Under Buhari/APC, Nigeria is almost a failed state.

No jobs for Nigerians
No electricity (national grid collapses daily)
No petrol, every week is scarcity
Diesel sell at all time high
ASUU has been on strike they don't care
No security anywhere in Nigeria right now!
Naira is at all time low, 614 to $1, ah haba na
Kindapping, killing and robbery is now a norm

Politics / 10 Reasons Why I Will Not Be Voting Tinubu by ifiokjohn(m): 7:58pm On Jul 06, 2022
I know when I'm finished with listing my reasons why I won't be voting Tinubu many of you here will call me Igbo, Ipob, etc.
That's you guys business...for the record I'm from Akwa ibom state, Abak local Government precisely.

First of all, you should all know I'm a detribalised Nigerian. I'm part of those who campaigned for buhari in 2015 even though I wasn't of age of voting then but still I knew many I convinced to vote him which I badly regret. I apologise.
In 2019 I tried to correct that mistake by campaigning against buhari but well it didn't really work.
Now due to the lessons have learnt cause of the failure of buhari I have chooosen to today be OBEDIENT and reject 'BATIFIED' and this are my Reasons.

1. Failure of Buhari and the APC in Governance: it's no secret that Nigeria under buhari is a failed Country. We have ASUU strike with Mr President doing nothing. We have insecurities, the economy is in comatose so tell me why should I vote a Tinubu who is part of this party?.
Any idea of Tinubu to make Nigeria better should have been channeled by Tinubu to buhari or osinbajo to make Nigeria better but he did nothing.

2. EndSars: it was just over a year ago innocent Nigerian youths were shot and killed by soldiers with Tinubu doing or saying nothing about it. Infact he/ his son who is in Control of that tollgate abeting that atrocity.

3. Lagos State: when I look at Lagos and the Hugh potential it has to be Nigerian own California if only good leadership was steering the ship of that state I weep. I look at the progress of cities like Kigali, Abidjan etc in African and I know Lagos which is the 5th largest economy in Africa should be Better than it currently is by a mile if not cause of poor leadership.
Go to Rwanda, Capetown , Cairo, Winghok and you will weep for Lagos...
With all those billions that accrues to Lagos, we shouldn't be comparing it with anambra, we should be comparing it with top top cities of the world.

4. Health status: Tinubu is sick, Very sick. There's no way he can be able to administer Nigeria well.
When you tell his supporters this, they will tell how he will put top people in positions that will help to run the country... but do we need that?. Won't the absence of Mr President due to constant visits to the hospitals give this people the opportunity to misbehave and do as they please? The old man should simply go and rest, tend to his health.

5. Old Age: Tinubu is more than 69 years and Nigerian do not need another old man as a President. Old age will be an obstacle in carrying out many of his duties as Mr President and that will not hold well for Nigeria.

6. Party: I'm tired! I'm tired! I'm tired!!! I'm tired of apc and pdp. We need a change. Those parties has failed us, lets try something new and better. A third force party like labour party if voted in will put the two major parties into factory settings. They will no longer ever underrate nigerians whenever they return back to power.
When there is competition for one position, anyone that occupys or is fortunate to occupy that position most times do their best and we need that right now in Nigeria.
If we vote in labour party, it becomes that strong force then we are in. And I'm pretty sure the labour party will do well so they won't be voted out.

We shouldn't reward failure! I refuse to reinforce failure.

7. Peter Obi antecedent: I checked and did a few little research of my own and I saw that anambra currently is the 4th in HDI and one of the top 5 in education in the country and that's a legacy. If Peter Obi can improve Nigerians standard of living jus like he did anambra that was langusing at the very back then I'm sure he can improve Nigerians standard of living.

8. ASUU strike: Yes yes, Tinubu might not be the President but he has the connection with Mr President and even with those he has done absolutely nothing for Nigerian students. If he can't actually influence Mr President to end this ASUU debacle why then should I vote him?.

