The only way a vessel of that nature would keel over on its side is if it took on water and the only way it would have taken on water is if the hull was damaged. The hull is the EXTERNAL part of the ship that helps keep it afloat.

The fact that it sank shows that the OUTSIDE AKA HULL of the ship was damaged thus taking in water which caused it to keel over to its side and then sink.

Turkey has further exposed the lies from Russia.

Ukraine said out of the 510 onboard only about 58 were rescued.

Turkey whose vessell actually did the rescuing have confirmed that only 54 were rescued out of the 485 sailors onboard

Russia as expected lied that all 510 were evacuated without even knowing that the actual number of sailors onboard as confirmed by the Turkish vessel which rescued 54 of them was 485 and they also lied that the vessel was being towed to Port.

Turkey again has bursted that lie and said they met the vessel already capsized on it's side and they even provided time stamps to back it up.

No towing vessel at all and they managed to rescue only 54.

So Russia lost 431 out of the 485 sailors onboard from this one strike by Ukraine

"Neptune missiles guarding the Black Sea caused very serious damage to the Russian ship. Glory to Ukraine!" he said in his post.

He also claimed there were an estimated 510 crew members on board.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said Thursday that a fire had broken out on the ship and was extinguished.

"The source of the fire on the cruiser Moskva is localized. There is no open burning. Ammunition explosions stopped," the ministry said in a statement.

It said the cruiser remained afloat, its main missile armament was not damaged, and measures were being taken to tow the vessel to the port.

Later in the day, the Defense Ministry said the Moskva had sunk in a storm during towing after suffering damage to its hull from the fire.

At least 1,964 civilians have been killed and 2,613 injured in Ukraine since Russia launched the war on Feb. 24, according to UN estimates, with the true figure believed to be much higher.

More than 4.7 million Ukrainians have fled to other countries , with over 7 million more internally displaced, said the UN refugee agency.

Only 58 sailors were rescued by the 510-member crew of the sunken flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet - the cruiser "Moskva". This was stated by Russian politician Ilya Ponomarev. The former member of the Russian Duma, who has lived in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv since 2016, is the only one to vote against the annexation of Crimea in 2014.

There is no official information about the rescued and dead from either Russia or Ukraine.

The cruiser was badly damaged in an explosion and fire yesterday, and while being towed back to port, it sank, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced last night. Versions of what happened to Russia and Ukraine differ. Kyiv says it hit the cruiser with Neptune missiles, and Moscow says a fire detonated ammunition.
