Travel agents save you some stress of searching and searching and they communicate all the rules of the ticket to you. Also help with date change and when any issues arises, sometimes you call and call the airline without any response when its not the official hours, but a reliable Travel agent should be reachable anytime.

You should consider using one.

Cheers

Quick question.

Good day all,

Please whats your experience with booking flights with a travel agent versus booking directly through the airline? As per cost, ease of changing flight dates, general help and support etc.

I want to go through a travel agent but mu husband is trying to book directly through the airline company.

Thanks

Yes you can apply for visa, someone here stated using hotel reservation and got the visa. You just need to show strong financial, family and economic ties

You just need to book for 17 days, and you can explain in your cover letter that the first ten days will be for the quarantine and the remaining 7 days for the trip

No specific hotel for the quarantine.

You can pay the visa fees using a dollar card, some people said virtual cards as well, you can read up on it.

All the best.

Jbaby09:
Good day ..

Please is it advisable to renew visit visa amidst the pandemic?

Do I have to show the 10 days quarantine in hotel booking ?

So meaning if I plan to stay 7days, I’d have to book for 17days ??

Also are there specific hotels for quarantine?

Also how do we pay visa fees as per the limit on MasterCard NAIRA

Thanks Fam

Congratulations

Did you apply on medical grounds for the birth?

What other countries have you visited?

Thanx

Congrats Mama!

I got my visa approved today too.

It’s my first time traveling to the US. I declared my purpose was to have my baby and I will also be declaring at the POE.

I am actually going to Houston too. Can I private message you especially about Oakbend please?

Thanks!

Yes it is worth it, more leg room

Delta is the best to travel with when pregnant, no fit to fly, no unnecessary procedures/documents like other airlines.

Pls who has travelled pregnant with Delta before? what was the esperience like? is their premium economy worth it

No BA is not a good option for now, as they wont take people with visit visa

Ethiopia, Qatar and Delta are the best options for now.

Debbieeeeeee:

I’m not pregnant yet I’m still trying. I wasn’t asked either.
Try BA they’re flying or Lufthansa

Congratulations

Debbieeeeeee:
I renewed my visa this morning and was granted.
I was asked how much I earn, why I didn’t travel on my last visa, what my husband does, where I’m going to in the USA, how much I earn monthly and if I have any children. That was all (2-3 minutes).
Good luck to everyone traveling. I noticed some preggies, one was issued she’s quite big so wasn’t so noticeable and the other wasn’t given. The atmosphere wasn’t as tense as 2019 renewal. All the best to everyone looking to renew.

Good morning,

Been trying to search for the thread for Aussie visit visa but havent found anything yet.

Planning to apply for visit visa towards the end of the year or next year

Want to know what is required and the process ahead.

Would appreciate any pointers.

Thank you.

Go through the link, it may help you but you should have used a more appropriate word for the person you quoted because the technical stop is not possible presently as the border have been closed for 1year. The only people that are allow into the country are citizens, PR holders, those with travel exemptions and pilot program organised by states and they must be in quarantine for 14days. So getting a transit visa for just 72hours presently is near impossible as you won't be allow to stay in the country for such period, and also the country only welcomes approved airlines at a given time with provision for quarantine for those on board.

Honestly your situation is a bit dicey, Mass communication is not on the Skilled assessment list and getting a visa to study graduate certificate or diploma course from naija is a bit hard, and also no Uni will offer you post graduate degree with HND. Maybe you should look towards another country.

Sorry for the attacks, its funny how people just generalize without accepting that situations are different.

Please dont regret sharing your POE experience, I actually felt bad I shared my transcript and subsequent responses because of the way I was attacked.

Let me try to answer the questions

1) She can attach screenshot of conversations on DM or Whatsapp showing where the customer made requests etc, because it will show the date on them, she can then use a pen highlighter on the statement on the particular deposits for the business, with the chats to back up the transaction and an explanation

2) Its best to use two months disposable salary, not full salary, but the salary left after deducting monthly expenses

3) Best she uses invitation at this time, since she has access to it, it will also reduce cost of the travel

P.S: If she cant properly address no 1, its best to just wait for another 5 months before applying, whilst ensuring no other funds enter the account apart from her monthly salary.

All the best

Hello house trying to assist.a friend in her visiting visa.

