When pregnancy entered and Ibrahim's family happily claimed responsibility and were willing to play their part, her parents should have just let go.

The young man is even responsible enough to empathize with her ditto his family.

Sometimes, in a bid to react as e dey hot, we are blind to the true cost of our reaction.

They lost their daughter Amaka and the grandson while Ibrahim and his family would move on with the baby.

Worse case, Ibrahim mourns her for some years and moves on.

They should be punished according to the law. undecided
Who tell you say them go give Ibrahim's family the baby?

after all na there Grandson. noting go make dem give am out

and even the Court can't force that.
Ibrahim can only get to see the baby when he comes over

DSS police EFCC has been that way, stop trying to make it look like it all started with Buhari

I seem to remember senators jumping gates to get to their office because ogogoro man ordered house to be locked

I also remember jagabans house and street was locked down prior to elections

I remember DSS and army raiding new paper outlets and detaining workers under Jonathan

Find something else to say
But Buhari have taken it to a greater height

A POEM BY IFIOK JOHN

THE LAND

The Land is like a Roaring Lion
Eating its Young
The Land is like a Raging Sea
Drowning it Inhabitants

People go, People come
All I see are gloomy looks

The Future seems blurred
The Prophets can't predict

The Eagles eat up the youngs of the Hen
Hope seems faraway
not even the tallest could see
or the longest could grasp

The Pulse of the Nation is at its weekest
The People fear and leave everything to GOD
The Leaders rule with Iron fist
Even the wise are confused

The Land is like a barren Farmland (no rainfall)
it's fruits cutoff and only enjoyed by it's leaders
while the Poor stand and look

"The 8th day Creation, The Military, Matches on trampling upon the right of the People".

The last hope of the common man is compromise
bought by the very purse that houses the people's Wealth

The Constitution is set aside
seems like the Military rules

All I see is tears and more tears
no respite in sight

"Nigeria is off the cliff, not even the longest rope can save it."

I wrote this during the week due to the Situations in Nigeria

Please Guys I will like your Thoughts and Opinions about it.
feel free to correct me cause I know I made a lot of punctuations errors there.

Politics › THE LAND. A Poem About Nigeria by ifiokjohn(op): 9:12am On Dec 23, 2019
Hello Guys, So during the Week, I had this Inspiration to write this Poem. I ain't an English Student so there might be mistakes Here and there but I will be happy to take Corrections.
The Events that taken place in Nigeria made Me sit and write this
SO HERE GOES SOMETHING!

THE LAND

The Land is like a Roaring Lion
Eating it's Young

The Land is like a Raging Sea drowning it's Inhabitants
people go, people come
all I see is a gloomy look

The Future seems blurred
The prophets can't predict

The Eagles eat up the Youngs of the Hen (The People)

Hope seems Faraway
Not even the Tallest could see
or the Longest could Grasp

The Pulse of the Nation is at it's Weakest
the people fear and leave everything to GOD

The leaders Rule with Iron fist
Even the Wise are confused

The Land is like a Barren Farmland ( No rainfall)
it's Fruits cutoff and only enjoyed by it's leaders
while the Poor stand and look.

"The 8th day Creation, The Military, Matches on trampling upon the rights of the people".

The Last hope of the Common Man is Compromise
bought by the very Purse that house's the people's Wealth

The Constitution is set aside, seems like the Military rules.

All I see is tears and more tears
No Respite insight

"Nigeria is off the Cliff not even the Longest can save it."

And that is it.
I know there are a lot of mistakes there but I will be happy if Someone can correct my mistakes and Grammatical errors if Any.

Mods Please put This on Front-page

I will like to see your Thoughts about it

It Unfortunate you still know nothing.
I pity you.
