Please, still on the NYSC experience. Corps members are paid for 12 months, but they serve for 11 months(including orientation camp). Will one claim 12months or 11months with NYSC?
Secondly, some states pay corps members monthly allowance, can one include it on the reference letter or LOE. (The state allowance is reflected on the NYSC account) Claim 12 months, that one month is akin to an annual leave. Explain in the LOE 10 Likes 3 Shares |

SonsOfLiverpool: Hi lady, Thanks for your response. In addition, do you have a site or a thread where I can read and understand this stuff? Like the overall immigration thing in details? I have no idea how to get ECA (I just googled it now to even know the meaning). Sorry if I bother you thanks I appreciate. Start from page 1 of this thread. Just click the link below; https://www.nairaland.com/5187408/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilledDon't be in a rush, give yourself two weeks of reading and digesting. If you're all over the place, you'll get confused. I promise, at the end of the two weeks of reading you'll get clarity. SonsOfLiverpool: Please what does this mean? After the first pic, I chose Quebec though I have no idea why I did then I got the message in the second pic. How does the eligibility calculator works? Am I missing something? Quebec has its own different immigration process. If you choose it, you'll have issues. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Plaitex: Hello house. Please i need a clarification. I have gone through alot of threads but it still isn't clear.
My spouse is going to be the PA with LOC 2131, 4 years work experience with ND, HND and BSC and will be 32 this month. My questions goes thus:
1. I understand that doing my ECA will add to his points. Now, do I have to create my ECA acct seperately where I would be required to pay 220CAD and then go through the process of WES which will cost approx 23,00 and 82,600 in total... And then he he would also go through same procedure spending same amount? Ie in total we shall both be spending close to 165k for ECA alone.
Now this is not inclusive of transcript for both of us.
So please, am confused as we are talking about 200k here. Do we have to spend this much on ECA alone.
Your responses will be highly appreciated. Yep! Infact the cost is more than 200k. Don't forget WAEC costs for both of you at 28k each and then add verification costs. This journey is expensive as heck but it's worth it in the end 5 Likes |

I think wedding pictures, invitation card and family pictures and an LOE stating you only had church wedding and no court wedding will suffice. I would have said going to court to get form E, but it will carry 2019 date and I don't know if it will fly. Please @Topsm.amen, @Ife.oma77 @ladym.arshall please what are your opinions. bbpin: Thanks so much for your contributions @Topsm.amen, @Ifeo.ma77 @ladym.arshall please what are your opinions
Pictures and wedding invitation will work. Have you changed your name? If yes, the change of name publication should be added. You should also share your social media handles in the LOE so they can verify your relationship (i.e. if you share your relationship on social media). Finally, you should add anything that shows you two share an address, it could be bills or bank statements or even the addresses on your driver's licenses. Any joint accounts or investments? Property bought together? 6 Likes 5 Shares |

Trevor83: Good morning all, I’m new here, I don’t even know how to post properly. I hope this works. This is my predicament, I applied for PR in Feb, 2018 through an agency (Canadian agency), they handled my application and had total control of my profile. I was in communication with them via email and phone to follow up on my application. Unfortunately I was never informed of the passport request that was said to have been sent for the issuance of my visa. I was only made aware of this letter when another letter was sent stating that my application was canceled because I never responded to the passport request email. There excuse was that they never got an email notification and when they eventually saw the letter the deadline for submission has passed. They claimed they submitted CSE to request an extension, meanwhile I was never notified of all these developments until the rejection letter was sent. I have written directly to CIC detailing what happened and asking them to pls reopen my application. The application was made 2 months ago up till now I haven’t heard from them. The GURUS in the house what do you suggest I do Pls house treat as VERY URGENT. Thanks. Contact Ralph or any of the MPs ASAP. So sorry about this. |

