justi4jesu: |
justi4jesu:Yea, she's a feminist, has a strong voice & can speak out. I believe she'll make a change if she's given the chance. But tbh, I don't see her getting anythang! Never knew she was from Odukpani. |
djeezy: So true. Nice thread for those caught up in the friendzone. It's not friendzone until you love/like the girl and want her for yourself. Basically for me, no girl can friendzone me.Ha! Hot shot. |
mcshol: here's my number feel free to contact. 090999510674Couldn't connect u on whatsapp with the number recheck? :/ |
And the aim of this post again is to...? See, things like this mislead our youths, now everybody thinks they can be musicians. Not everybody would make it through the fast track! The number of touts is increasing, I fear for the next generation |
iamaromolaeran: ....Repeating an old verse in a radio freestyle is OKAY! I mean, its like a break from the norm in an emcee-code. I know a host of rappers who does that, seen that slaughterhouse session it was cool. Kendrick probably rendered a full verse off his 'Westside Right On Time' tho I've heard him do the same verse before. Buh, that's just that... When its like a challenge, its pure intellect; off the dome kinda shxt goes down. Nas ll still keep the flow, the rhythm, the poetry, while goin all hardcore & spitting rhymes lame people ll never understand. Big L had the outstanding metaphors, I can't forget... "I wasn't even POOR, I was 'PO', couldn't afford the 'OR'! Jigga is the man, he never even lets you know when the punchline is coming till it hits you! Eminem is good, yea but that's just as the white boy could go. We're all humans, he got flaws too.. I've watched him in a battle where he found himself mumbling, then coverd it like.. "What did I just say? Shxt I don't even know!" RAKIM? The GODMC couldn't say it better. |
don't diss me with my own line, that's just pathetic now I see what the guys re saying. Smfh...y'all should Steer clear from him o! Cos if u oppose him your mom will only get insulted. I'm done replyin niqqas who talk like they ate from the toilet. Let's see how far hating ll take you... Matter' fact; you'll die a wet firecracker, aint nobody gonn hear your toneless screams. Bye dude, HMU when you get an endorsement deal for being a badass on NL. |
coogar: you are a fool!I was thinking of this, but now you've proven the point. Your asss is a waste; your mother shouldve just left it at a BJ the night she conceived you. It would be better off if she swallowed the nuts that formed you. That 198's gonn be your plight, you aint never gonn understand it, cos ur brain is somethang less than a cypher. And its sure gonn haunt you. Smh, you didn't even take up the only challenge I put up for you? You're too lame you couldn't even see it, go back to school boy you left your whole life behind. Better yet let the slut who put you to bed take you back & give you some manners. |
I've really had enough of this Coogar guy!! You're on NL forming badass. ''Nigeria's No1 netcee' smh, where they use that at bro?who's spoken to this dude before? Like tf? He could be stuttering his entire life, and deceiving you guys here is the only wayy he could escape his pathetic life. He's looking for an apology letter from whoever tf made him the way he is. Sorry bro, but rap has never been just about written words. Aint nobody give a shxt about the lines you write, if u think you're better than the worst rapper Nigeria has ever seen; give us a hit. And FYI;; I could best you anytime, anyday!! |
mikuz: You are a fraud. The most horrible netcee in NL. Your puns are as bad as most Nigerian roads. I pity these gullible kids who still respect you. See how you keep exposing yourself? So this your own is not weak? Mugu, you re a sstupid rretarded ccocksucker.Stop stressing bro, you probably speak too much good english you could get his head spinning. Let him wallow in ignorance, & probably make a meal tomorrow by copying lines from other forums just to gain respect on NL. |
coogar: youngdanaval, these punches are weak na."INTELLECT MYOPIA!!" The problem you got right now is that you can't even decipher that code, there's a meaning in that line & you wouldn't understand it till you get aged & deceased. Show some respect, & let somebody put you through it. Stop hating what you don't understand. Thanks! |
