Did you type this due to the PTSD from the food shortage you guys suffered during the civil war?

This is Yoruba and we can handle our problems ourselves. Ojuku please face your region and leave us to face ours.
PoliticsRe: Differences Between Crude Oil From The South And Farm Produce From The North by Iegendhero: 7:01pm On Mar 01, 2021
arewaboy:
Crude oil from the South belong to the Federal Government while Agricultural products from the North belongs to the individual farmers of the North.

Nobody can force the farmers to sell their farm produce if they wish so, not even the might of Federal Government.

There's no basis for any comparison between the two. one is our collective national treasure while the other is an individual hard work.
Yes you’re right my brother.

I don’t think the Yorubas should take offense with how the Northerners chose to do with their farm produce. I am also happy that you guys have stopped bringing food down south. Please keep the tempo.

Yorubas don’t need any retaliation of any sort, that’s a lazy way of thinking. No need of blockading any petrol tankers or etc from getting to the North, that’s a lazy approach.

Sensible thinking Yorubas should now start investing in farming. It’s not necessarily we all waste time with conventional farming, there are other farming methods that can be employed with bigger yield and more control mechanism that can aid the supply of both foods and proteins.

Most of the basic source of food is grown in the SW. we have cassava, poultry, fishes, yams, and etc that can feed the population for the time being until we can match the tomatoes, beans, and other grains from the North side.

Even if it gets worse, we can import all these stuffs and I’m sure there will be little the customs controlled by the FG can do at the Western borders. Trust me when civil disobedience happens, the FG will be helpless, but that is the last resort honestly.

Bialegend:
[s]After ranting, go and take over customs and border security in your SW region. By the last time i checked, these fulanis are still in charge of all your SW border posts, both land, and sea. They closed up your land border for several months recently and you didn't do any shiaat. We Biafrans warned you for so many years, but you took us for granted because you were getting crumbs from the tables of your so called masters. Fight them off let's see how you can do it. We are watching. It's not about nairaland rant.
[/s]
I don’t need Biafrans input in this.

Banning of rice importation is different from this. That is a government policy and you have to respect the government. Blockading is a different approach and civil disobedience will be inevitable and those customs you think are securing those post won’t be able to handle revolt if need be.

Please Ojuku, face your own problems and let us sort our problems in our own way. Is this too much to ask?
PoliticsRe: DSS Invites Cattle Dealers Over Food Blockade Of South by Iegendhero:
Now is the time to be self sufficient.

Please DSS should never try to settle this thing because this is actually for the good. Let hunger kill anyone that can’t innovate and find better way to farm from the usual conventional way that generate low yield and affected by external factors.

Some of the other SW states can actually feed themselves, I think Lagos consumption is what is deceiving these Northerners to think they can ground the SW and use food as a tool against us.

The world is moving toward greenhouse system, better ranching systems, and etc. Farming is not only about conventional method and as intellectuals we should be able to show these Northerners that the world has changed.

Now is the time to act. Let Aboki do what he wants, we don’t even need to abuse them or banter with them. Let’s just rather focus on our own palaver and solve this issue once and for all.

If we can’t produce what we eat by ourselves then let us all die of hunger.

Didinrin lawon Northerners yi o.

How the bleep do you blockade a region with land and sea access for importation.

If you say the president controls the border, you will be foolish to think people won’t revolt against the government by civil disobedience to import those stuffs if you push them to the wall.

We have land and sea borders and a neighboring country that share the same blood as us so are these Northerners just foolish or almajiri lifestyle have eaten deep into their brain?

Because they are reasonable enough to kown that it is not 100% President's fault that those pupils are kidnapped, and aware that to govern isn't by any means easy, they rarely live on propaganda unlike the other party.
Then why is the OP crying that Tinubu should protest if you think Peter Obi/PDP not protesting then was because it’s not 100% Jonathan fault?

Then should we also say the kidnapping is not Buhari’s fault now? If so, why should Tinubu then protest and what is the essence of this thread?

Selective criticism is bad. None of you fake asslicking people protested when Peter Obi declined to go to the judicial panel of inquiry set up on the issue of Awkuzu massacre but you’ll all be online daily blaming Tinubu for every wrong.

What about Okorocha and Ogbonnaya Onu? Are they not also founding members of the APC? Why are they not protesting?

Why are you not calling them out? Is Tinubu the cause of your respective misfortunes?
PoliticsRe: This Is Tinubu During Jonathan's Tenure(pics) by Iegendhero:
Idiko1:
It existed and Tinubu foolishly protested against Goodluck Jonathan and PDP tenure. Now Tinubu could find no reason to protest against Buhari and APC at the backdrop of rash of abductions and kidnappings.
Why should Tinubu protest against his party by carrying placards in the open?

