Speak for yourself, I don't know anything, especially your baseless and nonfactual conspiracy theory rubbish.

Her parents did not go to the military academy to do all the hard work for her, they didn't run miles, do drills, fire automatic riffles or engage in other military training and activities, she did all the work so stop diminishing her hard work and achievements.

Keep your negativity and bad bele to yourself abeg.

Yeah, patriots of a country that has achieved nothing
If you haven't achieved anything in life, it is your fault, look in the mirror.

This wonderful young woman is a Nigerian like you and she worked hard and achieved her goals and objectives with the Green White Green all over her.

Make yourself useful instead of carrying hatred and bitterness everywhere and blaming Nigeria and others for your failures.

Abacha bag man

Let us apologize for any inconvenience or unpleasantness you have experienced," wrote Jim Kennedy of the Department of Homeland Security's Traveler Redress Inquiry Program in an April letter obtained by the Center

"Please understand that in order to detect those international travelers involved in illicit activities, we must, at times, unfortunately inconvenience law-abiding travelers," the DHS official wrote to Chagoury in April.

The formal waiver allowing him, his family and private jet pilots to travel again to the U.S. was finally granted last week.
You are a victim of your own ignorance.

What's the coastal road got to do with USA or Abacha?

The same USA bought land from him to build the largest US embassy in the world .

They same USA apologized to him and allowed him and his family to travel all over the US.

Curb your hatred and ignorance and educate yourself.

Third mainland bridge is like a dot compared to the bridge that you would need to cut across these areas. And I can assure you that federal government know it's impossible.

Chagoury is the one funding this whole madness. And we have Nigerian politicians that would destroy their citizens homes and livelihoods for a foreigner to benefit
He's not a foreigner, he's 100% Nigerian , born right here in Lagos. He runs a Nigerian company with thousands of Nigerian workers. He's more Nigerian than you sef.

PoliticsRe: Much Ado About Lagos: Once All Seaport Become Viable, It's Otilo To Lasgidy! by idealogical: 6:39am On May 02, 2024
BigkokoRep:
Prior to 1999, Lagos was the bastion of Activities, welcoming everyone and anyone to eek out a living according to their capacity. Lagos made many, while it also eat many. I remembered the many young men who left with nylon, coming back with cars, while others who left never came back.

I will speak more about our beloved Igbo brethren who had the Igbo Dream: A merit based society where the strength of your hands and brains elevates you into the Ozo title holders! All these were going smoothly and we'll until cursed fellows cripped in under the guise of democracy, one of that fellow happens to be Snake oil dealer currently regretting the stolen mandate he's struggling handle!

All these things about Lagos stayed just long enough because Lagos through negligence, willful policy or outright Devils mandatory act, retained itself as the only seaport in Nigeria. This is, in a Nigeria, where we have other viable Ports that served well prior to independence; Eastern Ports at Port Harcourt, Christianed Igweocha by prophet MNK, Calabar Port, Oron, and several River Ports at Onitsha,
If anyone reading this post, had ever visited Netherlands, Sweden and Germany they'd quickly agree with me that seaports and River Ports played a great role in Industrialization of these countries. They're all interconnected and serves more quickly, citizens who needs goods & services at a cheaper logistics costs. Can you imagine a Germany having just one seaport because the Eastern part of Germany is Communist leaning or the Western part of Germany is Capitalist in principle as well as actions? Common! This is one of the reasons why it appears blacks are exceptionally wicked unto their selves, preferring the country suffers because a general good Act would benefit the other tribe or religion. And you see old men, supposedly educated persons supporting these foolish & irresponsible policies!

For the igbos and others who see Lagos as an attractive investment destination, the long held bubble will soon bust! Yes, it's going to be when another seaport is held Open in another part of Southern Nigeria and then.....it's OTILo!
There are multiple seaports in the Southern part of Nigeria/SS already.

