Lol. How does the issue of discourse relate to Zombie?

It seems you just are all programmed to regurgitate useless words like damaged robot online even when it doesn’t relate to the topic.

Who is more prone to terrorism between the IPOB that blew up
Churches and Prof. Ishaq that just use pen to pass his message like CAN always do?

ishaq akintola and people like him will welcome them and house them.

All the need to do is tell him they will turn Friday to islamic public holiday
Ishaq Akintola is far better than the IPOB terrorists that blew up church in Rivers.

Rest assured that Prof. Ishaq is only standing up for Muslims just like CAN always do and I’m sure the Prof. himself won’t love to end his life unjustly by indulging in terrorism.

Prof. Ishaq even value life more than you!

It will be very difficult for them, by then every hausa man will become a suspect and the are easy to identify
Yeah it’ll be hard for them to have that kind of foothold down south coz they can be easily distinguished from the natives.

The only way they can penetrate the south is if they do that colluding with the natives and the Southerners I know enjoy life over death especially we the SW’ner.

I should now go and blow myself because I want to convert people to Islam or establish a caliphate when my own mother herself is a Christian and my dad brother is a deacon? When my gf herself is a Christian and Baba Awolesi my dad close friend is an Ifa worshiper.

Walahi it’ll just be double wahala for Boko Haramu!

It would be difficult for them to penetrate the two Christian dominated regions.. I don't know for SW
SW is more peaceful than other zone even with nearly 50/50% Muslim - Christian population.

So Boko Haram won’t be able to penetrate the more liberal and peaceful Muslim of the West let alone the whole West.

Blame legendhero. All our effort was in vain.
You guys always think I’m crazy.

Listen to this.

These guys were nabbed from when destroying things in Lagos and somehow they are all 98% non-Yoruba.

Both Igbo and SS included.

Now am I saying they are representing the Igbos? No, but when I talk I somehow know what I’m saying just that there is mob mentality on Nairaland where everyone shut you up if you give a different opinion from what they wanted.

To say again, most of the protesters and thugs hijacking the protest are actually Yorubas. But there are actually some other things that is not explanatory somehow somehow.

Check the comments, pressure is already building up and that was the reason why I was saying the Westerners need to calm down, retreat from protesting coz it’s a mixture of a lot of things and it’s more psychological.

When I said they should stop burning properties, Some people said I’m on Tinubu’s payroll, and they said the Youth should burn it all. What they forgot is that when they finish burning all Tinubu properties without nothing else to burn, they will turn back and start burning and looting other people properties which already started happening. Those celebs are hearing it now ask Yomi casual.

Ohaneze did well with that rebuttal of Kanu speech. What I expect is that statement should trend so as to sensitize everyone especially those guys with built in pressure.

But if I talk, you all claim I’m Fulani agent. Okay Continue to Dey looku.

You overestimate mate yourself dude. You are inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Innoson do not owe you any explanation. He has gotten it right already. He is manufacturing his cars in Nigeria!

What you have shown countless times is a confirmation that Innoson uses Chinese technology in his plant. That he was legally granted right by some Chinese and German companies to copy their car models and manufacture the exact same thing in his plant. The only thing he has done wrong so far in your book of ignorance is Technology Transfer. How dumb can you be.

Meanwhile continue to enjoy your second best status. Cheers grin
No you are lying. The only thing i established on this thread is that Innoson is importing Chinese parts and re-assembling them in his plant in Nnewi. After doing that, he then paint and paste his logo

Lol, I am not inconsequential, everyone just have their core competency.

This is just an exercise of setting record straight and I don't give a bleep about what you or Innoson think about this!

[s]You are telling blatant lies just to defend your goofs. All the news agencies including BBC news went on a fact finding tour and comfirmed that actual manufacturing is taking place in the IVM plant. Many agencies, private and public have gone and confirmed. Videos and photos fill the Internet yet you want to turn logic on its head by insisting that Innoson simply assemble parts that has already been manufactured in China.

You are pretending to be asleep oga, it is a futile exercise trying to wake you. The fact that you and many like you do not believe makes what Innoson is doing quite commendable. I am glad sensible people from your enclave is catching the car manufacturing fever. Innoson has shown that impossible is nothing.

Meanwhile continue to enjoy your second best status. We pioneer, you follow. No wahala but follow with respect.[/s] wink
Stop replying off key.

All this tantrums you are throwing is none of my business.

At least I have showed you countless proof that Innoson is assembling Chinese cars 100%.

