YorubaKinging:Your people never learn...you really dont. I now understand fully well what is written in the bible about Wisdom and its inverse relationship with envy, jealousy and greed. Whom God has taken away the spirit of wisdom from, no matter the vast human knowledge he acquires or keen experience obtained, he still remains foolish. In the sight of his fellow men who have been spiritually blinded just as he is, he may be seen as "wise", "politically sagacious", "sophisticated technocrat" but in the long run all these earthly material wisdom amounts only to folly and ridicule. In the sight of the most high, he remains foolish. |
So she is literally saying that she joined the labourers in the construction work? Man....i initially didn't believe that Twitter guy but with this unreasonable reply, I'm starting to believe that there's something fishy about the whole arrangement. |
Charmingrascal:I agree with you 100% But On the picture, that's an Owl, not a parrot. |
Difrent:I am dumbfounded to say the least. Here is someone who says there are no corrupt politicians among Core northern/fulani muslims. In a country where we have Ganduje, Abdullahi Adamu, Babachir lawal, Abba Kyari, Tukur Buratai, Issa Yuguda, Abdulrasheed Maina, Adamu Muazu, Hadi Sirika, Junaid Abdullahi, Seminu Turaki, even Aisha Buhari, Aminu Wamakko, Maikanti Bari, Abdul azzez yari. See ehn if i start ti mention them and their corruption cases, this space would not contain it all. Do you know what's surprising? Not One of them was convicted and Jailed. Not one, instead some were rewarded with "juicier" offices to milk down and loot to stupor |
Difrent:Did you see that they are all Christians and not core northerners? 2 out of 3 are from the middle belt. There is no way a core northern muslim will send a core northern muslim to jail. They may not even try that with a middlebelt muslim that is loyal to them. I cant speak same for southerners. |
Litmus:Another nice angle to look at it as well....but not all the markets burnt were made of sticks and corrugated roofing sheets. An example is the 3x idumota fires were all 5 storey buildings that were totally consumed on three different occasions. I get your point anyways, its a nice addition to the earlier posted message. Observing the recent happenings in the last 5 years, one can allege that there's an agenda to all these killings, fires and displacement of citizens. |
Southerners, are your eyes not yet open? Are you not seeing the cleansing going on? All of a sudden within 7 months virtually almost all major markets in the south have gone up in flames something that has not happened all through 60 years of Nigeria's existence. Its no coincidence, the "so-called" numerous tanker expolsions, the premature explosion of conveyed explosives, the numerous burning of markets. All these are part of the strategy!!! Stay woke, the only thing that would put a halt to the plans total annihilation in southern nigeria is total separation of the entities that make up this contraption. Stay Woke!! |
You cant use He, him, his e.t.c ![]() |
I say this all the time, Ohaneze does not speak for igbos, they speak for themselves. What reasonable impact have the ohaneze had on the igbo populace? Who respects them? Same people that connived with the governors and Army to kill igbos mercilessly when they were peacefully protesting. Tell the Ohaneze to call a sit at home, Tell Nnamdi Kanu to do same and see who igbos will follow. Ohaneze ndi uchu....nonsense people |
frozen70:NoOne forgets this kind of stuff, Not even if youre the pope or the highest imam. Nobody can forget....its only when youre in their shoes you'd understand what I'm saying. |
Agba2020:Bros, I've had a similar case with parents back then growing up. The best thing you can do for yourself is to spill it out. You'd see the huge relief that it would bring to your life. Till today, I'm extremely glad i spoke out. It ate me up real real bad. |
Time to resurrect this thread!! Everyone here can understand that the person whom you talk about is mazi Nnamdi Kanu. God has raised him out of the rubbles of the contraption called Nigeria to re-awaken the minds of people and bring them back to himself. That which is happening today has been written long ago. Just as major Prophets of old, they are not the most perfect beings and are antagonised by their own people but God speaks to his people through them and his words always come to pass. They speak with authority and are always critical of evil leaders in the land, nobody can be able to harm them until they achieve the mission of which they were sent. If Jesus Christ was in our time of today i'm very sure he'd get the same (if not worse) treatment from humans because he would still condemn the Pharisees as he did before, he'd still condemn the rulers of the land as he did before, he would still speak with great authority as he did before, and nobody would dare lay a finger to harm him until his time comes (just as it was written in the Bible). As it was in the time of Noah, the judges, the kings, the prophets, the time of Jesus Christ, the apostles so it is now. God never changes, and the heart of man has remained wicked ever since he was casted away from the garden. We all visualise the modern day prophets sent by God to be white men that 'roll' with the high and mighty in the society, the pastors, popes the high and mighty e.t.c but it has never been that way and will never be. God raises the lowly and uses them to do great things. You see.... just as the pharisees, levites, Sadducees, scribes and custodians of the law (who felt that they could tell God what to do and who to choose) were very envious and jealous of Christ (a mere uneducated carpenter's son from the insignificant city of Bethlehem in galilee) and planned to put him to death, just as the prophets were all put into prison at some point and persecuted as well so it is now. You cannot be a follower of Elohim, the creator of the universe and expect not to be persecuted by the evil men of this earth. Since the times of Enoch the anointed one of YHWH, when semjaza, azazel and other watchers rebelled against Elohim and corrupted the earth with all sorts of evil, dark evil has reigned in the world. But God has constantly sent messengers to call back his people to himself and walk in his light. People like Elijah, Jeremiah, John the Baptist, Elisha, Isaiah, Daniel e.t.c were normal humans with extraordinary spiritual graces and anointing from Elohim they speak and it happens as it has been said. Be very critical of what you say and do. Just as we criticise the Israelites of old as being blind and unwise in their dispositions so are the people of today. If one writes the events of these days and documents it just