PoliticsRe: JONATHAN'S DECLARATION ; The Heights Of Apc's Hypocrisy.. . by idealsico(m): 6:54pm On Nov 11, 2014
They could not stop the presidential declaration today. Instead of condemning insurgncy they want to make political gains out of it. How any more innocent souls will be sacrificed to stop GEJ from becoming re-elected? I'm not a GEJ die-hard supporter but APC does not appear to be a viable alternative.
Business To BusinessRe: Using Fire Extinishers by idealsico(m): 5:44pm On Nov 11, 2014
The secret of successful fire fighting begins with early detection.Secondly, skillful application of the appropriate fire extinguisher. An extinguisher should be regularly inspected and serviced when due. Extinguisher should be sited very close to exit. This makes it easy for a person fighting fire to do so from a safe distance and can be able to escape without harm if the fire escalates. Remember the correct use of fire extinguisher - PASS.
PoliticsRe: Should Jonathan Have Declared His Presidential Ambition Despite The Bomb Blast? by idealsico(m):
No.It is not insensitivity. We can not allow insurgents to hold this country to ransom. It was actually timed to dissuade the president from declaring his intentions. There are better ways of achieving and or proving your opposition/dislike for the president without taking innocent lives. Again, the masterminds have been disappointed. Nigeria is bigger than any individual or region. God bless Nigeria. My condolences to the bereaved families.

This Op must be Chino,Ohakim,Nzeribe or any of those whose illegal means of sustenance slipped away four years ago.Free money is not shared to them anymore. I sympathize with you. Much as Rochas is not a saint, he is not the black devil you want to paint him. I believe he has done his bit considering the meagre resoures at his disposal. As I said earlier, he has his mistakes and failures but that does not wipe away his successes. Those before him did not do any better. You did not even acknowledge his successes. That makes you a bad critic. You are a hater and manifests characters of enemies of the masses.Let the people judge him.I am not an APC apologist.

PoliticsRe: Photo: The Nigerian Ebola Terrorist Who Stubbornly Took Ebola To Port Harcourt by idealsico(m): 9:16pm On Aug 30, 2014
Firstly, Patrick Sawyer, an ECOWAS Diplomat imported Ebola into Nigeria. As if that was not enough another ECOWAS Diplomat, Koye Olu Ibukun brought Ebola into Port Harcourt. Both of which did so consciously. I think the idea behind ECOWAS was for the advancement of the economic interests of this region and not to distribute Ebola. Please ECOWAS Diplomats should not attempt to change the intended meaning of ECOWAS to Ebola Community of West African States.
PoliticsRe: Koye Olu Ibukun The ECOWAS DIPLOMAT Who Moved Ebola To Port Harcourt Photo! by idealsico(m): 8:14pm On Aug 30, 2014
An ECOWAS Diplomat imported Ebola into Nigeria.Similarly, an ECOWAS Diplomat brought Ebola into Port Harcourt.I thought ECOWAS is meant to protect this region's economic interest. These ECOWAS Diplomats want to change the true meaning of ECOWAS to Ebola Community of West African States. Your behaviour is to say the least despicable.
PoliticsRe: Total Nigeria Completes Alaoji Power Station Gas Supply Pipe Line by idealsico(m): 12:03am On Aug 29, 2014
chudionu58: Am not experienced nor an expert in the O&G industry but, I am the type that research alot.... Sometimes in 2010 there was an uproar generated due to the seeming gross act of negligence by the NNPC in awarding an 18" pipeline for the alaoji power plant..Experts lamented that the pipeline may not be able to adequately serve the plant because of it's low pressure potential...It was later terminated and reawarded to Oilserv in 2011(August I think) to construct a 24" pipe to Owaza which would cater adequately for the plant...To be frank I've not been to the project sites, but these two links provide little room to doubt the current status of the project... http://www.mlsskylark.info/wwwOilserv/gas-pipelines.php and http://sweetcrudereports.com/2014/01/07/ndphc-moves-against-non-performing-nipp-contractors/..Thanks! expecting a robust reply!!
The NOPL is a 52Km 24'' gas pipeline project which construction started in August 2011. I am not aware of any pipeline already in place from Owaza node to Alaoji Power Plant at present. There's this NGC facility at Owaza, I don't know if there is any line from there to Alaoji. This can only be possible if there is an arrangement whereby Total sells to NGC and NGC then sells to Alaoji and other customers directly. In that case they have already signed sales agreement with buyers who can go ahead to build pipeline.
PoliticsRe: Total Nigeria Completes Alaoji Power Station Gas Supply Pipe Line by idealsico(m): 10:57pm On Aug 28, 2014
chudionu58: I would like to disagree
If you have any information that I do not have you can share it. To my knowledge there has been none on ground. Unless they started from their end which has not reached Owaza node. The node where the pipes would be hooked up is not ready yet. Facilities for metering the gas to buyers are not completed. Possibly, Alaoji may also have had an alternative gas supply line; my thought, though.
PoliticsRe: Total Nigeria Completes Alaoji Power Station Gas Supply Pipe Line by idealsico(m): 10:40pm On Aug 28, 2014
chudionu58: Good analysis! But specifically for Alaoji.. do you mean that pipeline entering into the power plant have not being built??
It hasn't.No potential customer has constructed pipelines.

