Am caught between buying a 2013 Accord CVT transmission and Camry 2013 22pin transmission.
Which of them is most rugged and longer lasting and also cheaper to replace, if need be.

I am planning to get same Honda Accord 2013 model infact I missed a good deal just last week but I believe I will get another deal.

Guru in the house should please explain the cause of this steering to other side.

I stand to be corrected, I think the Honda Accord 2013 beats the Camry hands down interms of Pricing, Drivability and handing, efficency and power, cost of parts, beautiful interior...

The Camry 2012 is behind the Accord 2013.

I want to know if the transmission is repairable or you just change it completely when it is faulty.

Between Accord 2013 CVT transmission and the Camry 2012 6speed transmission, which is more durable and costly.

Please, help a brother, so I won't make a wrong decision.

I can tell you, my 2015 Passat Cc drives so smooth than the Benz GL 550.

The Stallion guy, Technician is here and he confirmed the fuel control module is fault.
I wonder while a new fuel Co trol module will go bad.
Though, his changing ni Sha... and will later diagnose the car. He assured it it will be fine.

I no fit park the car outside, Moreso na official car.
Though the Mechanic is on it way, but I was just worried what could be wrong with the car, having changed those components.

I perceived the fault is still from the fuel line...

Yes it worked, I drove from Mile 2 to Maryland, from Maryland to Alapere, from Alapere to Ikorodu.

I still went to a few places within Ikorodu, till I got home around 12 midnight lastnight.

It was lastnight and I was about entering my gate the engine stopped and I tried to start it again, it will start and off immediately.
Now this morning, just cranking no starting.

So, it worked, well with AC and full operation as at yesterday afternoon till midnight.

A VW Passat cc 2015 model engine just stop when I was about to park into my compound after several waka.

The car has being abandoned for a year but overhaul was done early this week.

I changed the followings:
Fuel pump and it assembly.
Oil filter
Spark plugs
Air filter
Fuel control unit
Engine oil
Buzzer horn
Instrument cluster
Coding of the Cluster

I tried to start the engine multiple times, engine starts and off back immediately.
As at this morning, the engine is just cracking not starting.

What could be the problem again.

I wonder I never heard of Polytron from any of the Automobile and Oil specialist Gurus on this tread.

Does this mean, they don't know POLYTRON Metal Treatment Concentrate for ICE engines that reduces wear and tear to 99%.

Am not a fan of addictives but this Polytron has be preached beyond 100% performance to improve engine performance and reduces any friction inside the engine.

Please buy the RWD and not the AWD.
You achieve better mileage with the RWD and little or Zero maintainance on the Drivetrain other than the AWD.

This car is a good buy from the reviews I have read so far about it. I have reseached on it far and wide and I can deduce that it it a good car to buy. The 6cyl and 2.5litres engine displacement I think is a very good car for first time 6cyl users. It is the most fuel economy Lexus car you can buy. It is through that it the fuel economy is similar to a 4cyl camry of 2.5litres, the most fuel efficient Lexus that lacks power.

Though it is not a drivers car, for Car euthusiat who love sporty performance, and high Revs during driving will be disappointed and a major set back of the car from the reviews is the crampy space in the rear. This scores the car very low rating.
In terms of reliability, luxury, fuel economy and quality interior the car score high but for James Bond driving and interior space it is 2/10.

It is a very good car you will enjoy for long so far you use Recommended oils and lubricants, No abuse, the car is strong and the engine is built for a life time.
The car is a good upgrade from a Corolla or Honda Civic especially for average height owners.

@Poster ask your Mechanic to check your Spark coils.
The spark coils are failing, it jerks when the engine is cold but accelerate wells when engine is hot.
The spark coils are failing, test it will new set of spark coils and tank me later.

This jerking is very deceptive, at one point you may think is the Fuel pump, Filter, nozzle etc but change the plugs and spark coils to new set.

I guess this mode of parking should be more important when probably you are parking on a Sloppy terrain.

2 years ago, I had a self accident at Iyana oworo i ward 3rd mainland bridge due to a reckless driver that overtook me at a close range i was avoiding to hit from the rear... so i swerved into the convert...i will actually label that accident as an act of being inexperienced on my part because it could have being avoidable.

Secondly was sometimes least year after a hectic day at day work on Lagos island, i was going home and there was this traffic caused by Village witchcrafts on 3rd mainland bridge, Mad traffic....Omo i no know when i begin dose for steering, i hear gbosa my eye clear sharply.
I don jam one prado rear recovery hook, my headlamp cracked straight.... the prado guy too no even come down sef, we dey follow the traffic go like that....Very mad evening..

I use a Corolla 2005 and i use 20w50 mobil oil for lube service.
I do my servicing every month or every 2000miles.
Can i apply polytron MTC for engine longer life in my next lube service.

I used this popular Holts transmission fluid by a local manufacturer LB Industries on my Corolla 2005 model around April 2019, though no glitch has been recorded at all but could this have effect on my transmission in future or I should just drainage it out immediately and use Toyota T-IV.

Moreso, I uses the car for E- hailing business.

I agreed with the aesthetic interior nd body shape of Honda cars but Toyota is still the best most reliable and efficient car you can ever have with peace of mind.

The Corolla 2020 Hybrid am getting will be a foreign used one and am planning towards it by this time next year.
I will be using it as my personal car and certainly I move around alot due to my job but certainly NOT to be use for Uber.

Uber fire...my talking about a 2020 Corolla here.

I just wish to make use of a Hybrid spec and especially when Corolla now has a Hybrid spec, I wish to enjoy high MPG but if it will come with lots of precautions and challenges of unassured or guarantee Hybrid battery replacement that can tear my pocket into 2 piece irrespective of how many years I have been using the car then, I think I won't hesitate to do the ICE 2020 Corolla LE trim.

Do you have any input Sir.
