This is why Jesus Christ said of John that the least in the Kingdom of God, of which John does not even belong to, is greater than John. Those of us of God's New Covenant are greater than those of them of the Old Covenant - the Old Covenant people were not promised the Kingdom of God aka Heaven in the Old Covenant.

For eg, a President chief of staff is Greater than any minister.

What I want to let you know is that Jesus is more than a Prophet. But if you call him a prophet you are not wrong and neither are you entirely right.

According to Jesus, "John the Baptist is the Greatest Prophet ever.". Now assuming Jesus was an ordinary prophet just like John, Elijah, Elisha etc... He will probably had said he was the greatest Prophet or he won't have said anything to that effect.

Remember, even John proclaim Jesus is greater than him cause Jesus came before him. So if Jesus was only a Prophet, it will make sense that John should be greater than Jesus since even Jesus himself said John was the greatest prophet.

Secondly, Yes, Jesus is indeed a Messenger from God. Jesus being a messenger from God doesn't mean he isn't the Son of God.

Now I'll explain something to you. ... In one of Jesus Parable, he talks about a Man who lease out his vineyard ... Then when the time for harvest came he sent his servants to collect, but those servants were killed. Some beaten and disgrace. Till he sent his Son then the People said, 'This is the heir, let's kill him and everything will be ours' and so, they killed him.

Now if you understand that verse or parable very well... You will see that the Harvest is the people of Isreal. The men told or given the vineyard to till are the scribes, religious leaders etc. The Servants are the Prophets and we know some of them Isreal killed, some Isreal disgrace etc. Then the Son is Jesus Christ who as we know was Crucified on the cross.

What I'm trying to say is that if Jesus was only a Prophet, I'm pretty sure he would have joined himself with the servants that was sent. But instead he distinguishes himself by not adding himself to the servants(Prophet mix).

Nevertheless, just like those Servants ( Prophets) he himself is a messenger because he was sent by his Father with a message to the people.

If you want to know who Jesus truly is, look at his parable. Try to understand what they mean.


Now let's also go forward to say, at no time ever is Jesus Christ God almighty... Jesus is a Son of God only. And just like a son of a Lion is a Lion that's how Jesus is God but he isn't comparable to God Almighty.
Check the book of Revelation to understand more. For eg, Jesus uses the attribute of God in numerous places there. Even called himself Alpha and Omega. They're numerous places in the book of Revelation that emphasize the difference between Jesus and God.

But one thing is sure, Jesus is not just a prophet.

For instance when he asked the Disciples who do people say I am? They gave varying answers. Including a Prophet. If Jesus was a prophet, he would have told them, they're right he is just a prophet but no, he didn't until Simon Peter was divinely inspired to say 'He is Christ, the Son of the Living God's

Know this, no prophet ever has been called the First born of all Creations. No prophet ever have been spoken of in Micah 5:2. That was God talking about Jesus.

One of King David's Revelation to about Jesus tells us that.

In essence, as much as Jesus is the son of God, he is also a messenger from God.

I know a young Man currently finishing his house with about 2 million naira. He's not building something extravagant. Infact na just roofing remain. Him done almost finish everything.

I'm planning also in the near future by God Grace to build something like a 3 -4 bedroom too. My budget will be about 4million or 4.5M. not exceeding.
