@ife.oma77 @ral.phruz @just.wise @j.oo8
please can someone send me the link for Naija October 2018 AOR. group. My AOR is October 31 and it's been silence from IRCC since MEP and the second welcome to Canada letter. Got to know Eligibility was Met since January
from my calls to IRCC[

You might have to go back to whichever thread was running during October and read that section. Then pm whoever announced that they were setting up a group at the time.
October 2018 should be part 5

@Tops.mamen @joo2.018, So I was thinking because of the peculiarity surrounding EE applications being processed in Accra we could have a compilation of the already approved applications (if possible on Page 1) that were processed there so that every future applicants that suddenly found themselves their files in Accra can browse through so as to pick one or two lessons or hopes from their timeline/PPR stories. I can tell you it sure helped us alot in the WhatsApp group when certain researchers gave us insight about what's obtainable about how AVO handled all classes of Visa Applications round the year.

cc: @Mcs.tan, @Ifeom.a77, @ralph.rulz and other Admins
Good idea but would this be all AVO applications or just those sent there for special cases. AVO gets some applications from just work redistribution

Please i need advice...l am the primary applicant and my husband will be migrating with me. We have a child together(1 yr old),he also has a child outside wedlock(9 yrs ago) and the child has been staying with my mother in law. Our marriage is 3yrs old.
Now my questions
1)Can we apply for him to go with us as a dependant?
2)How many dependants do I have if he is not going with us?
3)Will there be an issue if i claim him as a dependant as he has been staying with my mother inlaw?
1. Absofreakinglutely
2. One spouse and two dependants, because he is definitely going.
3. There will be issue if you don't claim him. IRCC said you should list ALL family members - whether they're full, adopted, half, step or elevator. So it's really not up to you to choose him or not, if bomboy is not listed, it's misrepresentation.

please use a federal marriage registry certificate. it is stated someone on their website, play it safe.
Some have used even niqqa certificate from small family mosques and IRCC accepted it. I mean they even accept common law partners, belente the one that wore wedding gown and went to church.

Is the new address in another State?

Hi guys Please I have a question
I'm little confused. While filling the form, I came across this question; "Have you, and if applicable, your family members taken any trips outside their country of origin or of residence in the last ten years." I have not taken any international trips but my husband(PA) has. Should I say no (for me) or Yes (for husband). Husband's travel details will be mentioned in his section why do I have to also mention it in my section.
2. Under personal history do I have to list my undergraduate internship, the mandatory 6 months internship we do during 2nd semester of our 3rd/4th year in the uni.
The bolded is why you must repeat the same answers in both histories. So the answer - in both sections - is 'Yes'

2. If the internship happened within the last 10 years, yes you have to list it

Please I am trying to fill the WES online application.

I had to retake WAEC in another school for a duration of 1year now my question is i want to know if this duration(which I am expected to insert) will not affect my application knowingfully well that secondary school education is supposed to be for a period of 6years.

Thank you.
It's not a problem. Besides, you can still use the first WAEC you took, WES doesn't care about your grades

AOR june 1st 2018.
Refusal, April 22nd 2019.

2.Yes i submitted my siblings PR card and utility bills. i didnt submit the bio-data of my siblings passport or bank statement.
3. we both mentioned each other in our PR applications.

I'm really sorry about your situation. The first thing you should do is order GCMS notes, that way you'll know the exact thoughts of the VO and so know how to channel your appeal/new application.
Sending you hugs

Kindly advise please.

I have a sibling I claimed 15 points from who is a PR in Canada but we do not have the same surname.

My sibling mentioned me in her application and I am doing same now.

I am attaching the NON-NPC birth certificate issued at the hospital. Do you think I should get the Attestation of birth and attach both?

My sibling is married and I would be staying with her for the first few months while my fsmiky would join after I am settled.

