In the Union Bank test by Dragnet I made reference to, thousands applied all over the country. Only few of us made it to the interview stage.

Back to the NERC recruitment test with 100 questions in all, considering the critical nature of the questions and time constraint, could you confidently boast of answerring at least 70 questions correctly? Don't tell me by the grace of God, answer from the grace of your abilities.
Just because you can't boast of answering 70+ questions correctly doesn't mean they won't be others who answer even 90+. They may be people who have even seen the questions beforehand or others with insider knowledge but are silent, you don't know all 14k people. I wished they showed results like they did for NCDMB we would be seeing screenshot of 90%, 80% by now. You and others around you aren't the only people in the country, they are always exceptions. Just pray your scores favours you based on applied role and region/state.

What if nobody scored up to 70%? Only asking because sometime we wrote this kind of test with dragnet, the highest score was 52%. From interactions with those that were invited for interview, it's like I was the third highest with 46%. That was Union Bank recruitment.
14k applicants and nobody will score 70%? Lol my brother they would be people who will score 90% self. And then they will be others with less than 40% that will get the job. I believe they can get like 200+ people who scored above 70% but they won't be evenly distributed among states and regions, for some states that 70% would have to be lowered.

Nothing spectacular here, some people initially show this before it changed. It's a glitch. Besides they don't work on Saturday/Sunday so even if they would be any updates it would be on Weekdays.

Great! Your guess work is good - It's a mix actually, somewhat casual too; questions about your preferred state of deployment and, possibly, preferred department. The bank wants to handle Logistics, accommodation and basic amenities (via lump sum, I presume) at the end of the virtual training. I believe it's only for people that will be redeployed because not everyone will be moved to another state.

Regardless, the bank wants to offset some of the bills.
Please what are the various departments in UBA or a Nigerian bank? I search in Google and it's displaying foreign stuffs. Thank you

Let's hope the interviews hold this year. there's still 3 months left.
Buhari is leaving so they will 100% wrap it up before next election and likely filled it up with their people. Whether merit or magu magu i am sure it will be concluded before next election, if they didn't get back to anyone by election just know they have filled up the slots already.

He doesn't know better. Anything he says has been ruled out since he mentioned they have only one staff in a state. NERC has 6 offices in the 6 geopolitical zones not state by state offices. Perhaps a NIPOST office in a rural area have more than a staff and a structure of their own. NERC is an independent regulatory body enacted by Nigerian law. Electricity Generation, Transmission and Distribution companies all licensed and regulated by NERC. (Power and energy ; billion dollars industry) How could their offices looks like a rented shop? Then why are we interested in working for them?
Those six offices are Zonal offices. However they have "Forum" offices in over 30 states. The states and address are actually on their website.

. You are very funny their state offices are complain offices. Like the Kaduna own it's only one staff, my bro served there last year. The whole country they don't have more upto 200 staffs.
2018 they only had 172 staffs for the whole country. They was a popular news were they use almost half of the revenue they generated to pay their less than 200 staffs.

Those who will be rescheduled will definitely have advantage over others. the questions will still be sourced from the same bank. Tracking the source question bank is very simple since there are sample questions made available by you. For those who couldn't take the exam today, you are very lucky
That's if they get rescheduled. But then the only questions that's 100% sure for them is the Maths and to an extent the Diagrammatical. The rest even if they look at it 1 year the answers aren't 100% certain.

I hope you all had a great test experience.

This recruitment is a very competitive one and structured to get the best out of the best for each of the geopolitical zones for each role advertised. Only the top percentile will be shortlisted for the next stage which will come up at a later date. The goal is to select one candidate per role except a few with two vacancies

Those that missed their test should check their mail frequently for a mail rescheduling them for another test. In other not to miss out, ensure you send a mail to careers.support@nerc.gov.ng and
careers@nerc.gov.ng

Good luck to you all!
So it's not even by state but by Geopolitical Zones? Hmmm. Thanks as always for your valuable contributions.

The test was divided into two today....some wrote Test (I) and others Test (II)
Exactly what i was thinking. I saw a screenshot of a question that didn't came out in mine. That's probably what the (I) and (II) means. Just slightly different questions for different time.

Mine is showing the state I'm based in but my friend's own is showing the state she is from. You should have your state of origin on your CV. But I remember filling my state of origin on the form. I wonder what happened.
She definitely made a mistake then or she is based in the state she is from. Everyone else is showing state of residence. Sure my State of Origin is definitely in my CV. The CV is nowhere to be found in the profile tho.

What state is showing on yours? Is it the state you're from or the state you're based in?
The state i am based in. Wow come to think of it my State of origin is nowhere to be found in the profile, they probably have it somewhere in their database but if they're going by state of residence i am toast.

I learnt from a reliable source that cut off mark 70% God help your children
Your "reliable" source is wrong cause they can't have a general cutoff mark accross states and roles. If nobody in a particular state meet this cutoff mark then nobody would be recruited from that state? Or if no Lawyer or Accountant reach the cutoff mark then they won't recruit lawyers again lol. No be JAMB.

Website is slow now. But after i login i copy and paste that testmi profile link. The login link is different from the profile link but you must login first to see profile if not it will just redirect you to "login" link. They was even an option to download the exam card in PDF, Doubt it has any use tho.

If you login and then click here it's no longer showing the role you apply for but Exam card.

testmi.ng/candidate/profile

This means they are serious they can throw you anywhere they like even if you applied for higher roles.

What do you guys think the cut off mark will be? 60, 65, 70 or 75?
Whatever you score make sure you are among the highest from your state sha. They might even extend it to Geo political zone with how competitive it is.

If you answered the comprehension questions.... you will notice that most of them where asked based on the happenings in foreign countries.
Those were just basic comprehension that you are to answer base on ONLY the information or passage given. Doesn't matter if they are foreign. If the passage say Sky is green you click true even if it isn't.

Timing was the major issue, I started the math with 7 mins left. And the ui is poorly designed, I couldnt see how many questions left I couldnt jump questions easily. And that instruction button at the top of the screen, that u have to hover over, alot of pple would miss that
Exactly. I just use my knowledge of writing Workforce/Dragnet test and skip those instructions. Someone who have never encountered a similar test before wouldn't even understand what they are clicking.

I don't think o. Those questions were enough to cut down the number of people. They did another test for NCDMB because the questions leak and other technicalities like applicants having the whole day to write the test. This time people slated for 10 once its 11 they can't start the exam anymore, it clearly tells them they have passed the time.
