^^^Bros, there's little having a high-calibre weapon in your breast pocket could do if you're sat in church next to a pyscho-suicide bomber; a determined one at that.....brainwashed to hate your 'smug' infidel Christian guts, and who's carrying a concealed bomb primed to go off at any moment....to despatch you off for an early appointment with your maker!

But for the grace of God, those poor victims could be any one of us! undecided

If the above post is remotely correct, I had to say that Rotomi Amaechi is more menacingly idiotic than I thought. Only fool will destroy his/her house by the urging of an outsider.

^^^Well it's been done before.....in the so called South-South i mean! Remember in the late 60s how some where convinced by outsiders to stab their neighbours, cousins and brothers in the back!?

Their problem is that they're too smart for their own good!

Politics / Re: If President Buhari Fails To Defeat Boko Haram Before 2016, He Should Resign by IGBOSON2: 10:14pm On Jul 04, 2015
doctokwus:
Resign and handover to Osinbajo, who u think will do better?Ah ah.
Or worse still resign for Saraki to take over?Hell would freeze over than for Atiku or Saraki to ever rule Nigeria.
Op If u naively think BH can be defeated in 1 or even 2 years time, then your cluelessness is at par with that of GEJ.
How long did it take the U.S,a superpower to degrade, not completely defeat,Al Queda?Several years.
Yet u want a president that is building a broad, multinational, cross border coalition, using the same well tested template used by other nations to defeat terrorists, to succeed in a year! Very irritating.
If u think u can stay behind d keyboard to proffer a better solution or know somebody who can perform better than PMB, what u should do as a supposedly enlightened electorate in a democratic setting is wait 4years and see if majority of Nigerians agree with you,not to ask a president to resign just 1yr after assuming office as if we are in a banana republic or a your community's town hall meeting.

^^^All this one you dey yarn na dogon turenchi! Then your man shouldn't have pledged to defeat the evil bokos within two months of taking over!.....He has commited himself so i don't want any excuses!

If he was dumb enough to say he will defeat the bokos within a specified time without first getting to know the facts -just because he wanted to win an election- then na im problem be dat! Simple!!

That building is a legendary icon.
Hope it is completed and put to use soon. Importantly, i hope the interior is brought to true world class International Conference Center standard such as in the third picture.

sadly, right now, all the land meant for hotel and parking space of conference attendees have been poached by land grabbers and houses built on them.

^^^I wonder why there are no pics of the inside....or a plan at least!

Any land poached should be reclaimed....and if bribe was paid for certain things to be 'overlooked' then that's the problem of the encroacher!

This is why 'one Nigeria' dey sweet certain people pass!

Just check out the shifty crooks that have used their offices unfairly/illegally to enrich themselves, or who have plundered our national commonwealth (and i include Lagos as part of the nations commonwealth)....check where the majority of these thieves are from and you'll start to wonder how exactly Ndigbo are Nigerias' problem like some would want you to believe!

I've just gone through a thread on a Bornu Billionaire that built a palace in the desert, and built loads of mosques all over the north yet today this same state is asking for 200 billion naira of our money to rebuild their state! Can anybody tell me exactly what Gowon did to rebuild the East after the devastation Nigeria wrecked on the place?.....Yet go down to the East today and you'll wonder just where exactly the theatre of war was from 1967-70!

Truly sad. I wont say he made bad choices but rather in America you are dealt a card, depending on your skin colour.

^^^I think he should shoulder the bigger part of the blame for how he eventually turned out....irrespective of what life threw at him! This is America we're talking about and not some poverty-stricken 3rd world country!

The Judge said he was a good boy in school so at least we can deduce that he came from a good home and had positive influences around him as a child! I think the problem may have started when he left school: he may have lost focus and yielded to peer group pressure.....trying to act all gangster and s'hit! This is an all too common pitfall that trips up young black boys! At a certain age kids think they know it all and want to rebel against their parents and constituted authority; especially if they're from single parent homes where the Mum is usually too busy working to provide for the family (possibly the rebels younger siblings)!

All-in-all it's quite sad really!

How about the idea of IBETO listing on the stock market and looking to raise funds through the capital market! If the venture is sold well to Ndigbo and our South South/Niger Delta brethren both at home and abroad, i'm sure he can raise at least an extra billion dollars to solidify his presence in the Nigerian cement industry business!

Like someone earlier advised, he should be prepared for the competition to fight dirty like they did before with the help of OBJ.....especially now they have their man in Aso Rock!

Could it be that you're afraid of what your Hausa/Fulani allies up north will think of your decision to go it alone.....or could it be that you're afraid you can't survive on your own without the free oyel money you presently get? Which is it!?

Are we now saying that the bane of our development is non actualization of Biafra?
I beg to disagree the problem of the Ibo nation has been poor leadership. If the Igbo nation have their way with Biafra and then have somebody like Prof Iwu as Bia NEC ( INEC) chairman producing somebody like Theodore Ahagiefula Orji or Mbadinuju as President there will still not be development

I believe that with purposeful leadership in the States, we could still achieve alot and leave the rest of Nigeria trailing far behind. I would like to see the SE Governors rise above selfish interest and begin to think about projects short and medium term that will see the region on top. I want to see integrated infrastructural development, industrial clusters / layouts with manufacturers producing for the African Market, to see Chinese companies relocating to the SE in droves
I want to see schools built with focused disciplines. Is it not possible to have roads connecting the zone such that one can go from Niger bridge to any end of the zone in less than 2 hours
For now
We need Leaders NOT BIAFRA . It might interest one to know that the allocations and revenue that came into the States of the region between 2007 and 2013, yet there is very little on ground to justify the earnings

^^^You still don't get it do you!? It's innocent naive guys like you that Igbo-haters love!