9. "Where are the Cows?": It was just a few years ago where herdsmen attacked the car of a reputable Yoruba daughter and instead of Tinubu to stand with his people, he stood with the Fulanis by asking the question 'where are the cows?'.... I will never forget how disappointed I was with him. Was he that incapable of showing solidarity with his people?
Today, same Tinubu wants to be President and he wants the votes of Nigerians? Especially Southerners too....IMPOSSIBLE.

10. MUSLIM -MUSLIM TICKET: No matter what Tinubu do or say I will never supoort a Muslim -MUSLIM ticket as a Christian. It is dead on arrival.

I'm sure if Peter Obi had the money Lagos had anambra will be heaven on Earth.

With the foundation Peter Obi laid, today Anambra is the 3rd in HDI even without Oil money and little allocation. He not only saved lot of money but he built lot of stuffs. Because of the foundation in education Peter Obi laid today anambra is top 3 in education beating Lagos State too. Go and beat that.

It is really appalling that Obi supporters think they have every right to promote Obi using his mediocre performance in Anambra while Tinubu supporters should keep quiet.

When you tell them the truth about Tinubu's accomplishments, they will say you have either collected money or you are being tribalistic.

It is only who is blinded by sentiments (such as tribalism etc) that will argue that Peter Obi is better than Tinubu in governance.

Unfortunately they have different WhatsApp and Telegram groups where they brain wash themselves everyday, both children and adults.
you're a big fool. Peter Obi Anambra is the 4th highest state in HDI...Human development index. Much higher than Kano.
That's Peter Obi groundwork.

Even with lesser resources than Lagos State and a state that was completely razed to the ground.. see what Anambra has been able to achieve.
It is not just much higher than Kano but Rivers too.
Imagine Peter has the money Lagos State do.. I'm pretty sure he would have done far far better

Bola Ahmad, a friend of Jack Obinyan replied him:

Stop Comparing Aeroplane With Housefly...

It's either some people were too young or politically naive at the period Asiwaju held sway as the Governor of Lagos State and Peter Obi as the Governor of Anambra State.

Better still, let us pardon them; some of them have not been to Anambra or Lagos. As for those who were old enough and have been to both States, I will say ignorance and bigotry, at times, could make one rate Niger Republic over Nigeria.

How on earth would a sane person be comparing Tinubu of Lagos and Peter Obi of Anambra. What sort of warped comparison is that, for God's sake! It's like comparing America with Chad Republic. They are thousands of miles apart. They are just poles apart!

In 1999, I was a 200-level university undergraduate, studying chemical engineering in LAUTECH. I was politically involved and active at that time. I knew how Asiwaju administered Lagos, so also for Peter in Anambra when he took over from Dr Chris Ngige.

Asiwaju Tinubu laid a solid foundation for good governance in Lagos. A foundation that the successive governments of Fashola, Ambode and Sanwo-Olu built on. Records are sacred. They are there for everyone to check.

Asiwaju created lasting and enduring institutions of governance. Institutions that outlive Asiwaju administration. LAWMA, LASTMA, LAMATA and the LCDAs are some of the examples of institutions founded by Tinubu of Lagos. They are still there till date in Lagos.

Asiwaju brought about ingenuity and innovative ideas to revenue generation in his State. Lagos State did not change its name from 'State of Aquatic Splendor' to 'Centre of Excellence' for nothing. Asiwaju truly proved it.

In the history of Nigeria, Tinubu is/was the only governor who survived without taking a dime, for years, from the Federal Government monthly statutory allocation. He paid the price for conceiving the great idea of creating LCDAs. A template many states are emulating today.

While the administration of Obasanjo withheld the Lagos allocation for many months, Asiwaju of Lagos devised sound means of revenue generation and did not owe any salary. This is good governance in its raw form!

