so far so good,i want to thank u guys who stood out to advise me during this process ,case has been settled and i didnt pay a dime. its good to stand on ur right ,the perm sec who is incharge of the transport ministry due to the death of the commisioner for transport enacted his own law and started extorting motorist . Even their legal practioner told me they had no right to arrest and impound my car. They threatened their lawyer and she backed out ,but i was persistent. luckily the special assistant to the governor on transport called in and my case was presented to him . He is a noble man and opted for immediate release of my car. I asked him afterward if I can drive with the permit and he said hence it's genuine that I can use it . Unless the police request I remove it .

Car was towed already . Again what they wrote on my offense was "no tinted permit"

Mot has no right under the law to take the vehicle.
Now on the permit the ban was for new one not existing ones with every documentations.
If you have a good lawyer go make a good case...

Greetings everyone ,yesterday afternoon my car was driven by my wife to get some drugs . After about one hour I got a call from her about being seized by the state ministry of transport (MOT).
I gasped for air thinking she has violated a traffic rule or probably ran against the traffic light. On inquiring what happened she told me she was held for driving on tinted glasses ,I told her to reach for the tint permit and doctor's report which were all authentic but all those were turned down.
I then opted to go there and meet them,on reaching there I found out they had already towed the car to their office .Question is "when did the state ministry of transport's job description changed'.
I want anyone who knows if there is a new power or law shouldered on the state ministry of transport to start such act without due announcement and notification to the public .
Bumper of my car was mutilated during the said process and car still parked at their yard .
Pls can anyone advise me on what to do because I don't intend to take it light with them if I findout I didn't break any rule.

Go there, buy diesel worth 10k and opt to leave ,wen they insist u can insist the pump attendants must call their manager. When he shows up,show him ur proof and leave.if he insists tell him to follow u to the bank for rectification. Case closed .

This is new scope guys use to scam people . Wen u get there they will make u call other guys who can believe u and pay same amount to travel there. Wen the person gets there they pay u ur commission and the chain continues . Its a scam and syndicate used to trick people into paying for travel while they get commissions. I know who has been through same thing and they are so foolish as what they charge is same 500k for every country. They use Benin,ivory coast,togo,Ghana, etc. Don't listen to them pls .

Nice post but.... I strongly disagree with you coz ladies marry men that are ready . Ladies again just dont want to get married as their sense of reasoning has been clouded by frivolities.
