Certification And Training Adverts › Re: CCTV and Electric Fence Training - 2020 in Lekki, Lagos by Ifiegboria(m): 12:38am On Sep 01, 2016 |
tangolistic: Hello my fellow Nairalanders, I am not here to spoil anybody's business on CCTV Training but I have purposely come to enlighten people going for the training to carefully choose which company or training school they choose to have their programme done.
They should not go for a crash or peripheral programme as many callous companies are outside now organizing this so called CCTV Installation Training for 3, 4 , 5 or 7 days in order to siphon the innocent Nigerians their hard-earned money simply because Nigeria is going harder in the economy.
The truth of the matter is you can't really learn the in-depth of CCTV Installation in just 3 or 7 days. Just imagine you finished in tertiary institution as a biologist and you are now asked to come and configure Cisco management switch for VLAN in the I.T sector without any background knowledge of Networking or in I.T, you can now see that before you can be able to configure VLAN on Cisco management switch, you surely need to undergo the prerequisite which could take days.
CCTV Installation is not so difficult though but at the same time, it is not so easy to damble into without having a requirement.
Like I have said earlier, I am not here to discourage you, try to go for the training that has duration of atleast 1month even though you need like 3 months to be a true professional.
CCTV Installation is a branch of Information Technology
First thing you learn is the terms and definitions/meanings which could also take atleast 2-3 days to be able to cover the indepth.
After that you go into all the tools that are being used in the installation and maintenance and it must be hand on, now imagine the trainee are 30 numbers, will you be able to finish this in 3 days? because you must know how to use all tools which means you must lay your hand on all the tools.
You are expected to know the concept of camera image sensor and lenses because that is what you will be working with most of the time
You must have in-dept knowledge on Analog CCTV, AHD, HD-SDI, HD-CVI, HD-TVI and I.P Camera system
I.P Camera demands more time and concentrations as it deals with TCP/IP as a backbone to work meaning that you must be familiar with computer networking, and the knowledge of VLAN will be required if you are deploying the solution on an existing network infrastructure because you will not want to bring the entire company's computer network down to zero as I.P CCTV pull high bandwidth, so this is why you need to segregate your I.P CCTV by creating a VLAN on the existing network.
Another thing is the internet remote view and probably integrating your CCTV surveillance to NAS (Network Attached Storage) to be able to have redundant video files as backup should incase the DVR or NVR is being stolen by the big brothers
I have not come to market myself or advertise my company, I just felt I should speak my sincere mind as many people have already decided to choose this career path, I only want you to be unique, excel and to really count yourself as a professional.
Thank you. Where is your address in Lag. Do you have branches in other states? Respond swiftly |

kkokoma: I think a person can be sponsored for a visit visa, but it all depends on the situation of the sponsor in Canada. The person being sponsored will probably also be evaluated like any other applicants, for things like travel history, home ties, etc. Thank u. I appreciate your prompt response |

kkokoma: Read through the previous posts, everything you need has already been said Thank you for your prompt resonse. Can you also react to this issue that a person can't be sponsored on a visit visa? I have heard people especially the aged travel to see their relatives in CA, Does that mean they sponsor themselves? I think they are not the Principal Applicanst but dependants. Note: these relatives have PR, working, and have the finance for the trip. Thank u |

Bostin: You can't be sponsor for visit/tourism visa, you also need strong home ties. 90days wait after a refusal not to look desperate to travel and get denied again. @Bostin, are you saying one can't be sponsored for a Visitor's Visa? What if the sponsor has a PR and the financial power to do it? What if he's your host too? Please respond. Thank u |

Thank you all for the good job here. 1. As a first-time applicant with a virgin passport, what are my chances of getting CA visa? 2. The person inviting me is also my sponsor, he just asked me to go the Embassy with my passport and the documents he sent to me. Is it suppose to be so? Won't I submit any of my personal documents like Birth Certicate at least? Please respond accordingly and if there are other things I need to know, u may enlighten me the more. THANK YOU |

Visa guru in the house, well done. After making all the payment: visa fee/biometric, are there other surcharges? Assuming I got to the Embassy say by 9am, will it be possible for me to submit my application, do biometric and still finish/leave by 12pm? How long does it take to do all these processes? I still hope to pay for courier too that same day. General advice is also Welcomed. NOTE: its for me and my aged mother
Thanks for all ur responses so far. God bless you all. |

kkokoma: Still does not matter. I just returned from Canada, someone sent me an invite too. You either apply online or download the application forms, fill and print, then take to VFS to submit and do Biometric. No Interview is done, just read through the previous posts, everything you need is there Can one submit the forms and still do Biometrics same day? Since no interview is done as u said, do I have to book an appointment with the embassy or just go there any day to submit d forms? Thanks for ur response so far |

Hello guys, You re doing a good job here. I have been following this thread for awhile now and its really enlightening. I have some inquiries to make. A relation of mine wants to send my aged mum and I invitation to CA. We don't have any travel history. I don't have a govt job. I have heard of Visa Interview, what is it like? Is there dress code? Is there any document I should submit? What about "Home Ties"? I just want to accompany my aged mama for a visit and I hope to return Note: I don't have any Visa experience. You may touch some other important areas I forgot to ask/mention. Quote me please. Thank you |