I am already scared of this rejectionni just read. Please help out.
You're good to go. This particular argument involves NPC, yours is from the hospital which is the actual birth certificate.

topeolu1:
Don't try it!
The only acceptable proof of birth and familial relationship from NPC, depending on your age is attestation of birth.
They are not using NPC documents

Please help clarify fam. If filling additional forms after adding spouse post COPR, is it okay to continue with my maiden name? E.g additional family information form.

NB - I haven't changed my name via newspaper publication yet. Pls at what point is a change of name required or recommended? Pre or post landing?

cc @ifeo.ma77

There is no point at which change of name is required. You can live with your maiden name for the rest of your life.
When filling the forms, continue with your maiden name. As long as you've not done the change legally, continue to fill your maiden name (actually it's your only name for now)
As for recommended, anytime that is most convenient for you would be the recommendation. If you have limited time, then wait till you get to Canada and do the change of name when the time to renew your passport comes around.
If you still have lots of time in Nigeria, then do it before leaving but bear in mind that you will need to do a new passport bearing the new name

My transcript has been delivered to them by my school since 27th February yet no communication.

What to do?

Secondly,
I'm seriously considering WES.

Will WES accept if I only post a copy of my GCE certificate and a Scratch card to them?
Trying to avoid the WAEC office wahala.

Thanks

Hello All
Thank you for painstakingly explaining the processes involved . Hubby just finally agreed to commence the express entry process yesterday as he was vehemently against it ,However see my profile below
Married ,age -29 hubby-37
Degree - PgCert UK; hubby -MSc Uk
Hubby brother also moving to Canada soon as well as he’s gotten his PR
When I took the CRS -
Me as PA-498; Hubby as PA -450 all of these with the provisos that we get min of 8 in each of the IELTS categories and also with a blood relative with a PR

Now my questions are do I go ahead and submit my degree for ECA without the Nigeria BSC because I didn’t see that category listed in WES website or do I process my Nigeria BSC alongside as well

Also whilst we are expecting some funds by the end of the month, are there other things we should do other than pray and prepare for the IELTS exams
You need to submit with your Nigerian BSc so you'll get two or more certificates. Your hubby can submit only his Masters.

It's PPR ladies and gentle men. All thanks to God Almighty.

My journey to cannyland started in 2016, wrote ielts but couldn't get the required scores. So I decided to seek for admission which I got in 2017 but was denied study visa thrice. In the process of applying to schools in US to study my desired course, we got nominated in 2018 by Saskatchewan, this pnp app was almost a year, done in 2017, so it came as a blessing.

Wrote ielts 2ce, spouse wrote after nomination because ielts was expired after nom.

I have been smiling since I received the mail. I prayed to God for this PPR this week and believed that before the end of this week I'll receive it..

I always come to this forum to read and seek for ppr stories, this has always given me hope and made my faith strong.

I pray that everyone who is seeking for ppr will get it.

Love u guys.

"The Association of Shekere Shakers Union (ASSU) commenced a national indefinite strike over the refusal of the Federal Government to meet their demands. Speaking to journalists at the solidarity march, the publicity secretary described the negligence of the current government as criminal and crass irresponsibility.
Members of the Union decried the lack of basic infrastructure such as soft landing ground and bigger shekeres while also lamenting the long months of owed salary. The National president of ASSU has insisted that the Executives of the Union will not relent until their full demands are met.

When contacted by this correspondent, the minister of shekere labour - Ifeoma.77 - had no comments"

I sure missed a whole lot of characters here e.g @ifeo.ma77, Ladyma.rshal and many more.

My quick question, my spouse intends to evaluate his credentials. He studied Business Admin OND
Marketing HND
Business Adm BSC

Please which evaluating body is best to use?

Thank you all in anticipation

WES or IQAS

I intend to do a court wedding and add my spouse after AOR (as I was advised to do, on this platform).

Please, when I do this, what documents of hers are we to collate and submit?

I am asking because I would like to start paying for the ones I can pay for now and searching for the ones we can search for - the earlier the better.

Thanks
Almost everything you submitted for yourself too. Medicals, PCC, passport, digital photo, forms forms form etc. Nothing that takes too long to get, so just chill
