It is easy getting assistantship if u go der, that's if u eventually make that decision.

My friend who got admitted to TAMUK on a similar deal got a RA just b4 he moved.

Another got GA plus tuition waiver uppon arrival.

How does these 3 scenarios work?

I was thinking of how to ask while still here. I have a strong belief TAMUK would come thru and be sweet also.

I wouldn't advice anyone to send scores at such high rate. I sent all my scores via BY Mafit at 8k per school, and with access bank visa card, it's 8,775NGN.

A friend in the u.k helped me send @ 450 to a dollar (x3 schools). These are the tips we need here.

Acceptance for Msc Industrial Engineering Fall2017.

$1,000 annual scholarship + in state tuition. I completed my application roughly 3weeks ago. Rolling admission I guess.

Will go and battle for Assistantship if I go there.

I just got an Acceptance letter from Lamar University, Texas for their Industrial Engineering and Operations Research Program.

Wasn't expecting anything so soon. 1 out of 5 applications, 4 more to go.

Sooooo early, finished applying about 3weeks ago.

I was offered a $1,000 annual scholarship + I'll only pay in-state tuition just like I wanted.

Pls I'd like the house to clarify me on this:
The education consulting firm that registered me for GRE indicated "Small Business Operations" as Intended Graduate Major rather than the Mathematics and Statistics I gave them when I furnished them with my info for registration.

Could this have any bearing on my applications?

I have always felt ETS uses that part for data gathering regarding the class of people taking the test.

GPA : 3.35/4 - I was modest with my conversion.

GRE : 318
AWA: 4.0. This was my second GRE.

Toefl: 106 R28 L26 S26 W26
I will confirm later, my head is overheating. sure of the total score and speaking score.

LOR : 2 *very strong* ones from work. No idea what the Prof wrote in his own.

3.5yrs Work & 1.5yrs Internship Exp well tuned in my SOP to suite my area of interest for MSc. Thanks to SirRiddy.

Wayne State requires WES, No time for that one so I skipped them.

Ohio stated clearly that that have funding available for my specialization and they do a Rolling admissions.

This is not funny at all sha. How much be the exam sef? How I wan take start. I applied to a just single school and MUST get it.....any which way!!!

I wonder why they did a sudden about-turn, pushing for a waiver might get you accepted but kill every possibility of being funded.

I have been a little busy of late that's why I only come here to read post once in two days.

Which of the TAMU's are you people talking about? I applied to TAMU Kingsville, LSU, Auburn, UHoustin and Lamar for MS Industrial and Operations Research Engineering.

Time (wanted to do all by January) and difficulty paying for test scores and app fees made me stop there. I had plans applying to at least 7. The thing expensive no be small.

You can start with Gruber (for the basics in quantitative) and work your way up to the Manhattan Books, then finish with the official ETS guides. Good luck with your preparations.