I hope in the future he get it right and start reducing the percentage bit by bit just like I would sih the other African manufacturers parading Chinese cars as indigenous Auto.

[s]Stop disgracing your lineage this boy. You are simply confirming what we have been telling you all day long. Up till now you are yet to read up on rebagde engineering. Car models are intellectual property. You can legally copy but you must acknowledge the source of your technology. Even the Baic website confirmed that Innoson is producing a model of their car in Nigeria under his company's name.

Those prefix shows the code for models of cars indigenous to those country. Do Nigeria have an indigenous automobile industry before innoson? No! Every thing we had in the past has been foreign. If you are angry about Nigeria not having their own car model, start up your own company assemble engineers and get to work. Innoson is doing smart business, he does not need your half baked input.

The main question here is, having gotten the legal right to produce those models in Nigeria, do Innoson have a line that fabricate this exact replica from start to finish. If yes then you have no case. grin[/s]
You don't seems to learn. The answer to your last statement is NO.

And the likes of JAC will have their VIN manufactured in China because they actually did manufacture that. This is different from reverse Engineering because Innoson is Manufacturing nothing.

Everything he does is to import all the part and then do the usual stuffs of reassembling the cars, structural welding and painting.

Will he in the future manufacture for real? Probably.

But as he stand now he is just assembling Chinese cars with his own brand.

Read the below, do I need to open your brain and insert word into it?

Midas02: A lot of comments I see here shows how little we Nigerians know about how industries really work. As much as we claim to love cars, we really have no clue about the industry! Innoson (IVM) is nothing but an SKD assembly plant!! I do not want to take anything away from his efforts as an industrialist, but com'on guys, we need to start coming clean on issues rather than making deceitful claims - it is the first rule of international business! Innoson really does what any other third world aspiring investor would do - he went to China, struck a deal with an OEM manufacturer who is looking to expand their market (BAIC in this instance) and then proceeded to start a simple assembly process using SKDs (Semi-Knocked down parts) from the OEM (BAIC). This in a nutshell, is IVM's business model. Quite unfortunately, rather than look at facts, many of our fellow countrymen will keep propagating lies (because nah my broda from my village nah!), keep wallowing in ignorance and self-deceit! Innoson is doing what is needed to grow an industry and if he keeps having success, perhaps at some point in the far future, the company may actually have the funds and the (R& D) department needed to develop an indigenous product.! For now however, all we have is an assembly plant - one that is a great deal inferior to what PAN and VWON had been able to accomplish in the 70s and early 80s. And if you ask me why? Well, PAN and VWON were fully fledged assembly plants that were capable of a complete assembly processes (called CKD assembly). CKD (Completely Knocked Down parts) plants, unlike Semi-Knocked Down (SKD) plants, involves putting together hundreds of components and parts that came in bolts and nuts pieces which often includes structural welding and paint shop! SKD on the other hand is like a starters kit in which most of the components come pre-assembled and painted, you only need to couple the major components together to have a car! Again, CKD comes in pieces, while SKD comes in Component parts. The only thing that was missing from the former PAN and VWON operation in being able to completely manufacture was that there was no Sheet metal stamping, robotic welds, design department and (R& D) department! If you ask me, Nigeria was a lot more advanced in the 70s! Most of the auto manufacturers in Nigeria now simply do SKD and that is why they can get by with such small assembly plants! In finality, for the sake of the stubborn ones in our midst, I will break down the source of each of Innoson's car models for you - google is your friend!:

1. Innoson G80 is simply a locally assembled and rebadged BAIC BJ80
2. Innoson G40 again is a locally assembled and rebadged BAIC BJ40
3. Innoson G6 is a locally assembled & rebadged Zhongxing ZX Tiger SUV (an obscure Chinese manufacturer)
4. Innoson G5 is a locally assembled & rebadged Gonow Aoosed G5 (A subsidiary of GAC)
5. Innoson Granite is a locally assembled & rebadged Zhongxing ZX Terralord
6. Innoson Carrier is a locally assembled & rebadged Zhongxing ZX Tiger TUV
7. Innoson G20 is a locally assembled & rebadged Weiwang M20 (Weiwang is a subsidiary of BAIC)
8. Innoson Fox is a locally assembled & rebadged BAIC E150/E130 Hatchback
9. Innoson Umu is a locally assembled & rebadged BAIC E150/E130 Sedan
10. Innoson 6540 bus is basically a locally assembled & rebadged Foton View
11. Innoson 5000 Van is basically a locally assembled & rebadged Foton Alpha
* Note: Foton is yet another subsidiary of BAIC!