What will be his benefit? Is that how political party work? Even if he will protest against Buhari policies, must he do that in public when he can advise Buhari behind the scene provided Buhari will listen.

APC is a political party and not about Buhari alone. Politics is local, because Buhari is performing woefully in the national scene does not mean all APC elected officials in their respective capacities are useless.

So if Tinubu starts protesting against his party openly then that gives PDP the chance to take power easily so what will be Tinubu benefit after Buhari is gone and PDP takes the mantle?

The same reason why Tinubu will not protest against Buhari carrying placards is the same reason Peter Obi never protested during Jonathan regime against Chibok girls. So why the double standard from you Igbos?

The same reason why Abaribe will never protest against Ikpeazu the drunkard from Abia state who have left Abia to ruin. Why don’t you call Abaribe out instead of wasting unproductive time on Tinubu?

Why should Tinubu do the job of opposition when the PDP themselves are useless? Why can’t Peter Obi and Atiku lead the protest against Buhari policies?

Who stopped you from carrying your own poster.

Silly thread.
I’m telling you, it’s a silly thread.

PDP is one of the worst opposition a country can ever have.

When Jonathan was there, you saw how APC bloc coordinated several protests and put the government on hot seat with leading figures like Buhari, Tinubu, and etc going as far as protesting and carrying placards.

The reverse is the case for PDP, they left opposition to online influencers like FFK and Reno who only rant online without no much impact. If the likes of Atiku, Kwakwanso, Ekweremadu, Saraki, Wike, Peter Obi, and etc go out on the street and coordinate protest against some APC government policies, do you think Buhari will stop them from doing so?

But no, PDP will be waiting for Tinubu to protest against his party in public for them.

Rubbish party!

Peter Obi remains a saint even when is obvious of its involvement in Awkuzu killings. Tinubu investments was almost ruined that even some companies has to deny him because of its rumoured involvement in the Toll gate shooting, Can you spot the differenceshuh. No wonder Wike, Ortom and even Okowa don't want you and stop clinching. The only Igbo I can vote for is Kingsley Moghulu
You are 100% on point.

An average Igbo man don’t care about what happen to their leaders but concentrate all their effort in trying to solve other people political issue for them.

—Peter Obi supervised Awkuzu killings but Igbos don’t drag him both online and offline

—Peter Obi was invited to the judicial inquiry panel and he never showed up. Igbos never bothered and Psquare and other Igbo celebs don’t roar with protest because to them the life of an Igbo man is not worth those of others.

—Peter Obi used state money for his investment when he was governor, Yeebos called him economically sophisticated but if that happen to Tinubu or other politician then they are thieves in Igbo ideology.

—Wike dealt so hard with a majority tribe such as the Igbo in Oyigbo and yet we don’t see these guys dragging Peter Obi and their leaders for not speaking up openly against Wike even with well documented case of military maltreatment done to some of the women.

—Army invaded Orlu with one of their governors even admitting to invite the army, but the Igbos won’t bother to protest and Peter Obi won’t be compelled to speak as one of the leading figure in the SE.

—Let all of the above happen in the SW, you’ll see Yeebos dragging Tinubu to speak and bla bla bla all day online claiming they are fighting for injustice.

You won’t ever see them drag Peter Obi like they should online but they expect all Yorubas to drag Tinubu while hiding under some sort of moral police.
PoliticsRe: This Is Tinubu During Jonathan's Tenure(pics) by Iegendhero:
Why can’t Peter Obi, Atiku, and etc also carry placards and protest against the arrest of Kankara boys?

Can you show us where major PDP bigwigs, Peter Obi, SE governors are also carrying placards to support bring back our girls then?

If the above doesn’t exist, then why should Tinubu also protest against his party in the public?

Why is Okorocha and Ogbonnaya Onu also not protesting? Are they not among the founding members of APC? Why are you not calling them out?

Nnamdi Kanu's only interest in life is to break Nigeria. That is what the man sleeps, eats and drinks.

Anything that would help him achieve that is his main focus.

In recent times, he has realized that a united south against the north (particularly the fulani) is the only way to achieve it.

Ordinarily, i would rather he speaks less on anything that concerns the SW. But what do I know.

He is not against a Yoruba presidency if you understand his speech.

He said what’s best is restructuring but in the absent of that He will meet with those gunning for a Yoruba presidency and see what path to follow.

Makinde doesn’t have a reason to oppose a Yoruba presidency, I don’t see how that will benefit him except if he will be the Vice Presidential candidate in PDP.

