I see, so you've found spare time from your usual preoccupation (lying on your back servicing customers) to come to NL to spew out such bigoted rubbish.
As for SLS, hate him as much as you like, however, you and your ilk can never take away from his chronicled success and achievements as governor of central bank, nor can you take away his lineage, knowledge and intellect as a person.
While I know you are shallow, ignorant and full of hate, your post obviously speaks for itself; all I can say is that I hope you choke on it, shegiya, karya yar iska. angry

@ Ifyalways:
I doubt if you are operating a domiciliary account at GTB or have been scrutinizing your monthly account statement diligently.

Pls if anybody else knows otherwise let them say it, so that I'll have grounds to go and claim my money back for wrongful deductions.
Please stop yarning dust.
GTB does not charge you a cent on any domicillary account.
Bank charges only apply when you do FX transactions or transfer.

tsmith: i'd like to be a part of this and can make up the os 14500, however I think the bigger issue is having the opportunity to even pay the fees. So are you saying only online payments are allowed? What about students that may not have internet access? I didn't realise Nigeria has gone that techy!

Pls send me the bank details.

Crime › Re: Akwa-Ibom Chief Kidnapped In His Palace by ifyalways(f): 8:14am On Oct 23, 2013
olatade: UYO — The Paramount Ruler of Esit Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Chief Ubong Assam, was yesterday, abducted by no fewer than 30 gunmen, who stormed his palace at 2a.m.
The kidnappers took the royal father to Unyeghe village, Mbo Local Government Area in a car, transferred him to a waiting speedboat and left for the high seas.
The kidnap, it was learnt, might be in connection with N2.6 billion compensation paid by ExxonMobil to the four host local government communities, which the youths had rejected.
Although the security personnel attached to the royal father attempted to rescue him, the kidnappers’ superior fire power won the day.
The Paramount Ruler, who was sleeping when the gunmen struck was, according to a source, not maltreated by the abductors.
The source said the abductors were demanding N150 million ransom to release the victim, as their share of the compensation money, which they claimed they joined in agitating for.
A family source said: “Some of the gun shots sounded like bomb blasts. The operation was like an invasion.”
The Esit Eket Divisional Police Officer could not be reached, but a senior police officer that identified himself as Ogar, said they had received distress calls around 2a.m., but that before Police arrived, the kidnappers had gone.
Youths of Esit Eket, Onna and Ibeno local government areas of the state, last week came out to say they had demanded for N26.5 billion from the oil giant due to the oil spill last year September, but that the company paid N2.6 billion.
They had alleged that some of the royal fathers in the area connived with the oil company to shot-change them

Foreign Affairs › Re: Africans Leap Tight Security Fence Desperate To Enter Europe by ifyalways(f): 8:06am On Oct 23, 2013
tnature: Increasing numbers of Africans are taking daring steps to enter Europe: leaping a towering, triple-layer security fence, and racing across before rapid-deployment police guards can catch them. Several security missions and plans to deter the 'would-be migrants' from crossing over to the Spanish territories of Ceuta and Melilla have failed. These cities are situated on the Northern coast of Morocco; it is the only land with a border between Europe and Africa.

The three layer fence is 7 miles long and 23 feet high and winds around the city until it reaches the Mediterranean coast. At night, it lights up along its entire length to assist the police in discovering desperate migrants. In Melilla, Spanish police use their night-time vision goggles and surveillance cameras to watch over the three layers of fencing.

Non Commissioned Officer Javier Martinez said, "Every day for the past few months, we have seen groups approach. There are quite a few of them and they don't all manage to get up to the fence but there are attempts almost every day." On Mount Gurugu, hundreds of African migrants hide, waiting for the right moment to make a dash for the European soil. "They go barefoot to climb the first fence, then they clear the second, then the third."

Despite the strength of the fence and added security, " they manage to climb it," said the Guardia Civil spokesman. "This is a brake. But someone who has crossed the whole of Africa, who has traveled for months to get here, isn't going to be stopped by a fence." I totally agree.

The Guardia Civil has deployed 600 men at Melilla to confront the migrants. "But often a strong, agile young person needs just a few seconds to get over the triple fencing, which looks impenetrable," the spokesman said.

I thought this post was interesting because usually I hear of Hispanics/Mexicans racing across the U.S. borders, desperate for a better life. Here, many Africans from different African countries travel for many days, leaving their families for a better life in Europe.

abdulaz: our commercial buses with no proper ventilation, they'll still jam pack everybody with no space to even stretch ur leg, what a pity. RIP...
True but not all.
ABC,ekene and co have spacious luxury buses but people would ignore then and go for small hiace buses with nothing but AC for 7 straight hours which is not good. Fresh air is needed when doing long distance trips and a luxury bus gives one that opportunity to alternate btw getting AC or fresh air.

May the dead find peace. Mothers however, ought to pay more attention to their kids when they cry.
