I'm not a tribalist but can anybody relate this with some happennings in Nigeria. If Mr. Ayoade is a nairalander he would have called the girl a chest beater. That's a serious enough reason to attack her. And if the girl is strong enough to defend herself then she lacks respect for elders, and her whole tribe too. The unfortunate thing for Ayoade's likes is that their victims are far too stronger than this innocent girl.

Good try, now there is no insult in your reply. To answer your question. Kanu is to Igbo what Gani Adams is to Yoruba. Uwazuruike too is to Igbo what Fasehun is to Yoruba. You can deduce whatever you like from this. But be fair and realise that no Igbo has ever insulted you because of views held by these men.

This stupid write up tells a lot about your belief in one Nigeria. But let's face facts. Yorubas don't travel but few who travel refuse to return home. They forget entirely where they are coming from. I have two handy examples here. Go to Northern Kaduna most of the noisy guys there who claim Hausa are indeed Yoruba kids who never visited South West since they were born 40 years ago. Also come to around Okwe Street in Old Market road Onitsha, 98 percent of the agboros there claiming Onitsha indigenes are Yorubas. The Igbo understand what I am saying very well. A typical Onitsha indigene doesn't do agbero work. They leave it for other Igbo group. However, when you see an indigene of Onitsha doing agbero work, do not be deceived by the fact that he speaks Igbo better than you, he is a Yoruba. He has not visited South West in 50 years. If your region is so good why do these refuse to return home. The Hausa, the Igbo regularly return home. Why is your case different.

No single Seasterner there again. We are watching.

Are you equating all those people you listed with Shekau? No my brother or sister you are wrong. Those were rulers of nations, fighting with recognised authority of their people. Those wars were not waged in the name of any religion, but Shekau's terrorist act is in the name of Islam. Those wars you mentioned were stopped and neutralised by Christians, but almost all Muslims harbour an internal support for Shekau. Finally Shekau's reason for killing is irrational, whereas in these other cases there rational reasons for war.