coogar: it all looks like what mikuz would write after getting high on paraga. 90% are wack & recycled from rappers of yore. The only rhyme u rememberd to beef, is something I added from a song he still sampled Biggie Smallz's song. U really sound like you could do a lot from hating, let's see you bring something up... Smh,, u guys never learn. Methought u'd call yourself or bring some verses you wrote, not calling some femcees nobody know. FYI; your M.I pays homage to MODO as the 'greatest lyricst ever in Africa' so good luck hating on him, He's Your Role Model's Role Model! |
morbid: u got mean cracked up! Buh u sound too intelligent for a weed smoker;seems u've given up weed??Smh... Bruhh, u don't just 'give up' weed. Lol, that stuff boosts IQ. You have no idea how it feels maaan! Try a blunt sometime! ![]() |
Well, if you didn't take physics classes... You might need help understanding some of them.. ![]() |
There was a trend on Twitter recently about who the Hip-Hop king in Nigeria is, it got me really mad when I saw people calling artistes like IcePrince, Phenom, Olamide, Phyno... Smh, it made me feel most Nigerians are still laid back in terms of understanding & appreciating Hip-Hop Music. I don't think trends like that should ever exist until the greatest lyricist to ever hold the mic down here dies, I'm talking about the one and only Babatunde Olusegun a.k.a ModeNine or Modo as he styles it! Here are some of his bars I could still recall, total punchlines, hard core.. Pure knock off!! You thought he was joking when he said "One line of mine, could match your entire album"? Let's see... *I bang beats for money; Commercial sextape. *MODE is a MEAN emcee, y'all are coMEDIANs. *Cowards in the industry need organ donors; no liver. *My stomach has a bad sense of humour; I don't joke with it. *This baba, that baba, u got intellect myopia, so when I-diss-a-baba (Adisababa) its not Ethiopia. *I'll be 'right-back' like Gary Neville. *i'm like a brand-new foot mat, I never felt the feet (defeat). *Put my hand in your chest, pull out your vital parts step to your man, palm outstretched, tell him to take heart. *i had your girl and she felt like a cigarette without filter; no butts. *you rap for mechanics, I rap and you panic, leave you married to prince damn it, I'm too nice *My clock is on the ceiling, guess my time is UP! *u luking like u hardly see food/ while am sitting wif bosses we eating sea food/ *All my enemies in a Honda; hating in one Accord. *I'm so underground, the devil is like: who's down there? *you can't rap, that's why your pen shuns paper, quit rap, here's your pension paper! *When i wanna leave, peeps be beggin me to continue, cos i move d crowd like a sudden change of Venue! *You can't match me, go light another rapper's stove. *punchlines, metaphors, spit them til my throat bleeds, u r not God, only the most high when u smoke weed *Im so underground, crude oil leaks from my ceiling. *I know you're fly I heard u screaming mayday/ loosing a game of scrabble is the only way u wordplay. *doing this for the love of Money...so Kneel before the BILL like Monica (lewinsky) *dammnnn *My favorite number 1.9.8 do the math; I'm Number 1, Beef 9, u get 8! *atomic no. 47 I'm AG! Figure that out if able, while I b breaking bread around d periodic table. *ma foot on d pedal Beefing show promoters who always try to meddle Like floating particles in pure water we won’t settle *I've got no elastic limit, so I won't yield. *I got the 22 over 7 here take a slice (22/7 = Pie) *how you talk about plotting a coup when you couldn't plot a graph? *The joint you did with 9ice was 'Nice', cos 9ice was on it. *you got the lemon and the torch, I got the limelight. *You would be amazed when we meet, call it corn-beef. Smh... I could probably do this all day, every line is D O P E!! Please add yours... |
Mine gotta be excessive laughter & that 'supreme' feeling from weed!! ![]() |
Fulaman198: Americans (not only black) are more violent than Nigerians. Let's be honest. America is a violent country (as is Australia). All they portray in a lot of their movies is violence and a whole bunch of other stuff that you would never see in Nigerian films or West African films.Lol, that's DUMB! The reason is cos Nigerian Movie Industry is laid back! They're so lame even a slap in movies are fake. When Nigerians try to use guns in their movies, they don't even shoot it... I just be laughing, like wtf? Lol. I promise anyday Nigerian movies portray 'hot pursuit' in their movies and its worth it; imma go Nollywood 100%. You talk of violence, what do u call the voodoos Nigerians show in movies? Black Magic? Lol... Negro gimme a break! |
