay the required fee, print out the form and take the center you choose for VIO test,endorsement/capturing Get captured and take your temporary immediately. |
timilehin007:The procedure to replace a faded numberplate is that 1. Provide a copy of the vehicle licence 2. A copy of the POC(proof of ownership certificate ) Wait for 2 days(officially, but can take longer) for it new plate to be printed. Then you go with the faded numberplate to pick up the newly printed numberplate |
CruzJoe:Good day sir, The proof of ownership is only obtainable when you want to renew your roadworthines certificate only sir.(not when you want to renew Vehicle licence, Hackney permit or vehicle Insurance) It costs #1,200,And it is renewable yearly sir. Maybe you need to exercise patience and see what he will bring for you sir. |
mickee2u:Good evening sir, 1. Since you have the valid referral note for the inspection already with you, the camera cannot fine you again for an expired roadworthiness certificate. but you must make sure that you go for inspection before the expiry date on the referral note. 2. Private vehicle roadworthiness validity is for 12 months (one year). maybe you went for the inspection a month after the issuance of the referral note. (roadworthiness validity counts from the date of the issuance of the referral note) I hope I have been able to answer your questions sir. |
Sirchiboy:Since Delta state is not on autoreg platform like most states are,if you renew there and come back to Lagos.... (1) It will not show on the state database that you have renewed (2) if you want to renew for subsequent year in Lagos, you might need to go to courtville headquarters in Yaba with the renewal you did at Delta state, otherwise you will pay for arrears. (3)Lagos state camera might fine your vehicle for the same vehicle license and you might need to go to the office with the delta state vehicle licence to show that you have renewed in Delta state or contest the bill online with it. This stress you might not want...... That's why you can renew it yourself online anywhere you are in the world 🌎,on the website I gave earlier sir |
Hefty007:Erased from VIO database? Why would you want your vehicle detail to be erased from the database sir. |
Sirchiboy:Good evening sir, To renew your vehicle license from anywhere is now seamless sir. You can easily log on to https://Portal.autoreg.ng/licence.aspx, create an account there and renew your vehicle licence and make payment with your credit card(after renewal, print the soft copy and attach to your document....you can always get the original copy from any autoreg agent as soon as you get back Lagos) I hope this solves the renewal issue sir. |
Guy since you said you take mathematics, further math etc. You need no one to enslave you. You can start organizing lesson to student that needs to take jamb,GCE and WAEC. I believe with that, you can set up something you can call yours and be free. NB. My personal friend does that and he is living fine. |
DominusPrime:I disagree with what you have said up there, My mum is diabetic and has been managing it for a long while. she somehow hit her toe on something which later resulted in an open wound. The wound started expanding and there was nothing we did not do but it keeps getting bigger and wider. We later went to isolo general Hospital and we were directed to go for some test to check if the leg has gangrene or not,or if there is any blood flow to the said leg. After conducting the test at Mushin for like 80something thousand naira,we took the result back to the hospital. The doctor we met on duty later told us that the leg would need to be amputated,if we need her alive. My siblings all objected to amputation and took her back home, then we got a nurse that comes to clean the wound daily and also treat her(regulating her blood sugar level daily)...... And some herbal treatment like putting mashed pawpaw close to the wound daily to stop the bleeding. To the glory of God,the wound has finally healed and she can now use her legs to walk. (Although it not easy, but it's achievable). Till date she is still managing the diabetes. |
Temporary vehicle Tag (TVT) Temporary vehicle Tag serves as a form of identification for your tokunbo vehicle until you decide to get numberplate (registration) as required by law Don't just drive your vehicle without Numberplate,it's risky, try to obtain the TVT...... To avoid being on the wrong side of the law |
DozieNwanma:God bless us all 🙏..... |

Dbkk:Same number 4,well I was the guy on blue native wear. What time were you captured? |
My DIY timeline at the ALAUSA passport office (RENEWAL) Appointment request date: 16/1/2023 Booked capturing date/time: 2/3/2023 9:00 am Actual capturing time: 11:52 am the behind story. I got all information I needed to apply here in nairaland, I did as instructed and made the payment online. (the total money I paid was #25,300). on the appointment date, I went with all the required documents which are 1. 2 passport photo (any background) 2. original and a photocopy of my NIN slip 3. expired international passport 4. evidence of payment 5. renewal application letter (handwritten) 6. photocopy of the data page of the passport (front and back) I got to alausa around 7;20 am on my appointment date and I met two queues outside the office, one left, the other right. those on the left queue are those that had agent processing for them(they are to check their names and file number on the board outside and proceed inside immediately) The right queue is for DIY,(note: we had like just fifteen persons on the DIY queue). They made sure they finished attending to all the people on the left queue(AGENT AIDED). before attending to we DIY'ers.(we no get choice) an immigration officer came to attend to us on the queue around 9.35 am,she checked our document and directed those that have complete documents to get a file and go inside the premises.we all went uptairs to hustle for where to sit(cos the whole place is already jam-packed). another immigration officer came to give us number upstair and picked the first five DIY'ers to go downstairs with our files ( I was lucky to be number four). my file was checked and I was instructed to go print out the payment receipt(the computer lady outside that did that for me collected three hundred naira). after the printout has been added, my file was treated and I was directed to take it to room 12, another officer went through my file, signed some parts and gave it back to me to return it to the previous official that handled it. the file was then collected back from us all and we were asked to go back upstairs to go and wait for our names to be called(that was when the waiting game began). after waiting for like two hours without any show, I decided to stroll out cos I was very hungry, luckily for me, I met an old acquaintance, who now happens to be an immigration officer serving there, I explained my predicament to her, that I have been there for more than four hours. she was the one that helped me fast-track the whole process and I was captured and left the centre at about 12:20 pm Note: if you are a DIY'ers, pls go with a brown file (unless you want to buy just one for #500 there) after making payment, print out your payment receipt on https://passport.immigration.gov.ng/ |