And there you have it - a complete and undiluted synopsis on the basis, origin and source of Innoson vehicles! IVM's much taunted automobile 'original manufacturing' claims are largely false! If anyone is still in doubt, google is your friend - please make use of it!

As I said, Innoson does assemble from SKD components - this makes them a local assembly plant by law! There is currently a Nigerian policy (Nigerian Automotive Industry development Plan (NAIDP)) that has been implemented since 2015 which now makes it attractive for Manufacturers and investors to set up small local SKD assembly plants. Innoson, like many others, is simply taking advantage of this. Although I refer to many of the models "locally assembled & rebadged", in reality many of them may not even assembled but may just be imported and marketed under the brand! I am not sure which ones are imported (I don't have the data) but from the pricing, I do suspect that both the G80 and the G40 are simply imported! The NAIDP policy allows and encourages local assembly manufacturers to import 2 vehicles for every vehicle assembled in Nigeria - for this, they get a reduced duty rate (35%) instead of (70%)! At N27 million, it is pretty obvious that the G80 is one of those ones imported!

In my opinion, it would have been better and more credible to simply be truthful and own up to the fact that as a young company, they have no proprietary technology and indeed can't be expected to have one for many years. Being an Assembly plant is good enough for many developed countries and I see no reason to lie!

Look at Mr. U.S up there, e don see people wey no sabi as things dey work for U.S. Why does he think products like these are not allowed in the U.S. Comparing Ford and Toyota, they make similar products but not the same thing with basically only changes to the badges.
A lot of those guys just argue sentimentally. I've had the Innoson information from the Chinese forum a long time ago but I chose not to say it because it is his hustle and at least he is trying. Then when Nord came, was on another thread claiming it is assembling and claiming Innoson is a manufacturer, I was like WTF.

So I had to show him that Innoson is just an assembler and his kinsmen have been running around wailing since.

BlindedIrony:
For that guy posting pictures of Chinese car brands and accusing Innonson of rebadging his cars, I want to make you aware of something you do not know about since you have never been to a developed country before.

Outside Nigeria- In developed international communities, there is something called General Mechanical Designs. These are designs of any mechanical structure that are open for anyone to copy and reproduce. They do not have PATENTS. Any engineering company can reproduce these designs. It does not mean they imported the mechanical structures and rebadge them. No!

Look at Toyoto trucks- Tundra and Tacoma designs, they look like Nissans and Fords. Here in the US, companies feed off each other's mechanical designs with little modifications to avoid lawsuits due to GENERAL MECHANICAL DESIGNS. The Chinese are well known for doing this. In fact, they are worst because they copy and reproduce every single mechanical design to its finest details.

On the other hand, Innonson does not import these cars. He follows General Mechanical Designs. Just like these Chinese knockoff American products or Americans knockoff each other's with little modifications to avoid lawsuits. So, Innonson is free to use the design as long as he can successfully reproduce it. That is the standard in the world.

There are other examples of this principle too. Your car batteries are the same design from different companies, aren't they? It does not mean one company imported and rebadged them. Nay, it is called General Mechanical Designs. All companies follow that. So before you open your stinking mouth to expose your rotten teeth in order to criticize a man whose companies give employment to jobless youths like you, travel outside Nigeria.

Besides, you are so pathetic. I cry for your soul. This is exactly why I left Nigeria. People like you scream about Nigerian unemployment rates, and people like Innonson provide employment by manufacturing cars; Instead, you turn around to bring him down. When he decides to move his company to Congo now, y'all will call him a traitor. slowpoke, go and park joor! Innonson and other Nigerian car manufacturers have come to stay. If I have to invest tens of thousands of dollars in Innonson to keep his company afloat, I would without a second thought!

Innonson had proven to me again that black man's reasoning capacity is equal to a European's. All my stay in the United States, everyone has been throwing to my face how Europeans did this or that. Innonson shows me he can copy and manufacture with ease just like the Chinese. His engineers are mostly Nigerians- Blacks like me manufacturing what Europeans think we could not. Of course, he has my support! You keep being a house nigga. The rest of us field niggas are fighting for total economic freedom and breaking out of these colonial master's chains called economic dependence.
Stop wailing.

You should have advised your kinsmen that attacked NORD in the first place. I only respond to their ignorance.

And no, Innoson is just like the other several African companies selling rebadged Chinese cars. They are completely different from the example you gave about Toyota and the likes.

He is basically replicating everything on the Chinese car 100% even down to the rims. Check the Interior of the cars, they are 100% thesame without any difference.

