crisycent:^^^Keep on dreaming! ![]() |
ECOTERRORS:^^^By rights, Delta should be neck-and-neck with the likes of Akwa Ibom and Lagos in development! They've got to better leverage on their existing comparative advantages: like the federal allocation (which i think should be increased to at least 50%); under-utilised seaports; agri and aquaculture; nearness to Onitsha and Nnewi; etc-etc-etc! |
MEILYN:......Until we're wiped off the face of the earth by the rampant, rampaging, pillaging Fulani mob! ![]() |
Am i the only one that mistakenly read 'Buhari' instead of 'Biafra'!? ![]() |
Serves them right! |
Nuzo1:^^^True that! ![]() On the other hand however, you sure as hell can find a dead fish in an oily soup! ![]() |
That Mr J Iscariot is just a troublemaker! What's the hurry in conducting LG elections when he's got just a few hours left in office!? ![]() |
The people that normally plan coups are feeling sweet at the moment as they've gotten power through the ballot box! If GEJ had won then one could have said a coup or any other destabilizing incident is imminent.....but not anymore! ![]() |
Collynzo9:^^^Sorry, but no can do! They should move it back to the politics section as all this was settled last year! |
Chinom:^^^Hehehehe ![]() Chinom don vex be dat! ![]() |
sunshine1974:^^^Hello Sunshine! ![]() You do realise that there's quite a lot of stuff your Nigerian gov't has done 'legally' that can't withstand the rigours and scrutiny of international best practice!? |
freshdude99:^^^The lunatics have taken over the asylum! ![]() |
folabayo1:^^^I don't even remember her from Adam.....period! |
chiefinalowo:^^^An Ijaw man told you Ndigbo have sinister designs on their oyel!? ![]() Did he also tell you he'd prefer to stay in Nigeria under the present status-quo where he has no say over how his oyel is exploited and shared? Did he also say he's happy to share his oyel with leeching, lazy and ungrateful twerps who only see him good enough to exploit, cheat and enslave.....and don't think his people are good enough to present a candidate for the highest office in the land since that position is already marked down as someones birthright!? Did he say all that as well? ![]() |
FabioPeter:^^^I misread the heading.....thought it was in dollars! ![]() |
Decades after Sonny Okosuns asked this very same question, we're yet to get an answer! ![]() |
Sweetguy25:^^^......Setting the cat amongst the pigeons! You have to admit, the core muslim north have excellent form in this regard! They've been at it since the 60s, and are even getting better and better sef! With just a little wheeling and dealing here and there, the Hausa/Fulani have the power to reduce the entire south to little more than a chaotic family scene from an episode of Fuji House Of Commotion! ![]() |
Chiwude:^^^Notice how he was subtly trying to curry favor of the Yoruba! He wants to get them onside in the ongoing 'battle' to wrest power from the SE/SS! They've succeeded to some extent (they've got back the political power) with the help of some of their Yoruba allies like Tinubu; but there's still a bit more work to be done before the northern hegemonic and feudalistic oligarchs can relax and proclaim Uhuru; economy, administrative and public-service power still need to be consolidated! Now i have a question for anyone who buys into this mans assertion that GEJ favoured and wilfully appointed Ndigbo and Ijaw to marginalize and slight the Yoruba and North: can you tell me how this action benefitted Ndigbo? I want facts and figures to prove your point that Ndigbo and Ijaw used the appointments to these offices to gain an unfair advantage materially and economically to the detriment of the Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani! |
Ezenwammadu:^^^It's apparent the OP is for APC! Imagine Aregbe' performing miles better than Obiano! |
abduljabbar4:^^^Your findings are in tandem with that of the OP!......Fuc/kall is happening! ![]() |
You know you've said something wrong or sold your people short when even traditional Igbo haters are giving you congratulatory slaps on the back for a 'job well done'! OP is a knobhead! |
Nothing goes for nothing.....nothing ever does! |
Bevista:^^^This address you claim he made to peeps in the East......you have a link to view or read it? |
wadetaw202:^^^That's what occurred to me as well when i skimmed over parts of the speech! They carry on as if the country starts and ends in the north! |
temitemi1:^^^He's Fulani remember!?.....They're naturally liteskinned! ![]() |
ROSSIKE:^^^I'm guessing it includes the 5-Star Hotel and other stuff being built like the childrens park and cinema! |
He's a smart guy!....He left the UK after his football career was over, came back to his fathers homeland, and now he's doing well for himself! Not like all those fools born in England, of Nigerian parentage, yet want to have nothing to do with Nigeria!.....Blackarsse niggas forming oyibo and britico even more than the Queen!! |
I forgot to mention that these sort of jobs also arise as a consequence of certain nation-building institutions and companies corporate headquarters being located in a particular place or city! This is where the state gov't will come in by luring these institutions and companies to come set up shop in Anambra!.....And for this to happen, there has to be good governance, security, as well as all the other points i raised in my previous post! |
Somebody mentioned here yesterday that Anambra needs more white collar job opportunities!......I couldn't agree more! But the fact that this is presently not the case is an indictment on 'one Nigeria' as presently constituted! This is just one of the problems we will continue to face in the South East while we're in a country where everything is centered and directed towards Abuja and Lagos! White collar jobs need certain basic necessities to be in place for them to thrive; chief of which is an International Airport and Seaport! White collar jobs are primarily middle-class jobs.....so other things that need to be in place would be stuff like decent accommodation and well-serviced housing estates; shopping malls; decent, welcoming and well organised public transportation; parks; leisure and recreational facilities; and decent schools! Anambra has some of these, and needs to work hard on acquiring the rest! But to set the ball rolling, the Airport and rail-access to a nearby Seaport (either at Ibaka, Obuaku or Port Harcourt) are the first and indispensable parts of the jigsaw puzzle! |
