I spoke with my Credible Source this night regarding updates on the ongoing NERC recruitment. Below are what he told me:

* Since the last test we had, no meeting has been convened to discuss anything further
* Just like other agencies and parastatals, NERC is currently on holiday
* Meeting will be held on 10th January 2023 purposively to discuss the next step of this recruitment process.

As long as we are still in, I will always update the house whenever there is new update.

Don't expect anything January if they are just "discussing" on 10th . In fact forget February too because of election and throw March into it also. Just focus on what you are doing already or find something doing cause we are in for a long thing.

Depends on where you are coming from but ShopRite isn't too far from it. Assibifi street, It's popular so you can't get lost if you ask around.

The thing made me argue with her, I don't know if she wanted me to rub her hand. I angrily step out to go make the NPC. I don't know why she didn't accept mine but swore i wouldn't give them N1 extra.

No. Only NPC birth certificate is acceptable. It shouldn't be up to N1000, max 2k depending on where you are doing it.

No. I went on same day of capturing and opened a file. Within 3 hours i was done. Don't mind the crowd standing outside, just go straight inside to the receptionist by your right. Make sure you come with all the right documents including NPC birth certificate and your NIN match. I had issues with my NIN so i couldn't captured that day. I captured the next week after i have corrected my name in my NIN.

True. I don't mind being disqualified by someone who scored higher in my role, i will be more than happy self. At least it's the same questions we answered. That's how the competition should be based.

No question is simple or hard. It depends on your background knowledge of the role you applied. You can't study engineering and applied for human resources thinking you will find it easy without having a knowledge of some basic terminologies

If you saw questions IT supports were asked you wouldn't say this, I guarantee you so long as you can use a computer you can answer literally all. You don't even need to study Computer science to know all that. You can't compare hardcore calculation questions for just 30mins with "Which of this is an output device?", "What is a computer?" Or generic roles like Frontdesk and Consumers Analyst that anyone can do.

So there are supposedly 3 slots per state, and the competition for those slots on merit in those states mentioned is just mental.

If it were strictly based on merit and not quota, Lagos for example will end up with 10-15 persons recruited, but since that’s not the case, those 15 will have to battle for 3 slots or 4 at most.

I said 4 slots at most because few states will have to fill the quota of some states that won’t be able to fill theirs.

Okay i get it now. Competition will definitely be high in states were many applicants scored high. But wouldn't this be unfairly distributed among roles? IT supports and Constumers/Consumers Analyst questions were very cheap, if it were general questions it would have made sense. They surely can't use them to filled up Engineering/Account/Research roles etc.

If you’re from the 17 Southern States plus Benue, Plateau and Kwara and u know within u say u no score reach 140 for the two test, I advise u just forget about NERC.

A reliable source called me yesterday and he said there's gonna be a third test before the interview. That's the plan for now. It's most likely gonna be on emotional intelligence.

This can be taken online then, Banks do it all the time. It's just a personality test. Hope they don't want to stress the shortlisted applicants again.

No they don't send text. Date on the passport said "Issued October". My tracking have been on the final stage since September also. I captured August and also asked around and people told me August passports have been out since October.

Finally collected my Passport at Alausa. Captured August, It was due since October but didn't had time to keep checking. Only checked once in September. Didn't pay a naira extra apart from the 25k. They didn't ask me for money either, i just grab my passport, sign, thumbprint and log out. Completely DIY, Only attempt this if you have time like me sha. I knew i wouldn't need it anytime soon.

They're people like that which work is to be discouraging others. Yes we know we can't all get it as slots are limited(It's common sense), but what's the point of stating the obvious? Telling people to give up while you yourself haven't? Some will tell you not to bother writing the exam but will be the first at the venue, others weren't even shortlisted. We have lives before this and if we don't get it we will return to our lives, shove your pessimism somewhere else. If you really have learnt from NDCMB you wouldn't bother applying for this again.

Almost 100% certain, bar any last minute change.

There might even be a personality test for the finalists before the interview.

NERC are understaffed (about 200). The Plan is to add another 100 minimum.

Close to 10000 people wrote the test yesterday, not 4000 or 15000 and over 70% were just there to make up the numbers.

Thank you for your inputs. We have three sources now and i am not disputing any. There's always an element of truth in all.

If u scored 50 in the last test and another person from your state scored 70, the later already has a 20 marks head start leading into yesterday’s exams.

The recruitment process will be Cumulative.

I hope i scored high in the first test cause this yesterday test i no understand at all. Please how sure are you that it's cumulative? Thank you.

I reside in Abuja, it is 20 kilometers drive from my residence to NERC office. I was following the recruitment process from the start.

What was supposed to be done was interview not the second stage test. Lek4sure was well right in his information after the test. Initially, it was to be a single test administered online or cbt center followed by interview.

Unfortunately, the stakeholders involved wanted to make money. I personally later found out that they were more interested in making money than the recruitment. They designed and created this nuisance. I don't participate in unnecessary nuisance created by men for men's benefits. Sadly we found out that they were hidden stuff, and that is enough for us never to complete what we started. [/b]I wish those currently involved in the process the best of luck God will offer to them in Nigerian government affairs. What is going in and out of Nigeria and how Nigeria is being run and operate, it is enough for me to decide to surrender the country to them! I personally surrender Nigeria affairs to the elite as I had earlier did! God is sufficient for us outside Nigerian government elite affairs! Believe it, it would work for us! Sir you definitely have something better or you could have just taken the test since it's a 20km drive from your residence. By 9:30am most of us are done. Some people travel from a far for this but i totally get your points. Please try to see things through from your perspective and not rely on hearsay or random sources, you may miss out.

That's what i was thinking until he told me he applied for an Analyst I role. Another one is consumer marketing stuff which i am not sure is a managerial role.
