uuzba: As a business owner how do you handle this task. You have managed to finally get a contract. Now your phone is ringing left right and center. WhatsApp and emails left and right. You are a typical Nigerian. You have 2 or more phones. When driving your car, the phones never stop. All the calls are important. All relate to different aspects of the project. You realise that you van easily have an accident driving and answering WhatsApp. - Do you take public transport? No. You don't want to discuss confidential info in public. Do you use Uber? No your designation might change on the fly. Uber has to go one way. You need to hire a car for a whole day. But you already have a car. You close eye and hire a driver. But this guy is asking for xyz salary. Do you pay? How good is he? He may bash your car and run. He is going to overhear all your discussions when he's driving you about. Your car has problems, tire, radiator, Keke hit ibe side. Vehicle license.... Do you leave the key with this guy driver to fix? Messages are piling up on your WhatsApp, emails. You have not responded. Food? You have been eating properly. ... .. Starting a business in Nigeria is not easy. It is easy to condemn the boss when you are not one. You have no idea what is passing through his mind.
Most of us know how to SPEND money very well. But zero knowledge about how to EARN money. A bosses duty is to EARN the money. He must spend as little as possible otherwise, it isn't a business. But w major LOSS. Are you saying dat there are not bosses dat treat their workers well in Nigeria? |

dairykidd: Op i can totally relate.. My former boss was even worse of because the contract he got at the airport was running into hundreds of millions but he would still underpay staffs, fûck female staffs, sack / suspend u indefinitely at the slightest chance. He finally got at me when one stupid female staff he was fûcking told him i was into ticket racketeering which i don't even concern myself with.. In reality the lower staffs under my supervision mostly Egbira(kogi) ganged up with this girl because according to them i too wicked & i dey carry the work for head. I was on my off day when my friend the manager called me to tell me i had been suspended indefinitely.. Wow & i was even down with fever that period. Just like that i spent weeks at home but i never relied totally on my salary so i had other things doing which even gave me more time for myself & money too. So after about 6weeks i was called back. I came back first day & the junior staffs involved were faking sympathy & bs but i wasn't even concerned i played along... After the first week i wasn't even feeling the job anymore & this îdîot boss was just sacking & replacing staffs both high & low.. Funny enough he wasn't really based in Abuja though he had a house & a wife he just married.. Mind u he has another wife & this recent wife used to be the secretary at the office. The work just seemed stûpid as anyone can have his number & call him to fault u for things as flimsy as trying to dicipline the staffs or correct them because those Egbirra people na them plenty pass for airport & them stubborn die. I just stopped coming to work to face my own stuff cos i have seen what this does to people.. Before u know time done go & u never achieve jack working for an ungrateful punk.. He called me on phone & i literally told him to shove it. It disn't take long & all the senior staffs in the admin including the manager were all sacked for no good reasons.. Working under such people is like living in hell with no way out.. I am better now doing my thing & equipping/ upgrading myself for the future... Those guys are dream killers i swear. My brother fear Idoma, Kogi and Plateau pple |

You speak as though you know, yet you have not said anything that implies your spirit is of truth or forgiveness. Let's argue scriptures. What spirits permits you to argue scriptures first. Humility, love, forgiveNess or compassion. Do you even poses the right spirit.
Chris started with his accusers "he who is without sin let him cast the first stone" that will be you and the son.
Moreover you are concluding base on one side truth. The dead man is not here to testify for himself.

[quote author=Adakintroy post=71150914]We know the part were we do not provoke the children unto wrath. Just as we were thought the part to honor the father. I do not retain bible verses in my head. I retain the words themselve in spirit. However as regard this topic, I am a child myself and probaby the same age as the guy talking or as you.
By logic I should be taking side with the law that support my age grades. That is parent should not provoke the child to anger. But then again I too will become an adult someday and I will make mistakes. Maybe then my children will curse me not knowing what gave rise to my state of mind.
Who knows the fist rations his father went through himself. All the pains he tries to suppress and make sense of life. If you have ever heard of confession of drunks or prostitutes or gamblers. You will pity them not hate them.

Adakintroy: I can counter you with all the bible verse and you still won't agree. Bible verse is just one Google click away this days. It doesn't prove anything friend. People can be Christian with intellect and not so in spirit. Mores their are people who just argue to win. Am sensing you fall in that category. so sorry.
If you can't see the truth in what I wrote at least then I take it with you its all about winning.
You win! Yea... I WIN! There is no truth without a bible back up abi re you nt a bible student again? When you tell a child not to disobey its parents, tell d parent to not also provoke d child to wrath! (I like how you re intentionally avoiding dis part) Stop quoting d bible passages to favour you! 2Tim 2:15. Rightly divide d word of truth! |

Adakintroy: What do you mean by am quoting the scripture upside down. A child cannot be greater than the father. Honor thy father first. That will bless his heart and lead him to true humility. He will then have the right knowledge to understand that he is capable of that mistake his father made. Some people are binding generational curse as we speak. But they on their part may have gone to spiritualist masquerading as churches. Their children will come and judge them too. Many of them are blind to the truth. Just as the father's were blind to this truth.
In love we judge knowing we are capable of the same mistake.
Aside no elder will allow you to insult your father that way. They will rebuke first. after you are quite will they proceed. All I see from your write up is philosophy. Until you counter me wif bible, I'ld Tek it dat you knw d 2rut bt dnt want to accept it. |

rexx07: Thanks to nature, each gender has its roles, *A man is loved for the value he provides, (ask the girls running after made men). That's why, the more successful you are as a man, the more pussy you have access to. And in the case of a woman, the more successful you are, the lesser the number of dicks that can access you simply because every womans expectation is that her man will be better than her, stronger than her. *A woman is loved for her sex appeal, (ask all the men running after girls, and ask the ugly women too, the reason why makeup and body enhancement is majorly a woman thing). And in the case of a man, you'll rarely get a pussy for being handsome due to the fact that a woman is drawn to success, whether it's handsome or not. There's nothing like equality, If there was equality, then there would be nothing like social hierarchy. Take the case of Trump and buhari, they are both president, but they do not wield the same amount of power.
In terms of inequality between the man and the woman, the fact of the matter is, men have always played dominant above women, If women were so great and equal with men it isn’t too much of a long shot to deduce they would have played a much more active part in the socio-evolutionary process, instead they reared children and kept house – they played logistics/nurturer, supporting man so he could fight to live another day.
There's power with dominance, this is what a lot of the feminists saw and want, but with all power comes great responsibility. But with feminist, they want the power without the responsibility. I gett what you re trying to say here bt I want you to know your sisters wouldn't hv bn going to sch, etc if not for feminism. I do get there re people or feminists who re taking things too far btw. |

Lost my father when I was 11, he left 2 houses and a good business which my mom took over, that really made the difference in our life . If our father didn't work hard or was marrying wives. Opposite might be the case. . If you are opportune to have a good parent, you just don't know what God has done for you. Thank you so much 4 dis. I wsh I can lyk yr post more. |

Adakintroy: Let's condemn him. Honor your father's is a spiritual commandment. It's such an important commandment that it's among the "ten". Note they are many other commandments.
No matter how bad your father's were. You have to honor them. Many of them did not go to school, they operated within the limited if their understandinh. They were tempted just like you. They did not attribute much to government or foundational curse.
Honor them! Lol... You amuse me. Didn't dat you pple's bible tell parents nt to provoke their children 2 wrath? |