Furthermore, except we want to redefine good governance, aside its conventional meaning, Peter Obi is not in the class of Kwankwaso of Kano, let alone Asiwaju Tinubu. We know what Kwankwaso did in Kano. We have to be frank with ourselves.

Ask anyone from Kano about Kwankwasiyyah Amaana. After Lagos and Abuja, Kano is the most beautiful city in Nigeria. Kwankwaso revolutionalise Kano in the aspect of infrastructure and workers welfare. I have been to almost all the states capitals in Nigeria. I know what is obtainable in each city.

As for Peter Obi, except his followers are talking about another Peter Obi, which we don't know. If it is the same Peter, the former Governor of Anambra State, then his supporters must be kidding or trying to be overnight comedians.

Is it Peter Obi, who invested Anambra fund in a family business and was impeached by the Anambra State House of Assembly for corruption and poor performance in office, they are talking about?

Is it the same Peter Obi, who did not care about the welfare of Anambra State doctors and they went on strike for thirteen months? Or there is another Peter apart from the Peter Obi of Anambra, who did not care till Anambra State ASUU went on strike for six months?

The notorious and evil Akpuzu SARS, who was accused of innumerable extra-judicial killings, functioned and had a field day under Peter Obi administration. I hope his supporters are aware of these facts? Which Peter Obi are we really talking about, please?

Is it still the one whose name was mentioned in the Pandora Papers? Pandora Papers, for those who may not understand, means those corrupt politicians and rich men, who were indicted for running secret businesses through illegal and corrupt means. Peter Obi's name was mentioned in the illicit reports. Till today, he has not denied the scathing allegations of brazen corruption.

Tell me it is not this same Peter who started the intra-religious rivalry between the Catholic and Protestants (Anglican) in Anambra. An ethnic chauvinist who evicted Nigerians, who are non-Anambrarians, especially the Northerners, from Anambra State?

Someone who says he does not see anything wrong in IPOB's criminal activities in Igboland. Peter Obi of all people as Nigeria's president? God forbid bad thing in Nigeria. May Peter Obi never happen to Nigeria. Amin.

Even with the age.

If you study Tinubu very well, you will notice he's the type that smartly separate politics from governance. That is why he always put the right people in positions.

All his commissioners in Lagos performed excellently well then because he chose them based on their profile and ability and not politics.
That is why I believed him when he said "I'm a very serious politician".

In all seriousness, I love the zeal and the tenacity of our Igbo brothers. This is how you play politics. You congregate around an individual push him and possibly forced him down people's throats using propaganda and other lawful means possible. The truth still remains that Peter Obi is not the best person to lead the country in the year 2023.

judging by track records and achievement alone, Tinubu is a better fit. Tinubu understands the economy better, he has instituted more reforms than every political office holder in Nigeria. He'll hit the ground runnings, he has eyes for performers and technocrats alike. These are the qualities needed to lead a country.

All you need is a man with the political will, the understanding of the private sector, a man open to reforms and taking difficult decisions, a man open to institutional reforms and who can assemble the right team to initiate such reforms. It's a no-brainer that Tinubu was able to transfer Lagos and also laid down a framework and political structure that actualize this. Tinubu is the right person to lead this country at this time.
lol if only he is well. Someone that will spend more time.in the hospital than actually leading. Na probably Masari that will be ruling more lol

I will reply back accordingly.
Now to the first bolded, rephrase it to be “He made those Great minds and he combined with those supposed great minds couldn't outgrow common Anambra even with more money and lesser size state” and then read your statement over again to see clearly how funny it sounds. @second bolded, yes they are bunch of local champions which means that you just buttressed my point. My point has always been that even though none of these politicians is my favorite because they’re all thieves (because I vehemently believe that there’s no such thing as good Nigerian politician), I would rather stand with a ‘working’ thief and not the other one/ones who have nothing to show (Anambra and Adamawa are in shambles)
Now back to your Rwanda comparison, do you know that a state governor’s power is limited and can be overridden by the federal? I don’t think I need to start teaching you this. Who knows? this same Tinubu might have solved Lagos state power challenges if not for the then federal government takeover/hijack of his power project (Independent power project, IPP) from him. Your submission would have been sensible to an extent if you had compare Tinubu’s exploit as Lagos state governor to a former Butare city’s leader or mayor (or whatever they call their head of govt at state levels)
Show me when the federal Govt override Tinubu and his cronies power to make Lagos more better and I'll give up here.