johnnybravo1990: I just got an ADR(Additional Document Request).
1. I need to provide pay slips and bank account statement statements highlighting salary deposited of 3 places I have worked for. I know I can easily get payslips of only two of these places which are private establishments in the city where I currently live; these two places can even make up for 3 years of experience already. Should I bother trying to get the payslips for the third place which is a large federal institution, knowing I will have to travel for this, and there will be plenty bureaucracy involved along with monetary expenses that will be incurred?
For the pay slips, do I need to get for all the months I worked, or just a few, say 6months?
2. I’m seeing something like Schedule A Background Declaration form(IMM5696). Abeg how they do that one? Where do I get the forms
3. Also there is Additional Family Information Form(IMM5646). What do I do here? Where do I get the forms also?
Please your advice is needed urgently. Sounds a lot like the handwork of AVO. In any case, PPR is close 1. Get the payslips you can get and put in LOE for the one you can't but ensure you get the bank statement for that one. Of you can, get for the full duration of work (bank statement and payslips), if it won't be possible to get all the payslips, six months is a pretty good number. 2&3. Topsmame.n has already provided this. I just want to add; ensure you access your e-Apr forms first before filling the forms. Make sure the details are an exact replica of each other. 4. Most importantly, start drafting the PPR announcement 13 Likes 6 Shares |

psalmizt: I will definitely come here to give my PPR story. But for now my story is that of nomination and successful AOR. I believe when we thank God for little mercies, we invariably invoke greater successes. I have been accused of writing too much English in times past so I'll just be brief pending the time the real gbemu comes.
My journey actually started in 2012 but back then I was hell bent on furthering my education. One thing led to another and in the end i abandoned the plans of travelling out until 2016/2017 when a friend convinced me to look into Express Entry. And so my journey started in 2018, WES, IELTS 1st attempt (8/8/8/6.5), remark, IELTS 2nd attempt (8.5/9/8/6.5), remark. At both attempts my writing was 6.5. After the second EOR, it was upgraded to 7 and that was how I said goodbye to IELTS. I waited and waited in the pool with a CRS of 425 and after my birthday in February that score dropped to 416. Seeing my chance for ITA literally disappear before my very before I started making arrangements for masters programme. I contacted UNICAF, paid the application fee but stepped back when they couldn't assure me that WES recognises their programme. I attempted the GMAT route with not much success as my result wasnt good enough for major scholarships. The last attempt at schooling was reopening my previous application to a Greek school for MBA. I was asked to pay the application fee and then wait for an interview.
While I was going through all these plethora of options- A, B, C, D- I got a strange mail on the 26th of March this year. It was a do not reply mail, I had seen that before on a friends phone but I was completely clueless about it. At this time, my profile had less than 3 months to go and to be honest I had practically logged off from this Cannyland dream. As I put it back then, I was just waiting to fall on my sword. So I opened my Express entry and behold a notification of interest from Alberta. It was perhaps the best piece of news I had gotten. And so from the 27th of March when I got that mail it was clock work for me. I had to respond quick and fast. I had no letter of reference so needed to reach out to everyone. It took quite a while, 2 weeks actually. The most delay was with my bank because they were struggling to reopen one of my account and to also spool records from 2011. I eventually submitted my application on the 9th of April. Remember this was a race against time.
In order to better manage this uncertainty I joined Canada visa forum and later Nairaland. A good friend here shared a WhatsApp group with me and that really helped in calming my anxiety. So my file got delivered on 12th of April and then the silence began. In time past people got file number in 2days, it was when it got to my turn the count went up. Day 1 to 17 was torture. All kinds of thoughts until April 30th when I saw the file number. Mehn, i was ecstatic. So hurdle 2 crossed. With July 1, the day my profile will expire, increasingly nigh, I entered prayer mode ooo. It took 28 days for me to eventually get the holy grail of all men with CRS less than 450. Alas the nomination was here. Before I knew, everything became a rush, ITA the next day because I now had 1016, PCC afterwards, digital photograph at studio 24 and medicals at IOM.
And now with AOR of June 4, I can only say thank you Lord for this journey which you have started. Only you can finish it. I just want everyone to know that nothing is impossible. A friend that we started journey together eventually got NOI from Ontario. Efam, please don't lose hope. Put in motion every plan and hope for the best. I forgot to mention that I eventually got admission for my MBA 2weeks before the nomination. A part of me still wanted to go but the tuition fee will wipe out my entire POF and will still need to borrow. I decided to put that on hold and pursue this Canada dream.
As a sign of gratitude to God Almighty, I am more than open to answer any question relating to Alberta's Immigration Nominee Program which basically gave me a chance to continue this dream of mine. Apologies for the length of my post. My PPR story go long pass this one. Stay tuned
Wow!! You are really favoured. Abeg abandon the Greek MBA. Canny awaits you with open arms. Congratulations 9 Likes 2 Shares |

If the standard dished out to Nigerians by ielts, is the same for every country, then I doubt if any Asian would go to Australia, where you need to get 8,8,8,8.
