Nice one. And one mofo was comparing almighty ABU with UNILORIN in terms of structures few days ago. We have 3 universities in naija, they are OAU, UI and ABU. Others are glorified secondary schools. If not for bokoharam and some extremist, i would have loved to enrol for my Ph.D programme overthere.
Boko Haram exists only in the North East where University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) is. Though not like it used to be before. As for ABU, Boko Haram is unheard of in the geo-political zone it is situated.

Who said Yobe lecturer can't be in UI or Unilag? I don't know of UNN never been there. Aside how many lecturers are there from Yobe a state with 5/100 pass mark for unity schools where IMO, Ekiti etc are above 80, so how many lecturers will be able to come out of there that will lecture in UNN or whatever down south?

Anyway to start with your points one after the other:
1. At your Kongo campus MBA program are there lecturers with three quarter trousers or not?
You'll never know because you've never been a student there. Most Southerners who go there get astounded at how knowledgeable the northern lecturers. This is because they stay down south ignorantly thinking nothing good can come out from the north. And why won't there be lecturers with three quarter in Kongo Campus when ABU is the only Nigerian university that houses the most diverse students and staff from all walks of life?

Don't mind him. Just talking trash. We have two big chapels right in the heart of the main campus. Nobody disturbs us when fellowshiping. He is just ignorant.
Not just two big chapels. ABU has the biggest chapel you can find in any Nigerian universityy. It is located in Samaru Campus.

Very useless school run by imams, lecturers with three quarter trousers. Nothing seems to work in the north. If you are a Christian you watch your back in Zaria in general, there are areas you enter that's your end. A southerner with over 300 jamb score has less chances of admission than a yobe applicant with 150.
Oga Prophet, quit lying. Which area in Zaria can Christians not go to? ABU has the best mixture of lecturers of all federal varsities in Nigeria. You can't find a Yobe lecturer teaching at UNN. In ABU You'll find a Delta lecturer and others from southern states. You're just sad and frustrated and want to paint the school black. No Yobe applicant with 150 can be admitted. Southerners with 300 may not make it because they aren't part of the catchment area and there are more people from their state who scored more than 300. ABU attend to those people above 300 first.

Christian students are endangered species there. Zaria town is boring and uninteresting. The heat from the sun is something else.
All false. In fact you should visit UNIMAID someday and have a taste of Maiduguri sun.

FamilyRe: HELP! My Brother Is Too Dull by iceboy4752(m): 12:49pm On May 30, 2020
Humanoid01:
I have no idea what this is, but the part where you said he doesn't know the difference between 17 and 71 got me thinking about dyslexia or dyscalculia. From your narrative, the greater part of his problem points towards arithmetics, so it's more likely to be dyscalculia. It's also possible to have more than one learning disability, so chances are he's suffering from both.

People with learning disabilities are not necessarily dull (or unintelligent), it's just that the parts of their brains that are responsible for the performance of generally easy tasks which are difficult to them, are in a state of disorder. I'm a slow learner, but I don't consider myself dull, and that's because I believe every individual needs specific conditions to enable them learn effectively.

That boy may be even more intelligent than all of you. He needs to visit a psychologist or learning specialist who understands what it means to have an LD. Stop wasting money on lesson teachers.

I got the following from a website and it fits with some of the descriptions you made:
Dyscalculia

A specific learning disability that affects a person’s ability to
understand numbers and learn math facts. Individuals with
this type of LD may also have poor comprehension of math
symbols, may struggle with memorizing and organizing
numbers, have difficulty telling time, or have trouble with
counting. https://ldaamerica.org/types-of-learning-disabilities/
I dread this reply man. This is what we need to be seeing under the comment section of posts, not stupid comments from some idiots.

PoliticsRe: Time For Nigerians To Start Questioning People's Source Of Wealth by iceboy4752(m):
Nonsense!
You should start by questioning the likes of E-Money and Hushpupi who you praise on social media. It's necessary some of you know that not all billionaires or millionaires in the north are politicians. Some are entrepreneurs who worked hard while you were busy commenting "this puna go sweet oh" on a celebrity's nude photo on Nairaland.

His speech always have a way of inciting division, ill feelings and hatred.

PropertiesRe: Please Help. My Apartment Is Being Haunted By A Ghost. by iceboy4752(m): 10:25pm On May 23, 2020
Cloud699999:
Good morning Nairalander,

It all started Last week When a neighbor next to my apartment died without nobody noticing for 2 days until she started smelling. We didn't actually suspect that it was from her room until someone came looking for her because she wasn't answering her phone, which was still ringing inside and the door was locked from the inside that was how we knew she was dead, already swollen because the last time we saw was Sunday night and we didn't know untill Tuesday that she was dead.

All this happened last week. Later that Tueday family and friends with police came to evacuate her corpse. No foul play or any struggle seems she died in her sleep. She was young and a very playful lady and lively. She is 36 years old single mother and she lives.

So the haunting started 2 days later. The First one happened around 2am, My girlfriend said she saw someone looking like standing by the door outside just staring straight at her, there was no light and the window was open, so when she pointed torch light she saw nothing but when she switch the torch light, she saw the shadow of the same person. That really scared shit out of me because she later told me in the morning.

The second was last night. Someone was banging seriously on the toilet window because it's an iron window. The banging continue for almost 3hours. It was double banging as if someone was knocking hard. I doubt it was someone when I try I check I couldn't find anyone there, few minute later the banging continue till around 4.30am when mosque call out for prayer. And I could here some here some sound like someone walking in the next room where she died, no one was home. Her sister refuse to sleep in the room so it was locked.

Please help, how can I get rid of this unwanted disturbances. I don't know what to do. This last night scare me to the bone. The funniest thing. No one heard this banging except me. The other neighbors have different theory.

Anyone experience this kind of thing before? How did you handle it?
Did the situation get any better?

TalkTalkhdmedia:
A teenage mother has taken to Twitter to share her joy and happiness after she defiled all odds to bag a degree in the university.

According to Lilly World, she got pregnant at a very early age of 14, and after that many people thought she wouldn’t be able to fulfill her dream of becoming a graduate.

However, four years later, despite all the negativity and criticisms, the young mother is joyful as she just got awarded her certificate.

Although Lilly did not disclose the profession she ventured into in her tweet, she truly encouraged her fans to believe in themselves, shun all negativities and push forward.

Okay, now imagine it's a girl from northern Nigeria. That's how some would have dragged her religion into this and insult northerners in general.
