Good morning, my people.

I am applying for a UK visa, and I made a mistake in the application. I have not gone for biometrics. I want to cancel the application and re-apply for it again. Will I get a refund of the previous visa fee?

Who has experience of this that can share his/her experience?

My mum did her biometrics on 9th May and she received her collection mail today, is this a sign of visa approval? She is a first time UK visit visa applicant.

Hello people, I just applied for Visitors Visa for my mother,the application is still with HMRC. The problem is that in the application I wrote that she will spend one month in UK, My questions:

1. is it possible for her to spend more than one month in UK?
2. Is there anything I can do right now to extend the one month I wrote on the application?

I got the NSF and additional documents mail the second time, one was last week and I replied yesterday and today I got same mail of last week does it mean they did not receive the mail I sent or should I i reply with same email I sent yesterday.

I have switched from Tier 4 to Tier 2. My spouse and children are still in Nigeria and I wanted to apply for them. My personal POF is £1,270 which is in my personal account while my spouse + children(2) POF is 800

1. will the dependent POF be £800 only OR £1,270 (MA) + £800 dependants (spouse + 2 children)?

2. Since my VISA is out can I still use the same account (my account above with £1,270) for there POF?

Good morning gurus in the house, I am an international student, just finish in January and have gotten a job with COS to start in February. I have few questions:

1. My sponsor wrote N for my maintenance fee but after talking to them, they now amend my COS and write in the sponsors note that 'maintenance for migrant Yes'. I hope if I tick Yes in the column for maintenance, it will not be an issue with the ECO.

2. With the YES in the maintenance do I still need to provide POF for my dependants (wife and children)?

3. I noticed that when I filled the VISA form and make payments I did not get GWF number but UAN number, though my Bio is in next week, I hope I am still on track?

4. Can I proceed with application for my wife and children in Nigeria now or I should wait till my VISA is out?

I applied for student dependent visa since 28th Nov, I made a paid call after 15 working days and it was escalated. I got my passport this morning with vignette. No BRP.
But I am confused because of what was written on it.

Valid from: 26/12/2022
Valid until: 27/12/2022

My spouse will finish his course 31st January 2023 and his VISA is still valid till 30/05/2022.

What am I suppose to do .

Try and treat malaria before you go, you may not need antimalarial drugs when you get there. You will need to take along antibiotics becos it is not readily available over there. I don't think immigration will disturb you.

Yes you will receive collection mail from TLS with a tracking number. You can use the tracking number to track your visa.

After you escalated did you get any mail asides this? I escalated today cos I did my biometrics since Dec 5th, yet nothing from them.

After I call and it was escalated on Friday, I only got escalation mail this morning which also state that decision has been made and that it has moved to VAC.

I applied for dependent visa and did biometrics on 28 Nov Ikeja TLS. No NSF mail and nothing tl I made a paid call last week Friday i.e 23rd Dec. No decision was made and the lady said she will escalate it. This morning I received an escalation email that decision has been made and I track the documents it has moved to VAC..

Should I be worried?

If a visa is denied when will that person received refusal email?

Sincerely I am worried.

If you live within Lagos, you can try your luck but if you live outside of Lagos, wait till you receive collection mail so you don't waste your time and energy.

had NSF 7th dec

responded to NSF 8th dec

did a paid mail 12th dec, no decision made

did a paid email 19th dec no decision made
