Well, the word safety is becoming relative. No doubt these things happen in the US, my point is a lot more happen in Nigeria but not reported. Ultimately, it is God that protects no matter how careful one is. The prayer is, may we not be found in the wrong place and at the wrong time. Calamity/premature death will not befall us or any of ours in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

Lol...but I must confess it's not as bad as it sounds. I lived in Florida and now in Texas and all my years have never experienced a shooting, it'sjust that almost every incident in the US is reported by the press cos of the value they attach to human life. Just imagine if all the deaths in Nigeria were to be reported, boko haram, bandits, herdsmen, sars, Yahoo, ikorodu boys, areas boys and thugs, school cults, daily lynching of petty thieves, etc. The list goes on and on, if you add all these then you will understand US is a paradise. Here you are even allowed to owned a gun to defend yourself unlike Nigeria where you are entirely helpless.

This is a big relief then, we always have good plans but seeing them through has always been the big issue.

PDP left power more than 4 years ago and the failures of the current clueless government is put on PDP, meanwhile, 90% of the current APC members are the same people that managed the country's affairs under the umbrella of PDP. We are all witnesses to the ongoing protests in Algeria that have led to the resignation of the president, despite how large the crowds were, for once we didn't hear security agents using teargas to disperse them or killing anyone but Naija police will never be civil in their approach. The only training they have is how to intimidate harmless civilians. Their basket go full soon