. Like I said you comparing an anambra of 1991 whose state was literally leveled to the ground and they had to build from scratch even with no money or lesser money to a Lagos State that has all the billions... that's even richer than so many African countries.

Oga reason na?... Let's compare Lagos revenue from 1999-2015 to anambra and let's see if anambra had that sort of money they wouldn't be far better despite coming from a war.

Do you know that anambra is in the top 5 states with the lowest poverty rate in Nigeria?.... Yes yes yes, that's an effect of Peter Obi in action.
Bar 2006... anambra was one of the poorest states on Nigeria per capital but today they're in the top 5.
Today anambra is in top 3 best state education wise. Can you beat that?.

By the way let's go to Tinubu, before Tinubu left office he created a law that gave him lots of benefits for life....all those benefits join together is more than the revenue ofOsun state.. go and check.

But when Peter Obi left office..he didn't make laws to give himself so so ND so benefits.

I have choosen today Peter Obi ...that someone who knew that his State need all those money( that should supposedly go as benefits to him) .....

How can someone allocate over a billion as benefits to himself on houses, cars, workers.
8 policemen to himself with 100s of retinues all on the state budget. All those billions would have made 10 good hospitals, builts 100s of good schools and built many roads but no, one man saw it fit to give his family all that..

Tht man , Tinubu is a big big thief . I guess if he do become Nigerian President he will allocate more to himself and family plus the ones he get in Lagos. Lol.

this little thing even with all those money. go and compare what Paul Kagame did from 1999-2007 even with lesser money and you will curse the theif tinubu

do you know how much Nigeria takes from lagos? Paul kagame nah military man ooo rules with fear oooo bro and check lagos population to land mass, and understand that Tinubu don't fully control lagos FEDERAL does too. If you saying PO was right then PAUL KAGAME is wrong too for staying too long as a President but you can't say that because his longevity brought about the growth Rwanda needs. If he leaves another can bastardize his ideals and set the country downward. PO investment now is dead because he forgot it is not a one day journey If you leave Nigerian in charge of your stuffs it is going to rot, choosing the right people to continue in the Growth is just not something acquired it is in built, shows you have a longterm vision. That is what Nigeria needs now a leader with a long term view.
give tinubu another 20 years with even more money for Lagos he will never make Lagos more better than Rwanda. Why then should I vote him when even with More money Lagos remains a shithole.

Do.you know how much the FG has spent on Lagos or given Lagos too?. For 77 years Lagos had everything. All.the investments with nothing going to others parts of Nigeria..isn't that something.?

The east came back from a war where all their cities was leveled to the ground and rebuilt without help from any one..not the FG nononw even though they was a promise to rebuild the east yet notninb was gone( another reason why they don't like Nigeria)... But yet you guys have the guts to insult their cities lol. Maybe if they didn't go through that war they might even be better develop than Lagos but shits happens so accepted.

Tinubu has ruled Lagos without any interference from.the FG, for 22 years he ruled and Lagos has nothing to show for it except calling itself largest economy. Go to Rwanda and you will curse tinubu

see you can't get it because you refused to, Paul kagame has been president since 2000 up until now with no oversight. Tinubu was just a Governor In a Country where all the power belongs to Federal Government and yet created foundation for growth while kagame is a president for life that will try to be good in the media or else an uprising
tinubu has been in control of Lagos from 1999 till date. . He rules lagos by Proxy after he left
Someone that allocated lot of benefits to himself and family even after leaving office.
Peter Obi could have done that but he didn't because he knew it is wrong.

