The attacks at Ebonyi and Enugu weren't consistent attacks and i can't remember if the Southeast have had an attack this year.

Osun state, Ondo state and Ogun state have had consistent attacks from herdsmen.

When last did you hear of an attack by herdsmen in the Southeast?

But we had a report of it in Ogun state last 2 weeks.

Ok, a verifiable stats will still help. But I am sure they are more Igbo Casualties from Fulani attacks than in Yoruba land though. I might be wrong.

There was a thread here last year about how Fulani herdsmen attacked a community in Enugu. After two weeks of the attack, the youths set a roadblock. Unknown to the herdsmen, they came again to attack and met their waterloo. That was the last time we heard about herdsmen attack in Enugu.

I am from the SouthEast and I can confidently tell you that this statistics is VERY CORRECT. However this does not mean that SE is the poorest region in Nigeria, it's just a reflection or how small SE is by landmass.
The figure is obtained by dividing the total number of poor people by the total landmass.
SE is by far the smallest region in Nigeria, I attached a map for clarity. One state in the North is bigger than all five states in the SE combined

For example if you run this same analysis by state then Lagos state will emerge the State with the highest number of poor people per square mile. This is because Lagos state is the smallest state in Nigeria by landmass and yet one of the most populated state.

Unbelievable that some people are still at war to make the smallest region in Nigeria a Country… you need to educate your people about this bad idea… let them embrace peace ASAP.

When you calculate it per capita, which is what really matter, you will notice that poverty is far less in the SE

Never has an election in Nigeria brought such anger. Even Buhari who was a serial court customer after each presidential election never vrought widespread anger and disdain as Tinubu who supposedly won the presidential election.

INEC chairman made a huge mistake. Since Tinubu won by roughly 2m votes, Yakubu Mahmood should have listened to the grievances, sorted then amicably and still declared Tinubu as winner. But ordering all the complainants to go to court was quite arrogant. And to cap it off, he sneaked in at about 4am to declare the the winner.

Professor Jega carried himself with more dignity than Mahmood. He, Mahmood, is a big reason people distrust the process.

As for the DSS (actually SSS) , let me not speak my mind. Hopefully this organisation is purified in the days to come.
