Many atimes we unknowingly affect others response to us. When you tell a family member your salary, you may become the Father Christmas or have your money being planned by them. Sometimes, when we tell our friends they may get jealous or have a feeling of inferiority/superiority complex. So, I ask will you share your salary information with your family/friends? What are your reasons for your decisions?

Now that the entire nation (except the cattle owners) has acknowledged that the menace of herdsmen has become unbearable, perhaps the rural folks who bear the brunt of their destruction should take steps to protect themselves, while the lethargic and almost nonexistent government try to get it's act together.

In the next few weeks, we are bound to hear more news and more gory details of how these primitive people invaded a community and slaughter defenseless people. That is as certain as the sun rising from the east. As they cannot really acquire guns and ammo, perhaps a more subtle and ingenious approach could be adopted. Here is an interesting piece I just read online about how the poor folks in certain villages in Imo state tackled their menace:

They came together and reasoned what to do to drive the herdsmen from their communities without firing a shot. They agreed and tasked every woman in the communities to contribute 1 Derica cup of ground pepper each. They brought the pepper together and organized themselves in groups in the night to spread the pepper across all the farms in Nekede and Ihiagwa. The following morning, the marauders came as usual with their cows. Lo and behold, in less than 30 minutes they lost 15 cows because when cows smell or ingest pepper, they die. Immediately the Fulani herdsmen fled with their remaining cows and sanity returned to Nekede and Ihiagwa..."[/b]

So, maybe this method can be put to the test across every region and farmlands that are vulnerable to their incursions. I know I would do everything within my powers to protect crops in my farmland.
In addition to this, it won't be a bad idea to boycott buying beef for the next few months, until their markets get crippled. This step cannot be easy to implement. It will require a lot of effort to get people across the entire south to do this. But the ground pepper seem easier and more practical.
Expecting the federal government to take an ambitious and resolute approach to ending this terror is simply a waste of time. As it is, they are hoping to grab lands mostly in the south, to serve as grazing reserves. This is bound to add fuel to the problem. No doubt. So, before our government and it's unofficial foot soldiers hound us till we go extinct, I think we should give ourselves a fighting chance first.

MY BROTHER, THE COST OF NEPA TO MY HOUSE WAS ALMOST SAME PRICE AS THE INVERTER, SO I OPTED FOR INVERTER CUS THE LIGHT IS REGURLAR, ONLY HAD TO CONSIDER MY TENANT AS I CANT PROVIDE HER WITH THE SOLAR. HAD TO BUY 8 POLES AND BARE CONDUCTOR PLUS ACCESSORIES AND STILL PAY THEM TO GET NEPA, MEANWHILE IT WILL NEVER BE REGULAR WHILE YOUR BILLS WILL BE REGULAR
