The name Nwosu and Osu caste system are completely unrelated. I come from a town in Anambra that practiced osu....in fact , the forest that contains the shrine belong to my kindred. The practice has since been abolished and the land was given to them as reparations. So , stick to what you know, ok.

While it may not be the only factor , language is a strong pointer to the origin of a people because languages are not easily lost. It was language that we used to silence Onicha's Bini ancestry claims because there was no traces of a lost language.

If the people if Opobo and Bonny make claims of losing their Ijaw language to Igbo then they are shooting themselves in the foot .... 1. Because there are patterns of language developments and extinction , 2. It means they were outnumbered which would them Igbo etc.

Anambra never used to cook ji mmili oku....its Imo and Abia culture. We feed our nursing mother's ofe nsala which we use yam as thickner. Everybody knows Imo love watery soup like your ofeowerri. Anambra people are famous for our thick soups.

Of course , you know we own ofe akwu , nkwobi and isi ewu.


My wife is constantly teaching Imo and Abia women how to cook " ofe Anambra" according to them. That's how I know you guys don't eat what we eat.....lol

Imo and Abia cook ofe Owerri, Ukazi and Utazi....i have two Anambra guys who married to Imo ladies and usually mock their wives Imo soup.

Uziza might be rare in our areas but we will always cook our food the Anambra way. We don't cook ofe Owerri or Ukazi soup because we don't fancy them....every Igbo mama put cook Anambra soups.

Kwale are not Igbo unlike our Enuani blood. Kwale cook like Uhrobo and Esan.

As far as I know Omanbala areas and Enuani cook ofe nsala the best...ofe nsala is usually cooked for nursing mother's due to its richness if ingredients.

In fact , Ofe nsala originated from Omanbala areas , the Anambra riverian areas and Asaba Delta state....Its Anambra because it's cooked with coco yam. Any soup cooked with coco yam belongs to Anambra because with love our soups to be very thick.

Professional referees do not view hitting a player and pushing to be the same thing. Pushing and rough tackling is unsportsmanlike behavior and leads to a yellow card. Striking a player is violent behavior and is a straight red. This is why you see players push a lot but hardly anyone hits another player.
