A man that can barely speak a correct sentence in English and people want an institution named after him? Maybe an elementary school in his village that he went to. Do they need to announce it |
Did you know? That currency note you put in an envelope and drop during church meetings is not offering. The proper name for it is "money" , not offering. When you give money, what you are making is called monetary contribution. You are not giving an offering! The bags that go round to collect your money are called collection bags and not offering bags. You could read through the epistles and it would be clear to you that the early church did not use the word "offering" loosely as we do today. This is because they knew what offering truly meant. Your money is a legal tender in the country where you live here on earth. It is not a legal tender in heaven or before God. Your legal tender is printed by the central bank of your country, or any other similar institutions and its relevance (and influence) is at best terrestrial. There is only one legal tender that resonates in the presence of God. That legal tender was the offering made at Calvary, once and for all, some 2000 years ago. He is the the sweet-smelling and non-sweet smelling offering, all rolled together in one. He's the offering that speaks forever before God, better things that the blood of Abel. He is the true offering that has been suppressed by the church system in order to sell to you the Idea of money as the offering. The word "offering" has become so bastardized that when people hear it, what immediately strikes them is what is their wallets and not the offering at Calvary. But Money is not the true offering! Jesus is the offering. And what is the good news here? Jesus' offering was made at Calvary, just on behalf of you and I. By this one offering, we have unfettered access to the father. Hebrew 4:16. By this singular offering, we have become accepted and pleasing to God by default. It is written and I quote "For By one offering, He has perfected forever them that are sanctified" Hebrew 10:14. Just one offering. Your money can speak for you before men, but only the offering of Christ speaks for you before the Father. "Offering money for next level" is fraud! "Offering money to tap into an anointing" is fraud! "Offering money to "key into" prophecy or testimony" is fraud. Friends, I need you to Stop speaking to money and sending it on an errand to God. God doesn't need your money. We are the ones that need the money. Speaking to money ostensibly to send it on an errand is akin to pagan practice. God is not moved by your money. The only god that is moved by money is mammon. Much like God provided an offering for sacrifice for Abraham, in place of Isaac, He has provided an offering, in Christ, and He is absolutely satisfied with His offering. Raising up money commitment cards during prayers to challenge God is a faulty doctrinal practice in church. "I'd rather raise up the offering of Christ at Calvary. It is written : And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace". John 1:16 NKJV This is the Offering that sits at the right hand of the father, forever making intercession for the saints. Naira notes or dollar notes don't give you access to God. The only accept which has no competition is Christ. He said "I am the way......" So, did I suggest that you should not give money to support God's work or people around you? Far from it. Be generous with money! Give cheerfully. It is in you! It is your nature to do so. If you are of God, you will give. Giving is a sign that the love of God dwells in you. Let it flow unhindered. But the point is that no matter how important money is to us, it should never be elevated to the place of Christ. It should not take the place of the true offering, which is Christ Jesus. It is a new day! NINYO. |

PeaceJoyLove:You have a lot to learn but pigheadedness will not let you. Someone writes a post on a public forum and you decide where it should be written or applied Are you out of your mind? If this post is that upsetting to you why don't you move on by? You claim one must never judge but now you agree we can judge but only in certain places. What are u smoking? Do I write for your viewing pleasure. No get lost if u have nothing intelligent to contribute |
PeaceJoyLove:Again This post here has nothing to do with tuberculosis Josh Are you that thick How old are you? |
PeaceJoyLove:How old is this character? |
As long as you claim to be a Christian your actions are subject to judgement by other believers using the word of God as standard. Nobody can hide under judge not to perpetrate evil any longer. We shall continue to judge you . We are enjoined to judge one another |
Jokerman:1 Cor 5:12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? Incase the long post scared you or you didn't understand anything in it. Let me break it down one scripture at a time. Read it 3 times them explain it to the other TB friend of yours |
Africans and emotionalism. |
PeaceJoyLove:And your name is peacelovejoy Hahahahahaha OMG |
The lead post is written in very simple English and the verses are not in vernacular. Anyone with a proper elementary education can understand it. Stick to the topic |
PeaceJoyLove:I thought you made a last post to me somewhere but the spirit of tuberculosis Josh no gree you quit sotay anywhere you turn you see him Sorry o There is no TB on this lead post. GO AND CRY AT THE SYNAGOGUE NOT HERE |
Jokerman:Is there something wrong with you? Seriously Are you naturally daft Did you see TB Joshua anywhere on this post or are you that possessed by his foul spirit and see him in every post. You can't help it can you? Be free in Jesus name!! |
1 Cor 14:29 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge From the above even the words of the prophet must come under scrutiny by judging it using the word of God. Nobody should come up and say God says and get away with it. If it is jot in line with the word judge him and discard his lies |
Jokerman:Again I advise you please open your bible and read it!! Read with understanding and learn Many of you merely repeat what your daddy in the Lord feeds you. John 7.24 (KJV) 24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Don't thank me Read your bible |