as it was done in the Torah and bible then you will see that we are far worse off than they are. We have eyes but cannot see, ears but cannot hear, we claim to be holy and religious but do not know God, and he has seen how darkened our hearts are and have shut our evil minds from discerning his revelations and knowing the truth because we really do not want to know the truth. Nnamdi Kanu is another prophet, he speaks with great authority, he is very critical of our evil rulers of today and when he prophesies what he has been told by Elohim, it always comes to pass. But since we are evil just as our fathers of old, we have persecuted him and tried to put him to death severally but nothing can be done and will be done to him until be fulfills the mission which Elohim has sent him to do. History always repeats itself, we are no different than the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the evil kings of old who kill and persecute the prophets sent by YHWH to his people. But i warn you, beware of the things you say and do...for a great event is coming and when it comes you will know that no one can dare question the ways of Elohim, the creator of the world. |
BlackfireX:I pray your parents are given this treatment. Amen!!! |
I thank God for Osimhen oh, its time for you to shine. Be careful of that city of Naples oh, the organised crime gang for there no be here. Italy is a very racist country to blacks and the city of naples is one of the most racist cities. But i trust Nigerians, we thrive under even the harshest environments. |
Reeberry:Mr. stop trying to rope me into your pre-medieval thinking pattern. You can search through my entire post history since i joined Nairaland, and point out one place i have antagonised the yorubas for their positive exploits in Alaigbo or anywhere in the world. Envy and hatred is bad, try to have a change of character and you'd see the positive effects it has on your life. |
Reeberry:Yes, but we are not blind to see that her yoruba classmates didnt make the cut. She 'dominated' them in their own land. I dont know how people would want to always discredit other people's hardwork when they're not doing as good as they are. Envy pursues blessings, joy attracts them. Be happy for others when blessings come their way and by doing so, you unknowingly attract blessings to yourself. |
shiwex:Bros, how far all the ijebu people that were trained with her? I didnt see their names on the post....why are they not as good as she is. She came all the way from Anambra to dominate her ijebu classmates in their own house.... isn't that supposed to be a shame? Bros, when you see good things appreciate it. When you're happy and appreciate good things, you attract them to yourself. Envy makes good things run away from people. |
Egoagwuagwu; Money that never runs dry, your wealth of knowledge would never run dry jaare. Tụụrụ ugo gi nwanne! Igboamaka |
This is simply a case of entitlement mentality. It spans all across the country but there are some regions where this 'entitlement' thing is acute among its populace, in fact it is aggravated to being seen as a norm in those areas/regions. (Im not trying to stereotype any region here) If one has money the poor people around feel entitled to your wealth and when you dont give them, they feel offended and resort to demonize you and take your wealth by force. It is just the case here, lazy people without foresight are the worst hit by this disease. They feel entitled to your wealth, comfort all the goodies that you give and they no longer want to work for theirs. Once you try to cut them off the benefits they enjoy from you, One then incurs their wrath. R.I.P to the deceased, this should teach us a lot of lessons. |
Eriggs:On a serious note, study the writing style of mannabbq, errigs and the other guy and see the very visible similarities in their writing style. Its obviously not a coincidence, those monickers are controlled by a single person. You can start from the quoted text before this. |
naijaschoolguru:I'm not assuming anything, im just asking about their usefulness in this country. Why are they here in the first place, The NMA have vowed not to allow them touch any patient. Just 3 days ago, there was a rumor on twitter that one of them had tested positive and the FG had warned all media outlets against reporting it. I'm not negating the fact that all these may just be unfounded conspiracy theories BUT we cant just throw our fears out into oblivion there is always an atom of truth in every lie, especially in Nigeria where rumors always have truths to them. |
Ever since the Chinese came into the country, the rate of reported cases have increased significantly. One may argue that it is due to increased testing, but i cant help to differ and wonder about their purpose of coming here. |

yeyeosoronga:That of lagos was donated by GTBank, that of PH isnt being built by the FG either. Please get your facts right |
That is going to be one hell of a Haunted House.

mrofficial042:I hope you're just chasing clouts, please stop misleading the public. |
JAYEFF:Shatap my friend, even though we all know Buhari is daft, and knows nothing about governance nor even how to manage a family. Nevertheless the Buhari we know in the 90's and 2000's is obviously not the same with that coward in Aso rock who only cares about stealing more and more money and only comes out to take pictures and to show us he's still there from time to time. |
sarrki:Not only security...there is no area his government has performed up to average. He is failure impersonified in its worst form. |
uzoma213:Exactly, The Gloves even worsen the case. Even though it may temporarily shield the skin underneath it, Your hand then becomes a vector host for the virus if it comes in contact with it. This is because you can't actually wash your hands with the Gloves on. You are 3x more liable to spread the virus with Gloves on than without it. |
Slawormir:No, the Gloves aren't important at all. With or without the gloves, when your hands come in contact with the virus, it picks it up. If you touch your face with the gloves afterwards..the virus would still get into your body through your eyes, mouth and nose. Washing the hands regularly, keeping good hygiene and wearing a surgical mask or N95 mask is the one of the surest ways to prevent the Virus from getting into your system. |
adonainana:Jubril will NEVER allow that happen, not in his lifetime. Who do you think are the sponsors of Boko boys? Jubril, Buratai and their cabinet. Are the Boko Boys not enlisted into the Army? Why will the NA fight against itself. As long as this Boko Haram stuff lingers, Jubril, Buratai and their boys will always cash out from Foreign aids, budget, arms procurement etc. |