Nebeuwa: I was recently arguing with a Nigerian friend of mine, concerning this topic. She believes that African Americans do not have a culture and that it is only a subset of the wider American culture. The problem is the ones at home, like 100% in the motherland judge us by what they see on tv. Yes, stuffs like that exists, but we got hella cultures too; but crazy, worthy & unworthy ones. They're all culture, c'mon... Lol, weed is black, booze, tattoos(we took that over), our music, plus some crazy bum sh*ts too lol. But to be serious our pattern of speaking, music, before you argue tho... Try attending a black wedding. Thanksgiving, that's somethang we observe too, Black Friday gotta be my fav tho. Lol, I could go on for long... But hey! We got hella culture, when u look into it tho its 99% what's done down home. The way black parents whoop their kids... Mahnn, that's BLACK CULTURE!!! |
stam101: The year 2014 has seen the release of albums like Yung6ix 6ix O’ Clock, Ajebutter22 Anytime Soon, Phyno No Guts No Glory, Sean Tizzle The Journey, Triple MG The Evolution, FalzTheBahdGuy Wazup Guy, 2face Idibia The Ascension, Asa Bed Of Stone and most recently, Cool DJ Jimmy Jatt’s The Industry Volume 1. Oh! Dammy Krane The Enterkraner too (lest I forget).I had Asa, MI2, CEO I think Banky's W Experience should make the list too... Let's not forget Eedris' "Jaga Jaga" everybody had it! B-) |
berrylyn26: hot ot nah?Its obvious she had a surgery or something... She came back super hot!!! Frfr |
OduntanGabriel: This is a counter thread to what was written by a fellow nairalander.Take this topic to "trash" forum! Wtf?! You must be in babcock or somethang. Sorry my dear, your problem is being born into wealth. You don't understand Nigeria, and probably never would! |
Emmafrancis: Who got 3gig ?LOL, NIGERIANS!! |
She's like the best for me! Got a crush.. Funny! |
marveangel: My immediate younger sister and I are very close...like super close.....I'm about 6 years older than her but we're pals....we talk about almost everything...We have other siblings~ elder ones but we not as close to them as we are to ourselves...She's the last and only female child in the house. On friday, out of the blue she just dropped it on me that she is in love.....I was still raking my head thinking of how to advice her to take the whole love thing one step at a time.....I didn't know she was about to drop another bomb.... last night after saying our night prayers she came into my room grinning....I asked whatz up...she sat on the edge of my bed and said 'I said Yes'......I was like yes to what....she smiled again even laughing....'I said yes to the guy that has being asking me out'. I felt strange!!!.........I just smiled and said cool....big girl. But this morning I woke up and am afraid for her..... Could she really be in loveI get whole story, just invite the boy over & get to know him. I swear he wouldn't try anything funny on her, knowing your like the 'mentor' of the relationship. Don't scare the guy tho, you gets all corny with other people's sisters too! ![]() |
Real hilarious man!! Sometimes I wish I could revisit my childhood, be a guest and actually watch the younger me do all them crazy thang!!! *I never really liked wearing my shirt, they either hung from my shoulder or was stylishly folded around my neck & head. *I'd hang out with some group of hard-headed boys like myself. It was like a gang, we go around committing little neighbourhood crimes; broke people's glass windows, took off the bulb in people's bicycle to construct our own lights, lol. Riding spoiled bicycles down a hill was our hobby; nobody cared how dangerous it was. *I preferred throwing stones at unripe mangos, to eating cooked food at home. *Hunted and killed lizards just for fun! Lol *Never got home directly from school, I'd hang around & mob the neighbourhood with my 'gang', committing all sorts of little crimes. *Played football in the beside people's windows, and there's this wicked 