This thread highlights the major problem with Igbo people. While yorubas in Lagos and Ibadan are collaborating to build a railyway we’re arguing amongst each other. We fight amongst ourselves than scream marginalization. Pathetic! |
ANSMEDIA:The preoccupation Africans have with churches and cathedrals is ridiculous. Money should be spent on education, investments in tech, healthcare, agriculture etc. We’ve spent billions on a white man’s religion and people are still suffering. SMH |

Anambra is doing a great job for STEM education! I’m so proud! I can see Anambra becoming a hub for science and technology. |
SpaceTour:If you google “modern architecture” the shit you posted would not even come close. It’s constructive criticism. Stop being delusional.
|
SpaceTour:Oh I hurt your feelings. LOL. The building isn’t modern at all. Keep being delusional. |
investnow2013:Who are the people designing these buildings? They don’t look modern at all. They should really consider hiring young African architects outside of Anambra. This building doesn’t look like something that should be made in 2019. |
You’re the only person in here with sense. These other fools are talking about selling it on eBay while the British get revenue by showcasing our artifacts in their museum. SMH RedboneSmith: |
This thread highlights the problems with Africans. Instead of building a museum with our ancient, precious artifacts to attract revenue for tourists, we sell them for peanuts. Think long term for a second. Your children and great grand children will have to travel to foreign countries to look at art their ancestors made because their family before them sold them off. We don’t value anything. Sad! |
I hope they don’t bring their bleaching to Netflix.

marshman293:Worry about your own state. Why are you tracking this thread when you HATE US? Obsession much? Go get help! |
Why don’t politicians get this treatment when they steal billions from their citizens? |
Anambra. The light of the nation indeed. https://abujareporters.com.ng/how-anambra-assembly-candidate-wins-election-because-opponent-tagged-and-insulted-him-akara-sellers-son/ |
Igbo women are the best! |
The Chinese are about to start flooding the southeast. These people are determined to take over Africa. Smh |
I wish more of our women wore their natural hair. Those weaves/wigs are atrocious! |
Any updates on the airport? |
Yikes!

Where’s that Muslim cleric making fun of starving Igbo kids during the war? He’s own kids are starving in 2019. Karma |
amaniro:Inferiority complex. |
deomelo:Your children are begging in the street everyday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-U4Uq684GY Did Boko Haram ever bring your bitches back? LOL |
Who cares. Boko Haram will finish the north anyway. 80% of their population are begging for food, water, and shelter. |
The poorest are in the north. |
Northern politicians ignored Boko Haram and lingering poverty in the north and this is the result. The poor will eat the rich. |
Nnamdi’s beautiful mother. She’s a doctor.

So cute!

IMO, Abia, Enugu all need young visionary governors. He should have ran for state level elections. Most people in Nigeria don’t know he exists. |
The insults in this thread is the main problem with Igbo people. Fools will be shouting for Biafra but there’s no unity amongst us. We looking down on one another based off of what state we’re from even though we share the same ethnicity. While Ibadan and Lagos collaborate to improve their region, were fighting each other. If only you guys loved each other they way you worship whites. Sad! |
I’m not really impressed with the designs of the buildings or interior decor. They should really find a young african arichitect with modern designs. |
Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world but you’re celebrating two Nigerians for making the list. Stupid! |
ITbomb:Northern Nigeria is the most backward region in west Africa. They have the highest rate of poverty and out of out of school children. Why anyone from the south want to be attached the north is a mystery to me. |
The Jigawa state government says it spent N93 million to sponsor the wedding of 270 orphaned girls as part of its efforts to “support the poor and vulnerable”. Mustapha Saleh, special adviser to Muhammad Badaru, the state governor, made this known on Saturday in Dutse, the state capital. According to him, 10 orphaned girls were chosen from each of the 27 local government areas (LGAs) in the state. He said the N93 million was used to fund the wedding ceremony and provide “housing furniture” for the beneficiaries who had undergone screening and had been cleared of having HIV/AIDS. All the 270 girls were said to have received beds, mattresses, wardrobes, cushioned chairs, pillows, bed sheets, curtains and rugs and other household items. “Ten beneficiaries were selected from each of the 27 wards of the state by the committee shouldered with the responsibilities of selecting and screening eligible beneficiaries. And they selected based on merit, not political affiliation or any other thing,” Saleh is quoted to have said. “We decided to conduct the medical test because it was the best way to engender trust in the minds of the couples. “The screening conducted had been a success story, as none of the couples was found to be carrying diseases that will disqualify him from benefiting from this kind gesture. “And this is because joining the couples in suspicious circumstances, will make them distrust each other which might end up destroying the relation.” On Friday, the state house of assembly, passed the 2019 appropriation bill into law after Sule Musa Dutse, chairman of the house committee on appropriation, presented a report of his committee. The committee had recommended a budget increase from N147.540 billion, proposed by the state executive, to N160.140 billion. According to Dutse, the budget titled ‘Budget for Sustainable Development”, properly captured the social and economic needs of the state. https://www.thecable.ng/jigawa-we-spent-n93m-on-wedding-of-orphans/amp |