Btw, the largest seaport in Nigeria and West Africa is coming, wait for it, Badagry Deep seaport.

There's more to Lagos than the seaport, you cannot move Arts, entertainment, culture, finance, insurance, real estate, or duplicate VI, Ikoyi, Lekki, Eko Atlantic, or the wonderful infrastructures in Lagos to any other region in Nigeria.

Sing another song.

Commin, can't you do simple measurement? There is no thousands of houses in that short strip
Is it not common sense that the road and the houses started before and extend father down tham what the picture allowed? Even the tons of houses we are looking at in the picture is enough reason to stay away from the old alignment and instead use the empty track on the right?

Or you just want them to leave the empty track on the right where there's nothing to demolish but demolish houses on the left?

Who are you people deceiving with your deceptive photo?

Below is what's at the end of the old alignment you are parading around with, thousands of houses hence the government moving to the right to continue with the road.

No serious or sensible government will destroy thousands of homes and render thousands of people homeless and pay massive compensation just because of one man's business...

PoliticsRe: Lagos - Calabar Coastal Road. Old And New Alignmen. What Would You Do?. Pics by idealogical(op): 8:14am On May 01, 2024
Another economic reason to avoid the old alignment is the fact that the countless homes and businesses along that route pay more in property taxes and fees than LANDMARK and beach resorts combined.

You build infrastructure after investing in the people

As your people grow richer then need and can afford certain infrastructure then you build them

You don't build infrastructure and expect development
How do you invest in people without infrastructure?

Don't you have to build schools, colleges and universities to educate and train the people? Don't you have to build roads, and bridges to transport people to places of work and education? Don't you have to build hospitals to heal the people?

Btw, how do you grow richer without infrastructure? How do you trade, and move goods and services without roads and bridges or 200 million people must only depend on the ferry and products from our industries and manufacturing plants must be transported to markets and other locations via ferry only?

Do you not see how backward, ridiculous and absurd you sound?
PoliticsRe: Popular Obi Supporter Questions The Benefit Of 3rd Mainland Bridge by idealogical: 7:53am On May 01, 2024
This is where they source their backward and Stone Age mentality.

They don't like or believe in infrastructure.

The old place seems cheaper besides the road could have started from the outskirts of Lagos.

Una don dey justify this calculated attempt to ruin someone's massive investment.
So, it's cheaper to demolish the thousands of homes along the old road on the left, render thousands of people homeless and pay massive compensation than the empty land and the new alignment on the right?

Sometimes I wonder about you people, you live and exist in your weird alternate reality.

Is that too difficult for you to understand?
mrvitalis:
And what is the economic benefits of 3rd mainland bridge?

A simple fairy system that can carry people and car would do and generate billions

All you APC people know is to build worthless projects that u can brag with, that's all

For you that's governance

GDP growth, HDI and other relevant development stats means nothing to you
Dou you even read your post over before pressing submit?

By the way, the APC did not build TMB, the Military did.

Your post is not only sad and embarrassing, but it's ridiculous and disheartening that we still have people like you with an anti-progress and development mentality.

We are talking about the second-longest bridge in Africa, it moves people, goods, and services, and even the economic importance of this bridge is immeasurable.

Just imagine, that countries worldwide are developing, and building massive infrastructures including bridges, but backed-thinking people like you think we should stick to ferry boats in 2024.

Look at the old alignment with thousands of homes that the government left alone because there are too many homes to demolish and massive compensation to be paid.

Do you demolish thousands of homes and render thousands of people homeless or protect just one man's business at the expense of thousands of homes with men women and children.?

I think the government made the right decision.

This shallow and unpatriotic man is taking about job loss when in fact the project is a massive job creator and economic catalyst across several states and hundreds of communities, also easy movement of goods and services the Lagos industrial and manufacturing corridor to several states and multiple regions all the way to the North.

Thank God Nigerians rejected this shortsighted low thinking tribal and bigoted man.