I am not saying he won't grow later coz people always start from somewhere, but I presented that 100% of the cars by Innoson are Chinese cars because our people try to badmouth the new guy on the block Ford.

Let me give you an example. All vehicles bear a VIN which identifies the country of manufacture. Even if it was manufactured in a different country different from the home country, the VIN will bear the identity of the country of manufacture.

At least if Innoson is doing General Mechanical design or anything you want to call it, it should have still carried the name of the manufacturing company as Nigeria. Why is it that all his car VIN are branded Manufactured in China?

Below is Innoson. Everything is Chinese.

[s]You are the complete illiterate here. Despite your acclaimed years of exposure, you keep making mockery of your education. You do not know the meaning of what you are using to mock Innoson. First go and read what rebadging means then come back and engage me.

For sane minds, Innoson as a start up car manufacturing company do not at the initial stage have the resources to invest in the highly capital intensive project of Research and development or modelling in the industry. He could not afford the trial and error which big companies like Ford, Mercedes, Volkswagen use in manufacturing new models of cars. Can innoson afford to recall 10000 cars at once and destroy it because of design error like we see often from big manufactures? He will fold up even before he starts. So as a smart business man, he went into partnership with a Chinese company whose models are trusted, in order to use their specification to manufacture something similar under his company name. By Innoson doing so, he achieved the following.

1. Reduced cost: No huge fund in R& D initially. Only small amount is spent on researching about smaller parts. He goes straight and manufactures without huge loss.

2. A model that is already a success: No trial and error in the market because people will love it.

3. Economics of scale. In a price sensitive market like Nigeria, he could at least compete with tokumbo cars.

Innoson builds his vehicle in Nnewi with a market trusted specification and a model which has 90% acceptance in the market. In essence he is legally leveraging on the more technically advanced R & D department of Baic or whoever he is in partnership with. Today he has established his own Innoson Academy and in the nearest future he will touch the sky.

This is quite different from importing CKD vehicles which was manufactured in China then reassemble them in Nigeria. There is enough video evidence on the internet to prove that actual manufacturing is taking place at Nnewi.
[/s]
Ogbeni all this one you are speaking is too much English.

In the dictionary: Rebadging means relaunch a product under a new name or logo.

That is exactly what Innoson is doing. He get the car parts in unit from China and relaunch them under his own name and logo.

The he call on people like Anambla son to snap photo and rush to Nairaland.

Imagine, ALL his vehicles are 100 % Chinese down to the rims.
Innoson plants
Ogbeni stop showing Chinese cars reassembling plant in Nnewi.

You better remember to tell Innoson my proposal, I have a Chinese car brand that he can re-bag and resell that will make him less dependent on government patronage and appeal to the Nigerian market.

Coz as of now, the government constitute 98% of the customers of Innoson.

Below is 2019, when the Nigeria army procure Proforce ARA (Thunder).

The Nigerian Army took four vehicles into service on 1 August at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre located at Asokoro, Abuja.

The ceremony was attended by Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff General Gabriel Olonisakin and Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, who said the vehicles would be used to fight terrorism and insurgency. Proforce delivered a single Ara to the Nigerian Army for trials, and this was purchased in 2017. Another eight were ordered, which were delivered in 2018.

“This is the third consignment that we are receiving consisting of the four Ara vehicles and we still have five more to be delivered soon as part of 2019 procurement,” Buratai said. “We have about 20 of this type of vehicles, although not of this standard but they have very good resistance and protection.

By the end of this month, we will also display them.” The Nigerian Army received five Aras at the beginning of March this year, three several weeks ago and another five at the beginning of July. These have been deployed to the country’s northeast to fight Boko Haram insurgents.

The latest version of the Ara was displayed during the Nigerian Army Day celebrations on 6 July. It features a monocoque hull (the previous Ara used a Tatra 2.30 TRK 4×4 truck chassis).

Development of the improved version began in January 2018 after feedback from the Nigerian military. With the capacity to carry up to 12 personnel plus equipment, the 15-ton Ara 2 can be configured into multiple variants including recovery, command and control, ambulance, field kitchen and reconnaissance. A 12.7 mm machine gun can be mounted on a roof turret which can be open or fully enclosed.

In addition to Nigeria, Proforce has sold the Ara to Chad, which finalised a contract for 20 units in June this year.

He imports the car parts at almost 0% import duty due to the law in place for part importation.

He assemble them and sell to the government at the normal price.

After which he will Call Amablason to come and snap photos and rush to Nairaland to shout made in Nigeria.