For me also, I’ll prefer if they can restructure but you should always have a plan B if one fail. They have been shouting restructuring since God knows when and yet no result.

“May God protect those running around for presidency till 2022. By that time, we will meet and, by then, we will get to know whether it is restructured Nigeria or Yoruba presidency that we really need.”

How is religious liberalism going to stop boko haram from chopping una cone heads?

You will just accommodate boko haram and they will blend into your society and destroy you from the inside out.

Continue screaming "we are religious liberals". Let me tell you something... no one cares really.

If una like, don't take the warning from aisha. It seems like you yoruba hate new situations or tackling new problems.

And just because there are lots of christians and muslims who are yorua does not mean that you are religious liberals. Yorubas in kwarra have been burning churches anyhow.

The SE is christian dominated so islam is alien to us, so it will slower for the to tolerate islam.
Let me reply to you this last time for the sane one among you.

The issue of discourse is that the Muslims of the SW will be willing tools for Boko Haram to penetrate the west. That was why some of you guys are using the narrative of MURIC and etc.

Then I went ahead to tell you that the SW Muslims are one of the most liberal Muslims you can see out there and judging by the fact that they have lived peacefully with the Christian SW’ners through ages and blended, it will be hard for Boko Haram to sell their ideology in the West.

The Boko Haram issue is an ideology which was why it is hard to eradicate. How can you convince a Yoruba man that education is Haram and that Christians deserves to be butchered when our existence is deeply rooted in education and religious tolerance (Islam, Christianity, and Traditional)

How do you convince me as a Muslim to kill my Christian mom or burn my certificates because of some blood thirsty god?

You were conversing with your IPOB brain because you don’t even know the meaning of Religious liberalism and I’m sure it’s alien to the people of the SE coz most of you are religious bigots too. The only difference here is that you have not yet taken up arms.

I always feel sorry for people like you coz you can’t understand the feeling of being religious tolerant coz it’s alien to your culture, tribe, and existence.

Don’t bother replying me coz you’ve spent your time with me.

Have a good day!

Who ever told you that the west is the most peaceful region and what does liberalism have to do with terrorist penetration?
Below is the definition of Religious Liberalism from Wikipedia. Tell me which tribe in Nigeria exemplify religious liberalism more than the Yorubas.

Liberalism itself is an antidote to fundamentalism. When you are tolerant of other faiths, you won’t have any reason to terrorize them in the first place.

Which region is more peaceful than the SW? I want to learn.

Religious liberalism is a conception of religion (or of a particular religion) which emphasizes personal and group liberty and rationality. It is an attitude towards one's own religion (as opposed to criticism of religion from a secular position, and as opposed to criticism of a religion other than one's own) which contrasts with a traditionalist or orthodox approach, and it is directly opposed by trends of religious fundamentalism. It is related to religious liberty, which is the tolerance of different religious beliefs and practices, but not all promoters of religious liberty are in favor of religious liberalism, and vice versa.

It is logical that BOko Haram will find MURIC a very willing and cooperative partner. You can deceive and confuse your self all you want.
It is more logical that Boko Haram will find Igbo Muslims a very willing cooperative partner because they might think of expanding the religion there since they are always marginalized by the Igbo Chistains and Jews.

Moreso, IPOB can work hand in hand with Boko Haram in ammunition supply and distribution so as to continue their onslaught since both groups are terrorists.

There is a higher chance of Igbo Christian and Muslim terrorist than terrorism in the SW.

The Igbo Jews can work hand in hand with IPOB to blow mosques.

The Igbo Muslims can work hand in hand with IPOB to kill defenseless citizens.

The Igbo Christian can work hand in hand with IPOB to blow up mosques in the SE.

Now there are Muslims in Kuwait, UAE, Ghana, Togo, Oman, and etc, why are they not into terrorism since you think the Yorubas will support Boko Haram coz they are Muslims?

So IPOB are terrorist and Muric are not?

We said it, Yoruba Moslems and all Moslems are potential terrorists
IPOB is a terrorist organization with well documented atrocities.

They insigated violence as a group during the EndSars protest and we all see Kanu utterances.

IPOB went further to wreak havoc on harmless citizen in Rivers and proceeded to bomb church in the same state.

MURIC is just a one man organization that uses his pen to state his grievances and defend the Islamic faith just like CAN and the likes of Oyedepo and etc always do.

The Muslim Yorubas are far more tolerant than the Igbo Christians and that is a fact.

The Igbo Christians can’t even acknowledge their Muslim counterpart and we all saw how they lambasted BBC Igbo just because they greeted the Igbo Muslims happy Eid.

Again, the Muslim Yorubas are far far tolerant that Igbo Christians. Are you trying to debate that?
