ChrisKels: Lol he sold Osas Okoro to us as the best right back since the days of Cafu. Lol d boy come rob am for his face during Chan. Since he accidentally predicted Cameroun's AFCON triumph, dude now feels he is Guardiola and Mourinho rolled in one. Na so. And the funny thing is that when ever we win he doesn't show face. Which Kain thing be this? He supports any other team asides this team. So Tay, you dare not say anything negative about that CHAN team. Now na Team B him carry for head. Mark my words if we beat Croatia he will not show his face here. It is only if we should lose that he will come and start shouting his TeamB-TeamB. |

goldfish80: We are not going to Russia to win the world cup, are we? There's life after Russia, it's not enough for Pinick to say he has teams for 2022 and 2026 world cups. I'm obviously talking about Nwakali and Azubuike for reference purposes, this Russian world cup have come and gone as far as I'm concerned. Oga, why do you always make comments like these? That's how the other time you magnified Cameroon so tey you became a Cameroonian fan at a point. So because Nwakali and Azubuike are not in this team your own World Cup has come and gone. Well, for me the World Cup party is just about to start. I have placed order for my jersey already. I have my collection of Green and White Super Eagles Survenoirs. I am placing them on my dash board like I always do during major competitions. The World Cup party takes place only once in 4 years and I would not let one or two players that were not selected spoil my fun. Roll the drums Jare...........the mundial is upon us again.... |

tbaba1234: Let us see Simy on a better pitch first.. I think, we will see more of a first team against England. Lokosa made a good account of himself but i doubt, he will be among the 23. For sake of fairness, against England, I would want us to start Ighalo as the CF and at half time depending on how the game is going we feature Simy. But if you ask me, I think this Simy looks more threatening than Ighalo. As for Lokosa, he did very well even though he was played out of position. Even if he doesn't make Russia, he has done enough to merit future invitations to the national team. Simon's injury has made the selection a bit easier for Rohr. |

I trust Nigerian fans and how they switch 180 degrees depending on the outcome of every game.
The pitch really messed the whole game up.
Pinnick and the entire NFF deserve 77 strokes of the cane each for taking our beloved team to that kind of injuries threatening pitch.
They are taking 180million Nigerians for granted. What was all that show of shame for?
You take a WC bound team to a potato farm to go and break their legs abi? And some fans are already quick to start condeming the team.
Those of us that have followed this team right from that game against Tanzania know the team very and what they can do.
One of the major positives of this game is Simy Nwankwo. That guy is so impossing and so daring. He was a major threat all night.
Let's see the boys against England. |

Mujtahida: if i recall correctly iwobi has never been deployed as a ten or AM for nigeria since Rohr came in except in this match.
against zambia he played a a rwf against algeria he played as rwf against south africa he played as a lwf against zambia he subbed simon moses as a rwf against argentina he played as a false nine coming in from the left wing against poland he played as a lwf against serbia he played as a lwf but disobediently drifted into the midfield. What of the Senegal friendly? |

ChrisKels: Joel Obi was forcing it, Agu was more calm and calculated and he didn't give away unnecessary fouls like Joel did in the first half. I agree with this. |

Mujtahida: I know it's a test game but it's very clear that the coach is aware that Iwobi can play ten and that's good enough. The coach is trying to see if the flashes against Serbia are for real. I doubt you Bro on the bolded. Did you envisage that Iwobi will play 10 today? So let's watch and see. Don't be too certain.
We should rather be talking about iwobi's performance playing from the middle. How has he been? It is like you still do not understand. If you go back earlier on this thread I am among the first that have clamoured for Iwobi being assigned a central AM role. My point is Mikel is favorite for that position, but so you cannot keep Iwobi on the bench and wait for Mikel to get tired before bringing him in when we know Iwobi is a favorite to start from the wings. |

Mujtahida: What matters is that the coach is aware. It's obvious contrary to how we were dismissed for making the point. There you have it- coach doing it the way we clamoured. He might not try it out at the WC but this game shows he's thought about it and ready to try it out This is just a test game bro. In the WC Iwobi cannot be sitting on the bench and be coming in for Mikel every second half. |