Are Believers allowed to judge? Yes! Very common accusations you hear when believers led by the Holy Spirit try to point out errors in the church are 1. Touch not my anointed 2. You are dividing the Body 3. The Bible says do not judge Some even go as far as threatening others with the leprosy of Miriam and calamity to their generations. If you say don’t judge means allow anything to go on, why then do we throw criminals in jail after judging them? Why do you criticize your presidents and government officials after all the bible says they are ordained by God. We must allow scripture interpret scripture rather than pick verses to suit our disposition and protect our favorite people in error. So should believers judge? The verse often quoted on not judging is Luke 6: 37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Does it mean that you should not condemn falsehood? Jesus was speaking to religious rulers who hated him for healing on a Sabbath : He was speaking to hypocrites who insist the Sabbath must be obeyed but go ahead to circumcise on a Sabbath day and Jesus said in JN 7 :24 Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.” That means there is a right judgement and a wrong judgement. So the verse saying do not judge is actually saying do not judge wrongly. Scripture interprets scripture. Paul speaking in 1 Cor 5 warned believers to keep away from believers consumed with certain lifestyle that does not give God glory. He could not come to that conclusion that the people were wrong without judging them (by the word) . He then said in 1 Cor 5:12, 13 "What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside". So we judge ourselves Yet in another Scripture, we are told not to go to the world to judge cases between believers but to judge it within. That is judging rightly. The Bible then continues in the same passage to tell us that the Lord’s people will judge the world and angels (at the end of age I believe) In a letter to the Ephesians in chapter 5 we are admonished to keep away from sinful living and walk as children of light and in verse 11 you read “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them”. The Bible enjoins us not to hide evil under the cover of touch not (which is another verse often quoted out of context but a post for another day): rather expose these evil machinations judging them by scripture to expose them. To expose is to call them out openly and rebuke them. Paul says in Galatians 1 v 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse! The bible also says test every spirit to know if it be of God.How?By judging it by the word. Other scripture to consider 1 Cor 6: 2 & 3 Do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? 3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? 1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. Proverbs 31:9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy How does one know another gospel? By judging it using the standard of the Word of God. So yes we can judge ,we are encouraged to judge but we must judge righteous judgement. So all those that keep harping on the judge not mantra to hide the wickedness in the body are ignorant or deceptive. |
Mecka:I deal with facts not hear say and choose to stay on the topic. I AM NOT HOLDING BRIEF FOR ANY GO or pastors out there. The bible only is my guide |
Jokerman:You don't get this do you? I am permitted to judge We dont wait till last day. We judge daily and judge righteously. That is how we know right from wrong. You have a bible please open it and read it or do you want me to show you? Stop repeating things you hear others say.You have a bible please open it and read it with understanding |
Mecka:Nothing like ordination in the new covenant. Who ordained Paul and Silas? Who ordained Peter or Aquilla and Priscilla ? What you call ordination is nothing but man made practice. It is not a new testament teaching |
Jokerman:Every believer in the new testament is anointed. I am the Lord's anointed The Holy spirit anoints us all. Open your bible and read it please!! |
PeaceJoyLove:Thanks Good bye |
Nephilim:Go and study your Bible that verse has absolutely nothing to do with sowing to your pastor . Who did Abraham sow seed to before he became wealthy? Thank God you quoted verse 7 It didn't say giving to your pastor too Abraham had no pastor |
Generalissimo75:Thank you! The scammers use that verse to confuse those who refuse to open their bibles and study |
Generalissimo75:Thank you! |
Abraham was rich in livestock, silver and gold yet he had no pastor or anybody he gave money to periodically in the act of sowing seed. His nephew lot was equally blessed and didn't have a pastor he doled out money to Joseph went on to be a prime minister in a country he came into as a slave yet he had no pastor he sowed or tapped blessing from. Who did Elijah and Elisha sow seed to? Jeremiah and Apostle Paul sowed to who? Nobody Their blessings came as a result of God's goodness to all. Seed sowing is a scam |
In every miracle or healing /deliverance we read about in the Bible there's not a single one that the individual was asked by Jesus or any of his disciples or apostles to first sow a monetary seed. Maybe I haven't read it yet. Have you? Instead we read things like "thy faith has made thee whole","knock and the door shall be opened, seek you shall find" If you believe and don't doubt you shall say to this mountain move. They that wait on the Lord shall be like mount zion, trust in the Lord with all yoir heart etc. The apostles never preached seed sowing as a condition for God to move. Jesus didn't teach us that, correct me if I'm wrong. Until then, i maintain that it's not the gospel that was given to us. The bible says freely you have received freely give. The bible says if he didn't spare his son will he not freely give you all things? The gospel that teaches you to mobilize God with money so you can move his hands is from the pit of hell and the pulpit of your GO. It is a covetous concoction from greedy men and men who are preaching the gospel for gain. The woman with the issue of blood, blind bartimaeus, the man by the pool of Bethesda, cripple at the beautiful gate, the 10 lepers, Jairus daughter, the centurion servant ,even the healing of Naaman and the raising of the dead kids by Elijah and Elisha. No money was given to anyone before God moved Don't be deceived The answers are in the Word If your pastor says you sow seed to provide God ,he is a liar and a scammer Romans 8:32 Amplified Bible He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? |
Jokerman:Africans and their emotional ways The bible says I can judge and said so in several places. I wonder why you judge Buhari and other criminals why not allow God to judge. Right now you are judging me too so take a clue from your own stand and see that it neither makes common sense nor biblical sense . |
