BusinessRe: How To Open A Business Name In CAC With N12,000 In Just 2 Weeks Without A Lawyer by iceboy4752(m): 1:39pm On Nov 03, 2020
[quote author=DeConsultant post=94973510]Please my business name registration was queried. Reason was that I need to delete details on the attestation paper. I signed on the Attestation of Director or Secretary of the company, and even on the Attestation. Though it's just the one on the left hand side I signed. Where did I go wrong?

PoliticsRe: #EndSARS Campaign: Buhari Appeals For Calm, Promises Reform by iceboy4752(m): 8:42am On Oct 10, 2020
GOATandYAMtheory:
I only pity the innocent ones joining this protest cos they found others doing it. As we know, Nigeria is a country where many do things because they want to be part of a trend.

So many are on this forum praising the protesters and even encouraging people to kill SARS while they themselves are at home hiding.

Of all the things bedeviling this country, why should #endsars be of high priority if not that some professional fraudsters are behind this?

Because of these professional fraudsters, many of the opportunities to be enjoyed by some of us who wants to earn legitimate income online have been lost. You want to apply for a job online and you find out that you can't do this just because you are Nigerian. If you have had this experience before and you are joining the yahoo boys and armed robbers to call for SARS to be eradicated, you need a brain check.

Tell me what is working in the world and I will mention it's flaws to you. The fact that some SARS officers misbehave does not mean you call for the eradication of SARS. it beats logic. if you mean business, you should be calling for a complete overhaul or reform. undecided

Mention me all you can, I will only grin @ it. This is a forum where you will see Nigerian youth defend corrupt politicians and yahoo boys openly.. so I won't be surprised when these set of people mention me to defend what they believe in.
May sense never escape you. Well said.

Dominique, I am very sure that as a moderator, you are well aware that someone calling someone a fool on nairaland is against the ethics and rules of nairaland.

In this light, kindly mete punishment to this user iceboy4752 who decided to use derogatory words.

If people cannot pass civilized comments without allowing their emotions cloud their sense of reasoning, I wonder what would become of a forum like this. I will be highly disappointed if nothing is done about this.

Thank you.
Dear Dominique, I'm sure the said dingbang is also aware that is is against the ethics of Nairaland to insult people's religious views. His comment "why are Muslim wives like this" amounts to an incitement contrary to rule 9 of this forum. It can loosely be interpreted to mean Muslim wives are the ones perpetrating all manners of evil of such nature. This therefore is an insult to the women of the Islamic Faith and to the image of the Faith.

RomanceRe: I Approached A Lady Today And I Was Disappointed In Myself. by iceboy4752(m): 3:51am On Oct 05, 2020
Jannuxajj:
I am an introvert that is into programming and I work for companies from home. I became tired of all the gold diggers I was attracting because I discovered they are only looking for sponsors so for the first time I made up my mind to start approaching.

I saw a young lady walking towards me so I decided to start with her. I greeted her and immediately she answered I didn't know what to say next thing I said was are you coming from the gym and she said no and looked at me somehow only for me to stammer and then ask for her name she just ignored me and was pressing her phone.

It bad to be sitting indoors everyday I swear loneliness dey kill me.
First Rule!
Never approach a lady because you think you should. Approach her because your heart or instinct feels you should approach her. If you're able to do this alone, things to say will be flowing naturally.

I haven't. I even differed my admission because of some financial issues. I have made a thorough research on it and my findings reveal that it is actually legit.

FamilyRe: Nigerian Man With 4 Wives, 32 Children (video) by iceboy4752(m): 2:36pm On Aug 01, 2020
The man appears to be doing well. If he is catering for them all properly, that's commendable. However, if the children are destitute of proper care, he deserves to be jailed to prevent him from bringing more children to bear the wounds of poverty.

So how do you identify someone that is not a Muslim, is it by facial look or hijabs?
The average Muslim lady doesn't dress like that. Adding more fuel to the truism of the issue is the fact that a prayer mat is spotted inside her supposed car.

"Flowers in the Attic" by V C Andrews

One of those voluminous books that looked forbidden to a 13 year old me.

I was shocked that I could understand this "Adult" book.

Took me 7 months to complete and my life was forever changed.

Had to hunt for the sequels:
Petals in the Wind, and
Seeds of Yesterday.

My love for bestsellers and fiction was ignited.

So bad that I would read novels while preparing for exams.
What's this Flowers in The Attic about? A novel or a non-fiction work?

I just started reading the 48 Laws of Power too. Being a born-again Christian doesn't necessarily mean you can't be inspired by other books.

Let me start first.
Mine is named The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do In Life And Business. It's a book by an American reporter, Charles Duhigg. Prior to reading that book, I used to have some bad habits that keep re-occuring, sometimes unconsciously. The book helped me identified and change some of my "keystone habits" which were the fountain from which other habits emerged.
So folks, what is that great book that shaped your life or that made you realise something important?
The essence of this thread is help one another by sharing different books. Someone on this forum may desperately need to read one or some of the books you'll share to make a great difference in their life.

The most painful thing is that her faced has been marked. Even if she uploads pictures in the future, they'll remember her as the I-bought-this-car-myself lady.
