Hi, could you kindly help me with a contact for Uniben transcript n its verification? Thanks
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 4 by IFEAGO: 6:50am On Jul 27, 2018
Uniben verification isn't so complicated, once they receive (usually 7 days after it is sent) it you will be asked to pay an official fee of N2,000 per credential at the bursary dept. You will be requested to choose between sending either by email, courier or both, you only get to pay for courier delivery, email is free. By the way, this happens when you do it yourself or a friend helps out. A contact in exams & records may demand for a 'thank you' fee. smiley Good luck.

Chief how much is the money and is it an official fee or something for the men?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 4 by IFEAGO: 7:30am On Jul 26, 2018
You’re welcome. I am not too sure if they will accept and approve your print out, but you can take it to the court. If they don’t have a template already, they will simply use yours as a guide in preparing it. Good luck.
balogunsam:
Thank you so much for the response. Do i make the affidavit wordings, type and print myself and just take it to the court for legal approval and all? Kindly advice.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 4 by IFEAGO: 7:16am On Jul 26, 2018
Hello, good to know attention is being paid to your application. A one and same person affidavit should take care of this, do you have other official documents bearing both names? For example; document 1: Ibukunoluwa, document 2: Ibukun Samuel. You can include in your letter of explanation and attach copies of the original documents alongside your one and same person affidavit. Best wishes and a swifter processing from here.
balogunsam:
My sister, update since April o. ADR for difference in marriage certificate name, mine.
Ibukunoluwa (first name only) on marriage certificate, Ibukun Samuel (shortened first name and my middle name) on EE profile
How do i resolve this one now? Do i swear an affidavit of "one and the same person" alone or what?
Kindly advice, edakun...so i can resolve today if possible.

Please advice ye elders

Hi, I don't think you need to worry about this. I used ONLY a reference letter from the bank and I got PPR. Best of luck.
funkYb:
Good evening everyone, Please I need clarification on this; for Proof of funds, I only used the letter I got from the bank which indicates my current and average balance for the past 6 months and showing that I have no debts with them. My worry is that I read majority of the PPR recipient on this forum included their statement of account. I didn't include my statement of account as I was thinking the first one will suffice. My question is, was I wrong not to have included the statement of account? Has anyone gotten PPR using only the letter they got from the bank as POF? Could this delay one's application or lead to ADR?. I will appreciate if anyone could throw more light on this for me. Thank you.

PEBC has received my wife's supporting documents and transcript, the only outstanding document is Licensing statement from PCN. She got a mail from PEBC asking for a certified copy of her birth certificate.

Did any of you submit a Birth Certificate? If yes, will a local government issued birth certificate suffice or must it be NPC issued?
Hello, I didn't use PEBC though. Did she notarise a copy of her int'l passport she sent? And did she send a notarized copy of marriage certificate and evidence of name change? If she didn't, I guess that's why they are asking for birth certificate (this is usually requested for to confirm previous name if name change documents are not sent). Let her notarise the birth certificate issued by a LG and send to them. See screenshot from PEBC website. Good luck!

Hello, your sibling or a friend can help you submit it, go to VFS website and download the consent form. Fill the appropriate portions and sign, add this to the package you're sending to your sibling. He/she can also pick it up on your behalf. Congrats once again!! smiley

DereI:
Hello all,

About passport submission, can a sibling submit my passport at vfs? I'll pick up myself after stamping. Who have done this?

Hello, seniors in the house can advise better but I think you both can proceed to have your medicals, your wife's x-ray may be deferred and done after she delivers. Then she can complete the x-ray and also add your baby to your application, for now you can apply with a POF for three and know only the x-ray for your wife and medicals for your baby will be left for completion. Check this link and form for more clarification in order not to lose the ITA, anyways, you have 90 days to apply. Wish you the best!
Crowndit:
Good morning good people. Congratulations to those who have received PPR and those who recently had an ITA.
Glory to God I received an ITA this week. However I need your advise on when to submit my application which is near set except for our medicals. My wife is due to have our daughter in July. The question is should I submit our application before she is born or wait till after she is born.
I will appreciate your suggestions.
Thanks

Please those who have successfully applied can weigh in on this.

