Christianity Etc › Re: Nigerian Mega-rich Pastors Living In Million Pound Homes Prey On Believers - UK by Icon79(m): 2:53pm On Jan 09, 2018 |
Listen, sowing seed works but you gotta fully understand the principles for it to work for you. Seed sowing is a biblical principle. Granted that some pastors are misusing it but that doesn't change the divine Word of God. Like I used to advise my students back in Nigeria, when I was the leader of Nigerian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFES). When it comes to trusting God on their exams, I will advise them, "study (read) as if everything depends on reading .... but once you're done studying, remember to pray as if everything depends on prayer." Yes, that's the way God works. Yes, God can create something out of nothing if he wants to do that, but most of the times he chooses not to operate that way. He prefers to work with what you have in your hand. Hence, if you don't have a job or a business, the first step is to get a job first then God will bless the works of your hands. It's the same when it comes to exams. If you study and then pray, God would help you remember what you've studied. But if you refuse to study and rely only on prayers, God isn't gonna break your head to insert the information. Secondly, the bible also advised us to sow our seeds in a good soil. There are Christian missionaries in dangerous parts of the world who are facing death and starvation every day. Those are the people I would recommending paying your tithes/sowing your seeds to ... and not to some overly rich "mega pastors" who just need your seed to purchase another private jet. O pari dalaman: Africans don't understand how the world works, that's why no matter how educated we are we still act no differently from our illiterate brothers and sisters living in our remote villages because we believe the same way that they do. We are too superstitious and we hide and mask behind our various religious beliefs to further our childish and primitive superstitious beliefs. It doesn't matter if we are in Nigeria, UK, France, US, China etc. We just keep carrying our ridiculous superstitions where ever we go.
The whites find that hard to believe and swallow. A white man can not understand how God will make you a millionaire by simply praying to him, or cure you of cancer. If God cures people from cancer hospitals and their very expensive medical equipments will not exist. If praying to God, sowing seeds and paying tithes makes people rich then African christians will be the richest people on earth.
When I first went to Germany over a decade ago I was astonished to realize that the christians there don't believe in miraculous healings the way we do. The way Nigerian christians have discarded all the old testament laws (except tithing ) is the way they have discarded things like miracles and other magical beliefs that comes from the bible.
Imagine people living in UK holding childish beliefs that if they sow seeds, God will make them pass their exams. What kind of primitive and childish superstitious nonsense is that? |

Bia, ChrisKels listen to me very well because I am NOT gonna say this again. You think that everyone has the time to literally live on this forum like yourself? News flash, some of us actually have gainful employments and don't have the time to come on here following every single post. Got it?? One glance at your posts and it is crystal clear that as human beings evolved some apes and some members of our species have yet to make a complete transition. You're the epitome of ignorance, the embodiment of idiocy, and allergic to logic. I think you're suffering from an Alarming Inability to Dialogue Sensibly (AIDS), and lacks the intellectual capacity to engage in a rational debate. Your presence here do nothing but drag this site down. One look at his threads and it fuels the racist notion that Africans are dumb, Aids-infested baboons who have just climbed down from tree tops and lack the capacity to dialogue intelligently. My friend, you're a complete embarrassment to the Black race and we really need to find a way to get rid of you. Even when I was four years old, my written English was more coherent than your incoherent ranting. Your presence tarnishes this site, pollutes what is a meeting of mature minds and obtusely destroys any constructive dialogue taking place. You resort to destructive negativity just because you do not have the intellectual capacity to follow the debate and foul the atmosphere with your intrusive, disgusting, fetid, gross, loathsome, noisome, offensive, putrid and repellant incoherent rants. Your disoriented, irrational, disordered, muddled and inchoate mind runs riot on this site polluting, corrupting, debasing, defiling and soiling any sensible debate we are trying to have. Please leave us alone, you are a total liability. If the quality of discussion here is above your IQ level, which I doubt to be above 55, please go elsewhere. There are a lot of websites for the intellectually challenged where I am sure you will feel more at home. O pari ChrisKels: Yea YOU (specifically) will always quote every post even inordinately so, by the way, whatever is posted here is open to quoting. But before u continue with ur unruly behavior and uncouth tenses, do me a favour, read the post above u. Did ur previous post have any correlation with my reason for calling out goldfish?
U like jumping into arguments ignorantly and end up making a f**l of urself. I wudnt call u senile for being so puerile with the way u approach issues most times but I am sanguine u would learn a lesson or two by the time u back to ur right senses. I actually laughed out loud when I saw this list. I am not saying that it's an illegitimate list but I hope that you guys know how to analyze/interpret the listing. A quick browse through the list shows it seems to be based mostly on contract length and age. Seems to ignore ability entirely. How else could you have Ndidi (51) ranked as more valuable than Toni Kroos (53). Is Wijnaldum (44) really worth more than Isco (45)? Oxlade Chamberlain (65) better than Verratti (78)? Dele Alli (6) better than Gabriel Jesus (17)? LOL Nathan Redmond (89) ranked above David silva, coman, Asensio, Alderweireld and kimmich?? Anyway, my point is, don't just take the raw scores (numbers) and run with them because, as my mom would say, "half education is dangerous". O pari ChrisKels: I brought this here specifically, bkus of u - goldfish - I will never forget the comment u made last year about Naby Keita in comparison with our home grown talents. To me, that was a challenge, if only I was at the helm... Nevertheless, Ndidi is saving our faces
Top 100 Most Valuable Players In Europe : Nigeria's Ndidi Is Second Most Expensive African Published: January 08, 2018 Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is among the top one hundred most valuable players in the top five leagues in Europe. According to new information from football statisticians CIES Football Observatory , the Nigeria international is worth 77.4 million euros, or in other words they recommended that teams interested in his services will have to cough up that amount in order to sign him. No other Nigerian player was included on the list, however, Mohamed Salah (€140.5), Sadio Mane (€66.3), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (€64.7m) are the Africans that featured. The most valuable in the world is Neymar (€213m) , who leads the way ahead of Lionel Messi (€202m). Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is the costliest player in the Premier League at €195m, followed by teammate Dele Alli (€171.3m) and Manchester City's Kevin de Bruyne (€167.8m). Ndidi joined Leicester City from Racing Genk in 2017, with the Belgian club pocketing 17.6 million euros. |

That's a gross exaggeration, right there! Biologically, no human being can lose more than 10lbs in one month, without surgery. And 10lbs cannot make a dent in the size of someone who's "faaaat".
