There was no price attached so you can't place order. I tried it. I eventually placed the order at 72 yet to execute after 30minutes

Who has been able to purchase Roblox? It was listed on Trade 212 for 65 and I have been trying to get it but the system keeps rejecting my purchase. It's now 70.95 and still unable to buy

Read about this yesterday and was about coming here to ask.

Has anyone here had any experience buying this kind of stock? I know it is a great risk as it can swing in either direction quickly. Learnt it's coming out at the initial price of $45 per share.

Can someone advice based on experience whether this is a good buy and whether it is good stock to hold for long (I know the company made impressive gains during covid but I'm not sure that gain will last long when people are out of lockdown and back to school and their business).

Also how can I buy stocks on before the market opens (Pre-market) as I don't seem to see this option on Trade 212

This is encouranging. Not your thesis but the fact that you are looking for patterns. however never assume that the market would behave the same way. A lot of institutions that used bots missed out of the rally last April because who would have thought of a pandemic and its effect on the matket. Also put in mind that the US market is very efficient. That is , it reacts to info quickly. So the trends you notice are just reaction to current news. Lastly, it is assumed that newbies rush to trade at the opening of the market whike the big boys (institutional investors) do most trading towards the close of the trading session. So just hold off to onsetve wehere the trend is going unless you are uktra long teem. But nice one. Love the fact that you are trying to read between the lines

Hello house I just wanted to drop my observations here (I might be wrong maybe it's a one time event and feel free to correct me as I'm just starting this US Stock thing).

I noticed at the opening of market each day stock prices usually go up or down based on News, and several factors which I don't know. Then around 3 to 5 hours later it start going down and towards the end of the market it comes up again. So yesterday I decided to test the hypothesis.

At the beginning of the market Tesla share was trading around 600 or so (I got 2 the previous day at $625) so I kept close eyes on it. It went down to 540 and at that point I wanted to buy but it dip a little bit so I set the buy option to 500 (poor me i read an article online that says Tesla stock is overvalued at 500) when I came back in the evening it was already back to 590. I panickly got 1 at 580 something.

Meanwhile mid market (when the stocks were bleeding for real) I got some Sensonics for $2.2 per share, some Naked Wire and 5 pieces of NIO (I wanted to buy this one last week for over $40 but ended up buying it at $34 each yesterday). At the end of the market the 3 went up and all were Green.

Note: When I started last month I had no clue of what I was doing, I just come here and see recommendations and I buy them straight away without DD (I didn't even have a clue what to look out for then). My folder is still very very red but it's good to see 4 to 5 of the stocks being green in the middle of this dip

Using this medium to thank all the gurus in the house. Although I have been following the thread for awhile but I started purchasing stocks last month. Today was a huge gain for me, swung some shares today and made some gains (it was a huge risk). Bought 25 pieces of Gamestock and Kempharm (20) and sold everything and made descent gains. Will be using the gains to get more stocks in my red folder

that's not true. The issue with the Russian vacancine is that proper standard as regards clinicay trials were not properly followed.it was rushed in other for them to claim first. This is a fact even the WHO.is worried about.please check the timeline. The issue and fear is over the next phase of the virus evolution would the so called vaccine help or further worsen the situation we don't know .there are no proper verifiable data as regards the Russian claim. They skipped various stages of trials ,which are very important ones.My point is Africans should be very careful in jumping on these claim.

A petition has been launched on the popular petition site change.org urging UK NMC to stop test centres in Nigeria, Ghana and other African countries from exploiting nurses sitting for CBT, the first phase of exam written by foreign trained nurses who want to move to UK. The petition which started less than 12 hours has since gone viral with over 500 signatures. The petitioner wondered why Pearson Vue accepts cards from Nigeria for most of its exams including NCLEX but rejects card payments from applicants sitting for CBT Exam.

In a swift reaction one of the leading CBT Test Centres in Nigeria Bellaz Educational Services has given insight into why Nigerian cards are not accepted for CBT registration. The Manager of the test centre Mrs Ogechi Onyemem said her business holds only legal rights to make payments on behalf of applicants from Nigeria.

Many Nigerians in the past have accused Nigerian business owners conducting foreign exams in the country of painting the country's payment system black to foreign partners so they can be given the sole right of making payments on behalf of applicants which creates room for extortion.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has said that the candidate of the opposition PDP in the 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar, has questions to answer when he returns from his current trip to the United States.

The government said it is investigating Mr Abubakar’s alleged role in the collapse of former Bank PHB.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said this while briefing State House correspondents on Friday.

Mr Mohammed said the decision to question Mr Abubakar is “following fresh evidence that he benefitted from slush funds that led to the collapse of Bank PHB.”

The government spokesperson said the government has in its position “paper trail which shows that he benefitted from N156 million.”

“It started from an internal memo dated 13 January 2009 asking that a draft in favour of Atiku Abubakar of 156 million should be raised,” he said.

Mr Mohammed also said another memo on the same date was raised to confirm that the amount was raised from a “claimant management account.”

He said the government has proof of the account mandate, cheque and account statement showing Mr Abubakar as the signatory to the account that received the money.

“We want him to stay in the US for as long as he wants but he has to explain to Nigerians when he returns,” he said.

Speaking further on the visit of the former vice president to the U.S., the minister said the government had earlier issued a statement advising the U.S. not to issue him a visa.

He, however, said it remains the prerogative of the U.S. government to issue visa to anyone

“We are not perturbed one bit. He can go ahead and get a U.S. green card. That will not save him from imminent defeat in the forthcoming election,” Mr Mohammed said.

He also said the “election will be held here not in the U.S.”

The minister, however, said his claim does not imply that the former vice president will be arrested on his return.

Thanks. I don't have statement of result either but notification of result issued by the department. Will that suffice? Also the transcript will be coming directly from the department and not from the school directly, is that also acceptable?

If you've got a statement of result you may have a chance here. But you'd need to try. As long as you've completed all credit requirements for the degree, I don't see a problem.

Good evening great minds, please can one get ECA report for degrees not yet issued? Degree already completed 2 years ago and transcript ready from the department but due to crisis degree is yet to be confered .

If yes I do like to know the assessing body that can issue ECA report without degree certificate

Your gpa is good. But you might not have any luck with the top ranked universities in Canada because often times they receive applications from people with higher cgpa. For some like uni of saskatchewan, they tend to consider applications on first come first serve basis cos they receive a lot of applications especially for the MPH degree. I think you should go for usask, apply as early as whenever their portal opens for application, u'll have better chances.

U can also check out other schools, i am just mentioning these two instances because they were the ones i applied to. Uni of Alberta which i got and usask which i did not get cos of late submission.

Good morning house, I'm interested in studying Master in Public Health in Canada but I'm worried my cgpa might not be strong enough considering that I have checked 2 schools and discovered that although 70/75 per cent was there minimum admission requirement, it was clearly stated that some people with 80 per cent last year got denied as their grade weren't competitive enough.

My overall cgpa is 3.76 while for the last 2 university years is 3.9 or 79 per cent

With this do you think I won't have issue with visa if I apply for Postgraduate studies in community health which is in line with my course and work experience (Public Health)?