1. She earns 300k in her permanent job every month. And she has a small poutry and fish pond, where she sells eggs, point and kill, the business is not registered, just running, stones she gets 300k, 200k etc from her customer. The customer pays her in her personal account. It is just her 2nd source of income, pls house how can she explain it to the ECO, how other credit entries from her small business enters her account.

2. For the traveling expenses is it only two months salary she will dispose?

3. I also learnt that UK has eased their lock down, she wants to travel around July , can she put she wants to visit tourist attractions?

Finally, kindly advice if she should go through invitation and stay in her cousin house or she book hostel? We are also trying to save cost . Kindly advise dear house. Many thanks for your kind response.

Hi Guys.
It is sooo refrshing to be back on here. Havent been here since 2018 when I had my last baby. How are things? I can imagine a lot has changedddd. Ok so i wanna ask, back then, the popular hospitals in Richmond Texas was Oakbend and HNWMC. Has this changed? Are Texas hospitals still being flagged for low prices? Do people still have to look for hospitals that are really pricey to avoid accusations of defrauding Americans of their hard earned money in taxes? what is new guys? from recent posts I can see that people are not disclosing their pregnancies anymore but rather going vis the visit route. All this wasnt the case during my time. My sis is 6 months preggy and has a visa interview end of this month so needs as much information as possible. Kindly help a sister out. She will be staying in Richmond Texas

Thank you

Well I am not going to give birth, but since you got the visa before getting pregnant, you are good to go.

Its best you declare it at POE so its recorded, dont know about LAX though, its Chicago POE I know is crazy and should be avoided

Like someone rightly mentioned earlier, the issue is with DOS and not DHS

All the best

Enigma2021:
congratulations @ibukunpops.

I would like to know if you would be disclosing your pregnancy at the POE or stick to your visit/birthday celebration reason?

I'm also planning on traveling to US via lax airport this April, although I'm just 24 weeks pregnant, I don't know if to disclose my child birth or just stick to visit and vacation.

P.S I got my B1/B2 visa in London for a conference in New York but couldn't travel because of lockdown and restrictions. Now I want to use it for vacation and childbirth

VISA ALERT

So I had my appointment on Tuesday and it was successful, visa picked up today

Questions asked by VO
where are you going to
why are you travelling
when was the last time you travelled to the US
how long did you stay for
why did you travel
what do you do
how much do you earn
what countries have you travelled to
how many times have you travelled to the US
what does your husband do
you have children, how many
where are the children right now

Brief history
birthed my son in 2015, birthed my daughter in 2018
I was very scared because of all the stories of people not been able to renew their visa because of child birth, went with both receipts and document, and not one was asked for.

Alot of people where denied, noticed only two approvals before mine, families denied, couple, elderly woman etc, it was a very tensed atmosphere.
Noticed a preggy but she was denied.
Someone going for training in August was approved but he was told to send a mail towards the end of May so he can drop off his passport at DHL as it was too early now

A big thank you to this forum for all the info,

No I dont think so, from what he said, it seems they just send everybody there.

Its the reason for his trip (writing the exam) that made his stay at the secondary short.

megastu:
You were triggered for a secondary interview because your visa is expiring this month.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Need clarification on the 28 days for financial requirement

is the 18,600pounds from the sponsor meant to be in the account for 28 days before the statement is printed out?

Or it is the gross annual icome of the sponsor that should show on the employment letter?

Would appreciate your response.

Thank you

Its best you ask the agent for the refusal letter so you are sure of what happened exactly.

UK always state the reason(s) for visa refusal.

Please I need assistance the experienced ones here.i applied for a UK visa using an agent who charged me one million hundred thousand naira, which I paid six hundred thousand as part payment but I was denied and the agent refunded me five hundred thousand naira instead.i don't know what he did or what he submitted but he called and said I was denied..i believe I am not banned because nothing was written on my passport..?

So now I want to apply for American visiting visa myself..i have been dating a black American that wants me over there now..he sent me an invitation but it didn't go through because he didn't include his passport number so he went to apply for his passport but they told him they are far behind and it will take sometime for him to get his passport which might take more than four months..he intends to use fiancee visa to bring me over or come here,we get married and he goes back to file for me but he said 8months to 1year is too much for him to wait after marriage..so now he asked me to try visiting visa and see how it goes, if it works fine but if it doesn't then he would have to take off from work and come down..
Please I need good advice from the experienced ones here as I don't know what to do or how to start..thanks