If what you saying is true why then allocating Lagos little growth to him?. If you must give him the praises he should also get blames too.
You praise him for fashola, ambode, Sanwo Olu projects.

But join all those ones together including tinubu and it falls short.

Don't forget Lagoshas much more money... Time 3 than Rwanda and yet what Rwanda President did with lesser.. that is a presidential material not tinubu

Lol Tinubu set the path Them fashola followed. The scheme he spearheaded brought about the growth lagos enjoys today. The problem of every state is finance of even the country is Finance. Nigeria is broke and when a country is broke no matter the economy output you can see shit because we broke Tinubu scheme turned lagos to be more prosperous than before and all. go to anambra and see Obi investment most of them are dead no growth at all will you say it didn't yield or continuation was the issue but remember Tinubu picked his successors which brought continuation and growth to lagos. He picked people who are all abo growth
then when compares to kigali Lagos falls short. How then do you expect me to vote for that kind of man who he and his cronies couldn't develop Lagos than a Paul Kagame did for Rwanda with lesser more and a bigger country.

he died too four years after poison incident,so what u talking about?

Jesus died after drinking sour wine, your so called god kicked the bucket after drinking sour wine grin

Hehehehehe he already know but he chose to eat and he didn't die.

I would be happy if u try that, cos many Christians that we read this for didn't do it.

did Yahweh failed to give John the Baptist a knowledge that he would be beheaded?

Did Yahweh failed to give Jesus knowledge that there is no fig on tree when he was hungry?

because Jesus cursed the tree when he didn't see any fig on the tree when he was hungry
I don tire to the write on naira land.
Chat me up on WhatsApp so we can finish this or give me ur WhatsApp no.

08167623573. Name is Austin.

By the way all the stuffs above is different cases

And who told you God didn't tell John that he was going to be beheaded?. Sometimes God do things for his glory.

For eg, Lazarus was far sick and Jesus knew even when someone came to tell him he still waited till Lazarus died for days before he left to wakeup Lazarus.. all for God's glory.
By the way what was given to Jesus on the cross was poison it is called Vaniga and it's an extremely bitter leaf.. I know it because I do sale it.

Your prophet case is extremely extremely different.
You should know when God heals, it heals permanently... complications don't come about later.
But for your prophet to die from that complications...it really disgraceful to.be sincere.
I'll expect his God to heal him fully. Not die from the complications.

Some of us are campaigning for Peter Obi in public and all social media platform but deep down, we know our candidate is Tinubu.

We are not doing this because we are scared of openly supporting Tinubu, afterall, what do we core Buhari supporters have to fear after sticking with Baba for 8 years and we didn't die.

What we are doing isn't betrayal of Obi, we are simply playing PlayStation 2 game. We are giving our opponent one goal ahead when we are sure we will still win.

We will give Obi all the support he needs but he won't even come second grin
People like you are evil and what is wrong about Nigeria.

he has been the president since 2000 if Tinubu can have that reign in lagos doe that long with no external factors how do you think lagos would have been? With the power plant he built for lagos if the nation didn't take it how do you think Lagos would be moreover do you know that Obasanjo didn't give lagos allocations for 6 months and no one in lagos suffered it!!!!! If he ran lagos as a country without no federal oversight or federal lagos go dy drag with Mumbai
From 1999 to 2007...how did he improve Lagos to an enviable status infrastructure wise? All u guys keep harping on is economy economy ... mtcheeeew.

By the way I thought you said he made people that made Lagos? Now he didn't rule Lagos for long?...do u know Fashola, and even small ambode did better than tinubu infrastructurewise in Lagos?.

Oga if you can't show me how tinubu changed Lagos infrastructure wise to Kigali standard atleast, then I don't see the reason u campaigning for him than you are gaining or you're a Yoruba man.

By the way I'm from Akwa ibom and I'm campaigning for obi. My whole family is Obidient
