The devil always goes after his main adversary, he has always tried to conquer the Catholic church because they are his main Headache. If he conquers the Catholic church then you know it is all finished. Even the boko haram in Nigeria chiefly targets Catholic churches in the north for bombings and extrajudicial killings. Modern day churches are not the devils problem at all at all |
MarcC:Do you even know that it is the same Catholic church that compiled the bible you're arguing about? And after that, interpreted it for use in various languages. The original manuscripts are still at the Vatican. So...going by what you said, the "catholic priest" killed his fellow priests that compiled and interpreted the bible and as well started using that same bible in which it was against. Doesn't make much sense to me. I don't think you know what you're saying at all. |
theapeman4:Lol...catholics don't progress in life? I think the inverse is the case. Look at all the Christian Nations that are doing excellently well, a great majority of them are catholics. Even in Nigeria here, you'd see almost all catholic churches (no matter how remote the area is) have gigantic edifices with very large parking spaces (even at that, cars would still litter all around the roadside). Who built those churches? It's the successful parishioners that always contribute to build them and also contribute to the poor and less privileged around them. Wherever there's a catholic church anywhere in the world, look around the environment or the locality....the church ALWAYS brings development. I don't think you know what you're saying |
Last time i checked, this is an ENUGU thread, not an EBONYI thread. There's no need to derail this thread and concentrate it on ebonyi, Ebonyi wasn't even mentioned anywhere in the whole write up. When there is a thread celebrating Ebonyi, we would all heartily celebrate with them but this one belongs to Enugu, so let them celebrate their achievement in peace. Ps....im neither from Enugu nor Ebonyi by the way. |

Igboamakaaa Igbos are always successful everywhere they go. No wonder they constitute more than 80% of the national team at senior and junior levels. |
The question you need to ask is if the exposé was a lie. Since all said was true, i don't get the point op is driving at. |
Deathstroke00:So....the pdp ruled through out the military era ba? |
He's Fulani. He'd probably be released within a few hours. |
With this phone, Babalawos don't need to look into the mirror to see your future. They would now be able to see the future of three generations after you. |
I don't know.....but i think Aisha has a hand in this fraud. First, it was the other lady that was arrested (and she screamed that she did nothing wrong, "Aisha and her sisters are fully aware of everything" now this guy. But as always...the pawn takes the fall.See another thread where another purported fraudster (who has close links to Aisha was caught) igboamakaaa:https://www.nairaland.com/4886381/aisha-buhari-distances-self-fraudster#73586500 |

tzoracle:Enugu houses the biggest Tech hub in the entire south region of Nigeria (Genesys tech hub....you Can search on google) which takes in billions of naira annually, they give out over $50000 worth of funding yearly to startups with brilliant tech ideas. I have more than 20 friends who established themselves in the tech industry of enugu, within a year of inception they've all been doing pretty good. The fish farm would be great but first, you'd have to lobby the different clubs, restaurants and bars who already have suppliers (these guys consume a lot, so it would be really profitable) or...in the worst case scenario, you'd just start your own restaurant /bar that would consume your fish products but it may not be all rosy, because of strong customer loyalty to other restaurants/bars. You'd have to find a way of attracting them to your outlet(s). |
samuelchimmy:We'll, id say you should give Enugu a test run first, don't be discouraged by my assumptions (for they're only my opinion) maybe your experience would be different from mine. Since you said you have someone to squat with, why not try squatting for two months, during that period, explore the local markets were phone accessories are sold and find out if business is really going well for them there. I believe that within two months, you'd be able to know you if its the ideal place for you. |
In reference to the guy who talked about Enugu, i stayed there for a little time and made some observances. Enugu is a very cool, clean place with awesome road network and a nice hill like environment. It's a place where people who need to take a break from the normal noisy Nigerian lifestyle go to. It's mostly known for enjoyment and stress free lifestyle. If you know you're a young guy trying to start life, Enugu is not for you (else you'd get really broke, unless you're a techie). Electricity supply is quite decent, crime rate is at an all time low, public transport is quite cheap and rents are quite okay and affordable depending on the location. Nevertheless water supply is going to be a huuuge problem as the whole city is on a series of hills, drilling a borehole is going to be quite expensive. Business may not be very lucrative unless you're venturing into the tech and entertainment industry(its booming in Enugu). Nevertheless enugu is a place that made men and retirees go to relax and enjoy life. If you know you don't have money to spend don't go there. |
Hey.....is it only me that has been observing? Since when Nnamdi kanu talked about the palm marks mismatch between Buhari and the purported 'imposter', Buhari has been hiding his palm in the disguise of doing the 4+4 symbol. My thoughts tho... |

sweetilicious:My dad once told me, "if you want to find the greatest human rights abusers, go to the agency against human rights abuse" "if you want to find the greatest thieves, go to the agency that are supposed to check mate crime (police, law makers e.t.c)" So....if you want to find the greatest drug peddlers, you know where to find them. |
bantudra:Well, the obsession with success maybe because of environmental pressure. When one sees that all his brothers and relatives are doing well...he also becomes anxious to be like them and not be left behind. This creates one kind of a "competition" rooted in our subconscious mindset. That's one of the reasons why you see Igbos hustling all around the country and scattered all over almost all (if not all nations of the world) In as much as most Igbos try to work hard in other to earn a honest living, there are a few minority who try to cut corners and therefore indulge in heinous criminal activities in other to be part of the "successful fold". These, do not possess the true Igbo spirit. I don't support the crimes perpetuated by my some of my tribesmen, I'm totally against it. Nevertheless, one must be careful not to use the misdeeds of a tiny fraction of people (be it Igbo, yoruba or hausa) to categorize majority of the others. Remain blessed |
bantudra:Apology accepted ![]() |
bantudra:Heey......the insults are totally uncalled for. I didn't insult you neither did I make any wrong assertion. If people's tribe were to be judged by facial appearance, all light skinned individuals in the country would be igbos. I pray your hatred doesn't totally consume your sense of judgement and reasoning. |
bantudra:Hey, read the suspect's name....read the state he comes from. Read these slowly again 3x then....modify your post, thanks. |
Antipob777:Hey bro, last i checked....edo has never been a biafran territory. It was not included in the biafran map and indigens of Edo do not regard themselves as one. Yoruba language/traditions/ beliefs are totally in sync with theirs. I wonder why you then yoke them with people that have nothing in common with them. Again, please stop spurring unwarranted hatred. Every tribe/region has its bad eggs be it an esan man, egun, ijaw, igbo, Yoruba, hausa, itsekiri e.t c even Among the 12 handpicked by Jesus Christ himself, there was a bad egg. I see no reason why you use the failings of a particular edo man to judge and categorize all the good people of Edo state. |
now this guy. But as always...the pawn takes the fall.