Which of below 3 options is the best way to address job reference letter to. Option 1 is what is on the sample letter being shared on this forum but I suspect it may be wrong.

1) Centralized Intake Office,
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada,
Sydney,
Nova Scotia.

Congrats.

Seems your current work before applying didn’t require licensing? I am a pharmacist too and I’d like to know if I can use NOC 3131 with WES and lose only the professional points. Is there any other thing that may be at stake if I follow this path. Thanks.
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 4 by IFEAGO: 12:43pm On Jun 29, 2018
Thanks. Yes, my current occupation doesn't require licensing. It's not advisable to use WES ECA if your current occupation is NOC 3131. You will not only lose professional points, your application may be rejected because it will appear as misrepresentation (I stand to be corrected). Please see this link for more clarification. Your ECA should come from PEBC.

Okay, you can find it here by selecting the state where you want to get it notarized. The selection arrow is at the top right corner of the page. The price varies, depending on the state/location/notary public, I got mine in Port Harcourt for 5k.
Tojued:
Please I'm not finding the list on the website. Can you share? thanks in advance. Also how much did you pay.

Thanks a lot. It was signed, stamped and sealed, with name of the notary public. Wasn't quite sure if just any notary public can notarise but I got the one I used from Supreme Court website.
Tojued:
Congratulations.

please your notarisation, was it only signature or did they stamp/seal?
TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 4 by IFEAGO: 3:36pm On Jun 27, 2018
1. Got the gift a week before I fixed it, the fixed deposit account was opened a week before I submitted my application.

2. Evidence of transfer I used was the email alert from GTBank, I didn't submit statement of account. I also submitted a notarized gift deed.

Thank you. smiley
pepe1:
Congratulations and may the Maple land favour you and all yours.

Could you please give further details about your POF.

1) How close to your submission date did you get your gift deed and fixed deposit certificate?

2) When you mentioned "evidence of gift transfer". Did you include your SOA showing the transfer of the gift or you only used a Deed of gift?

Thank you and regards to your Super Woman.

It's PPR guys, see timeline below;

CRS: 463
ITA: Jan. 24, 2018
AOR: April 4, 2018
MEP: April 12, 2018
IP1: April 12, 2018
ADR: May 10, 2018 (for new passport, as previous passport was due for expiry in 9 months)
ADR Sent: May 18, 2018
IP2: June 21, 2018
Ghost Update: June 25, 2018
PPR: June 27, 2018
VO: Ottawa

Just a brief highlight:

POF - Gift Deed (64%), while a fixed deposit account was opened with the entire POF. I got a reference letter from GTBank (thanks to my account officer whom I have never met, I simply sent a mail to her requesting the letter in IRCC format) and then added it to the fixed deposit certificate, as well as evidence of gift transfer, and a reference letter and statement from my PFA.

ECA - I made a mistake earlier which turned out to be in my favour, did my ECA with WES in October 2017 and friends advised it should have been with PEBC, but coming here I learnt if my NOC wasn't 3131 then I'm good to go with WES. My advise to pharmacists with only BPharm degree, please use PEBC (irrespective of your NOC) to gain points for professional degree.

IELTS - As per IELTS, I didn't find it easy at all. Listening humbled me big time but in all I give thanks to God and my lovely wife for her unflinching encouragement, her question after every attempt was "so babe when are you registering again?" smiley, giving up was never part of our options. My attempts below;

Aug. 2017 - 1st Attempt: L6.5, R6.0, W6.5, S7.5
Sep. 2017 - 2nd Attempt: L7.5, R7.5, W7.0, S7.5
Oct. 2017 - 3rd Attempt: L7.0, R7.0, W7.0, S7.5
Dec. 2017 - 4th Attempt: L7.0, R7.0, W7.0, S8.0
Jan. 2018 - 5th Attempt: L9.0, R7.0, W7.0, S8.0

Special salute to @GlitteringStar, @Newmum0615, @Ethelia, @mcstan18 and other e-folks here for the amazing and altruistic assistance you guys are rendering. It will surely end in praise for all!