'auntie' in every neighbourhood that like seizing balls, and I can't forget how hilarious we sounded everytime we try to beg for our ball. Sometimes when we don't get it back; we throw stones & cursed at her. *Whoever lived in a storey-building 'had money' *We would peep through neighbours' windows to watch films. We always got chased away, but we wouldn't go away. They most times results to measures like pouring water, sand, saliva on us just to drive us away. *Cashew nuts, rubber bands had the same value as cocaine. *Sitting boy-girl-boy-girl in school was the biggest punishment!... Oh lawwd I could go on forever!! All the 'isi-okpukpu' boys can relate, lol. 90sbabies re d best generation!! I miss my childhood, I really do!! ![]() |
Longer hospital stays increase the risk of some nasty infections Each day spent hospitalized increases the risk of infection from drug-resistant bacteria, researchers say. In a new study presented at the 54th Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy, researchers looked at 949 cases of infection from a drug-resistant bug called Gram-negative bacteria between 1998 and 2011. The data showed that each day spent in a hospital increased the likelihood of a drug-resistant infection by an additional 1%. Gram-negative bacteria infections are known to be a problem in acute health care, and can cause infections like pneumonia, bloodstream infections, surgical site infections and meningitis. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Gram-negative bacteria are resistant to multiple drugs and are becoming increasingly resistant to antibiotics. Overuse of certain drugs and antibiotics have allowed bugs to learn from them and mutate so that the drugs become less effective in treating disease. The CDC says at least 2 million people are infected with antibiotic-resistant bacteria and 23,000 people die from their infections. Source: Time Magazine. |
Lol, I need a female cook in UNIPORT then... Anyone interested?? |
Rapmoney: You talked about real hiphop. Yes! So how many peeps will buy if one does real hiphop you talked about without involving trashy words? The shallow minds of most listeners won't allow them to buy it. Someone should please, tell me what Erriga is singing? That's about it. Erriga is like the only name that comes to mind when you talk of the 'Nigerian Hip-hop' the way he uses the pidgin and yoruba is a total knock-off! He still got fans bro, the thang is... Lot of people aint gonn digg your music, but at the end of the day you're still doing somethang you love. I'm like a hiphop head, and I think you don't have to go all hardcore if u need Nigeria to patronize you; remember the female folk is the target. Talk about people doing hiphop in Nigeria imma stick with mode9, a lot of people don't even know or understand sh!t he does, but he still does it... Man its for the love of it, it gets to the people who know its value. Remember some really talented artistes put a bit of that 'Nigerian-music' flavour to hiphop; thereby gettin to almost everybody out there people like Vector,Sinzu, Ruggedman... |
Rapmoney: I used 'hip hop' because I didn't want to use 'music'. Music consists of both native/cultural, gospel, etc. There are lots of naija cultural songs I can kill for; they cut across many Nigerian languages. When it comes to gospel, there are songs and artistes I admire. I can play the likes of Frank Edwards, Chris Morgan, Boniface Adefu, Sinach, etc all dayAltered caption, you the wrong audience reading the trend. When I saw 'Hiphop' I thought it was like real hiphop in Nigeria... Better yet, stick to what it should be; you're writing about 'Nigerian Music', I really think that gotta be a different genre. |
shymexx: Nah, I never cripped nor stayed cripping - not from that culture though there is a cripset affiliated to the yanks' crips in my neck of the woods. But as a younger, I was super-black and I played with that black bandana, reppin' the bits.Yeah, i get it... like yougin. was caught up in the life once tho, got affiliated with GD n shit, frfr my bro rolled with the blood.. where u used to live? |
How am I sure dis is nt anoda sharp guy putting things in her head....How could she be certain its love...she's just 19......what should I do guyz..I am sincerely concerned for my sister...how do I help her avoid a heartbreak.
