Red oil is actually unhealthy, the fact that we have been using it for cooking over the years doesn't mean it's safe.
Red oil are high in palmitic acid therefore not healthy cholesterol wise
Refined cooking oil like rapeseed oil and sunflower oil are actually safer and less in cholesterol.

I have been having this back and forth debate with my wife regarding cooking soup with groundnut oil as against red oil but she is on the negative. I had cooked Egusi soup with groundnut oil and it taste really nice. I had also done same with okra sea food and its really nice. The reason why I want to do away with red oil is because I have been advised on my cholesterol level and the odour from palm (red) oil doesn't sit well with me these days.

Which Red Oil and cholesterol? You're playing with your health by running away from something very good to a very terrible choice. Better consult a trained nutritionist and not those fake doctors telling you what they know absolutely nothing about. The so-called 'groundnut' oil you're using is nothing but highly processed palm olein which is terrible for your health and wellbeing.

Better run away from it and continue using normal Red Oil(Palm oil) which is good for your health. If you don't want to use Red Oil, which by the way has nothing to do with cholesterol, then go for Coconut Oil, Avocado Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil,etc.

Seed oils are generally bad for you.

The Church frowns against endorsement of same-sex unions. However same-sex couples can now be 'informally' blessed while they CANNOT still be wedded in the church as wedding is between a man and woman!

Don't mind them. Pope never said gay couples should be wedded. He only said due to the inclusiveness of the church, any one be it gay or not, who seeks blessings in the church should be blessed. Blessing of couple and wedding are two distinct things in the church.

He was a soldier in defense of democracy! Chief Kokori and Chief Gani Fawehimi were blessings to this country. Sadly, the youth of today are only interested ass licking just for crumbs instead of coming together to fight for common good like thise courageous men . Recently, a new line of propaganda has been released by APC which is to claim that Nigerians are the problem of the economy because they import too much and don't export enough. Another is to blame Buhari for wrecking the economy.
To me, this is not a sign of someone who is genuinely concerned about what is happening to the country on his watch just like Buhari

Fellow Obidients, we have come to the end of the road as far as seeking justice in the 2023 Presidential case is concerned! We fought a good fight. We believe our candidate, HE Peter Gregory Obi, was the best among the three protagonists. However, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had the most votes. The Supreme Court has unanimously affirmed his election.

After the 2023 general elections, I personally widthrew from commenting frequently in the politics section which I've been consistent for a few years for personal reasons. I will always support Obi unless a better person/candidate shows up in the future. My objective is for us to have a better society for us and our children.

After the end of Military rule in 1999, I supported President Obasanjo, Yar'dua, was indifferent to Goodluck Jonathan. I never supported Muhammadu Buhari throughout his eight years reign and I can never support him even if he were to be there for life. I kicked against most of his policies because I strongly believe he's grossly incompetent.

In the case of President Bola Tinubu, I won't be against him or his policies. I will rather wish him and his team the best in piloting the affairs of our country the right way. I will try my best to educate and admonish all the people in all our social media platforms and offline to see reasons why President Tinubu must be supported to succeed.
