Atheism has never been an invention. Its just a mindset that doesn't rely on help from the unknown. Some people think Charles Darwin invented Atheism,which is not true. Atheism came first before any form of religion. Atheism will be the last man standing,it has no beginning nor end. God has a beginning and definitely an end.

Atheism doesn't have its roots in modern science. It is way older than today's science.

The term 'atheist' means a person doesn't believe in God. Aside from that, everything else is up for grabs.

Plato himself wrote about the ancient city called "Atlantis" and how it was destroyed. The Vedas also backed this story up.

Guys like Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da vinci who were born while Christianity was at its peak were very sure the God ideology was fictional and a means of control.

It only takes a 7 km diameter comet to collide with earth to prove that the human intelligence which you give too much credit isn't that much of an advantage over monkeys. Presently though, there is simply no evidence in support of your claim that monkeys are likely to go into extinction if they don't develop human-like brains. This is just an opinion. Humans and many species of monkeys are marked as LEAST CONCERN species by the IUCN, a body I'm willing to wager knows far more about extinction trends than you and I. In fact, many creatures presently thrive better than humans without any brains at all.