chudionu58: Good analysis! But specifically for Alaoji.. do you mean that pipeline entering into the power plant have not being built??
It hasn't.No potential customer has constructed pipelines as at now.
PoliticsRe: Total Nigeria Completes Alaoji Power Station Gas Supply Pipe Line by idealsico(m): 10:30pm On Aug 28, 2014
chudionu58: "end user pipelines" explain please
The pipeline node is located at Owaza Ukwa LGA Abia state whereas most of the potential customers like Alaoji Power Plant and other gas users are located several kilometers away. Therefore, after gas sales agreements are signed with buyers, pipelines would have to be constructed to each industrial user's end. You can not begin to build pipelines until you are convinced the gas will flow. Remember it takes time to do that.A lot of time could be saved if potential customers begin to come up with discussions on laying their pipelines.
PoliticsRe: Total Nigeria Completes Alaoji Power Station Gas Supply Pipe Line by idealsico(m): 9:05pm On Aug 28, 2014
RareDiamond: CAN YOU PREDICT WHAT TIME NEXT YEAR THE PROJECT WOULD BE COMPLETED
It is hard to predict accurately.A lot of factors are involved which includes community and labour issues as well. You may think such issues have been fully resolved but they keep coming up again. A great percentage of materials have been received from abroad and civil work is ongoing at the Owaza node.I believe before the end of next year it would be substantially completed.Remember the end-user pipelines are yet to be layed. But in all, a lot of progress has been made.
PoliticsRe: Total Nigeria Completes Alaoji Power Station Gas Supply Pipe Line by idealsico(m): 1:59pm On Aug 28, 2014
The job is being executed by Saipem for Total.I was part of the manpower involved in building this project:Northern Option Pipeline (NOPL) Project. It covers from Rumuji-Ibaa-Isiokpo-Omagwa-Aluu-Igwuruta-Rukpokwu-Eneka-Igbo Etche-Umuebule Etche-Odagwa Etche-Owaza.The pipeline is virtually completed but Above-Ground Installation (AGI) facilities at both Owaza and Rumuji will be completed next year, likely. The Rumuji end will receive gas from O.U.R pipeline while buyers will lay theirs from Owaza node (Abia state) to point of use. Nigeria is Working, let's be patient. It will take a little more time for delpoyment.God bless Nigeria.

TravelRe: Pitiable condition of Port Harcourt /Owerri road (Umuapu axis) by idealsico(m): 2:35pm On Jul 14, 2014
The poster does not have the correct details of that road.Admitted, the road is in a very bad state. However,it is a federal road already undergoing reconstruction. It is practically impossible for the state government to either re-award the contract or as it stands, carry out any activity on it. The FG will view it that an opposition governor wants to ridicule it and score cheap political goal.Remember how Godsday Orubebe reacted when Amaechi offered to do the Rivers segment of the East - West road that was in a sorry state.I am not holding brief for the Imo state government but I know that Rochas had had cause to intervene on FG roads in the past, eg Aba - Owerri road,Owerri - Orlu, etc.

My experience with Engr. Emeka Unachukwu (current President, Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce,Mines and Industry) with his Morflex Export Ltd. is a very ugly one. I was introduced to him by my former colleague at work.Emeka persuaded me to come over to work for him and that he would pay me higher than I was receiving then.I left my job and switched over.I never knew he was such a terrible person to work for.He was based in Port harcourt, while I was operating his business with a University in my state. This man would be posing as a big man, displaying all manner of cars but could not pay our salaries. Before I left that job, he owed me more than ten months salary. He issued me dud cheque a number of times. The few times he paid me was by the compulsion of his business partners who paid us and back-charged him.Very soon I will drag him to court. Emeka Unachukwu and his Morflex is bad example of an employer.

The destiny of Igbos is in the hand of God.When the appointed time comes no Jupiter can stop them from producing the president.Weeping can only endure in the night but JOY comes in the morning.Who ever believed Ijaws could produce the incumbent president. No amount of hate can change what God has decreed.

Christianity EtcRe: The Bones Of St Peter Go On Display by idealsico(m): 5:54pm On Nov 14, 2013
The dead is dead and forgotten. There is no benefit in displaying the bones of the dead to the living. Where I weak for Catholics na where them dey claim say them no wan carry first, they no wan strive for the kingdom of God.As they no get strenght say na last them wan carry.Give us Purgatory. Why settle for an imaginary ' place of temporary punishment' when there is a better offer. Some people are busy seeking God's righteousness while others are busy picking bones of dead people and preserving them for posterity.Quite funny. My prayers is that they realize they errors while there is still time and do the needful.

I never believed the extent of environmental degradation of Ogoniland resulting from oil exploitation, until I came across the objective assessment and subsequent report 'UNEP Report On Ogoniland'.The assessment and the report was conducted by the United Nations Environmental Programme.I must admit that the degradation is collosal.Only in Nigeria could such a thing happen.I now understand what Ken Saro-Wiwa died for.Since then I have been sharing the pdf copy of the Report with those who have interest.
