SportsRe: Pay Me As High As Messi Or I Leave, Ronaldo Tells Madrid’s Bosses by Icon79(m):
Haha!!

First of all, the best thing that will happen to Real Madrid is to get rid of Ronaldo. At 32 years of age, he would never get back to his old form.
Secondly, Ronaldo is holding other Real Madrid players back. Morata left because of Ronaldo. And players like Benzema, Bale, Asencio, and Isco would never reach their potentials as long as Cristiano Ronaldo stay there and sucks up all the air in the locker room.

Unfortunately, no team would buy an off form 32 year old striker. Manchester United has to be crazy to buy Ronaldo at this age. The only way they would buy him is if Real Madrid let's him leave on a FREE transfer.

Stuffs like this happen every single day in America. Naija women in diaspora are some of the worst ever!

Even for those of them that went back home to bring a "well mannered" girl to marry. Once she gets over here, give her 6 months and the naija women here would corrupt her and destroy her home.

My advice to single naija men in diaspora: stay single for as long as you can. And if you have to marry, it might be better not to have kids immediately until you're quite sure of what you're bringing in. You can always kick her behind out if it's just her but once kids come in, it becomes complicated.

I give you guys a lot of credit. I definitely won't wanna live in Moscow. Lots of racism in that part of the world. You think there's racism in America, wait until you go to Russia. And moreover, Russia is just too cold for me ... way too cold!

The average winter temperature in Moscow, Russia is -7°C (15°F). *Phew* That one got me shivering already grin
And make sure you're taking your daily Vitamin D tablets as well.

Don't mind me. I agree with you, buddy. We haven't had a solid jersey for the Super Eagles since USA '94.

Omo, I don't recall ever saying that Nacho is better than Suarez. And there's no way I would say that ... Luis Suarez may be having a slump, by his very high standard, but he's a world class striker.

As concerns to Nacho vs Vardy. Yes, Nacho brings more to the table than Vardy. Vardy is all speed and nothing else. He can hardly dribble to save his life and how old is he again? 33?? 'nuff said!

O pari

Mickael2:
so Nacho is better than Vardy? Then again you were also the same guy that said that Nacho can be starting for Barca because he is better than Suarez right?

Let me say this again: Kelechi Iheanacho is even better than advertised. Manchester City shouldn't have insisted on inserting a "buy back clause" to his contract if they didn't see his quality!

As I have tried to explain to y'all soccer gurus in this forum, you CANNOT score if you DO NOT play. How many games exactly did Kelechi play for Leicester to indicate that he wasn't good enough to start? And when he did play, how many goal scoring opportunities did he miss? Take it from me, Kelechi would be amongst the top 10 strikers in the EPL if he plays a full season for any team.

And let me say this again and again also, Kelechi is too good to be on Leicester City bench. His quality is much higher than the likes of Demari Gray, Shanji Okazaki, and even Jamie Vardy.

O pari

Icon4s:
My brother, give the lad credit rather than downplaying the opposition. That is what we need from you.
I am not one those that blamed the coach or Leicester system. In fact I was of the opinion that if Iheanacho is as good as he is being portrayed here then he should be playing most games for a mid-table team like Leicester. No excuses of a system or coach.
Our general expectations on his performance at Leicester have been dashed. But after a long stay-off he comes and scores a brace in an FA Cup game .That is encouraging in my own perspective and the young man should be encouraged.
You sound like a perfectionist but I am one too but sometimes I use human face.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Icon79(m): 10:37pm On Jan 16, 2018
I HAVE GOT ONLY ONE QUESTION TO ALL YOU NAYSAYERS:

Did y'all see what Kelechi did today? Like I have said over and over and over again, you CANNOT SCORE IF YOU DON'T PLAY. Give the young man a chance and he would show you what he can do. And I will say it again: Kelechi is simply too good to stay on Leicester City bench. If you don't understand that then you don't understand football!

At this level, no team would give you time and space to develop your play. They key is to move the ball quickly and have fluidity in your game movement to disorganize your opponent. That's what we call playing with cohesion!

O pari

Truidstar:
I watched the game yesterday, the Rwandans did not give us time or space, they were always closing down on whoever had the ball. The end result was hurried passes, fluffed shots and disjointed play. I thought the Rwandans would tire out in the second half but those boys do not get tired. We missed chances aplenty. The boys will get better as the tournament Progresses.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Icon79(m): 5:29pm On Jan 16, 2018
Weather: Rwanda is hotter than Nigeria, so how could they blame the weather? So you can't argue that the cold Libyan weather affected us more than it affected the Rwandans.

Pitch: I didn't watch the game but I am pretty sure that the pitch should be at par or better than the pitches those home based players play on week in week out. So no excuses.

Hotness? Is it not a weather condition? Do the lack of access to seas and oceans contribute to the condition?

Tch, "weather temperature"(at least using your phrase) is related to environment surroundings.
