PoliticsRe: RE: Leaked Audio From Peoples Gazette Says Obi Votes In Onitsha Instead Of Agulu by IgOga(m):
No didn't say that

That's not a defence. As much as I don't play to innuendos......lying to make a defense is worse than the original audio.

People Gazzette claimed it was the Eve i.e. a day before the election i.e. 24th February 2023

In the audio. Obi said Good morning..... meaning on the morning of 24th Feb 2023 Obi was in Onitsha according to the audio released.
PoliticsRe: Swearing Tinubu In Will Cause Chaos In Our Country - Datti Ahmed (video) by IgOga(m): 9:36pm On Apr 01, 2023
Datti should be arrested by DSS I watched the interview he even called for a military take over.

He is claiming Abuja is the most important. This is a man who has taken his case to court for interpretation of section 134 of the constitution but at thesme time threatening the judiciary that his own personal interpretation is correct.

Datti even went further to say he does not believe in the courts.

He went on to say the election results are rigged. When Seun asked him if Labour Party's 6 million votes were rigged too....he said NO those ones are not rigged.

grin grin grin Funny but not funny considering he's leading a herd of zombies who cannot reason independently

PoliticsRe: Throwback: No To Yoruba Presidency - Arthur Nzeribe by IgOga(m): 2:20pm On Apr 01, 2023
Same method

Those who don't know history are hailing Obi....but some of us know the script he's following.

This same Arthur Nzeribe was shouting at the time that Abiola has rigged the election. He claimed Tofa's mandate was stolen. He went to court to obtain an injuction to stop the declaration of presidential results. SDP went to court to obtain a counter judgement.

The military eventually annulled the election. And Nigeria suffered afterwards. 1993 - 1998 was not funny. Such was the suffering.....Nigerians were literarily praying in church every Friday vigil for Abacha's death.

Obi is now claiming he won.....elections are rigged wherever he lost but in the South East there is no rigging according to him and Datti.

But in 2023 Yorubas are smarter.....hence the noise Onanuga, FFK and many who know history are not keeping quiet with thesame template used in 1993

Datti must be arrested. He is the only politician I have seen on TV calling for a military coup. DSS must do the needful. The Mauritanian must be charged for treason and sent back to his home country.

Thesame Datti was sacked by the courts for rigging his senatorial election in Kaduna......and the rigger is on TV calling for coup. Na Seun I blame sha wey allow Datti incite the country to anarchy.

PoliticsRe: For Those Asking What's So Special About FCT Abuja by IgOga(m):
Deprofessional:
For those asking what's so special about Abuja.

Abuja is special for 2 reasons:

1) It is the Federal Capital Territory, ie the seat of power

2) The president is it's governor.

Thus, the constitution is clear that you must have at least 25% of the votes in Abuja. This shows acceptance by the people you intend to govern.
grin grin grin

You are misquoting section 299 of the consititution

The provisions of this Constitution shall apply to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja as if it were one of the States of the Federation; and accordingly -

(a) all the legislative powers, the executive powers and the judicial powers vested in the House of Assembly, the Governor of a State and in the courts of a State shall, respectively, vest in the National Assembly, the President of the Federation and in the courts which by virtue of the foregoing provisions are courts established for the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja;

(b) all the powers referred to in paragraph (a) of this section shall be exercised in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution; and

(c) the provisions of this Constitution pertaining to the matters aforesaid shall be read with such modifications and adaptations as may be reasonably necessary to bring them into conformity with the provisions of this section.

Section 299 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
More: https://jurist.ng/constitution/sec-299

Labour Party argues the President is the governor of the FCT and should have 25% of the votes cast. However the National assembly members are the legislators of the FCT and nearly all of them have 0% vote in the FCT. So it doesn't apply using that logic.

What is improtant is that section 299 clearly states the constitution considers the FCT as if it was one of the states in Nigeria. Therefore when read with section 134

(1) A candidate for an election to the office of President shall be deemed to have be been duly elected, where, there being only two candidates for the election -

(a) he has the majority of votes cast at the election; and

(b) he has not less than one-quarter of the votes cast at the election in each of at least two-thirds of all the States in the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

(2) A candidate for an election to the office of President shall be deemed to have been duly elected where, there being more than two candidates for the election-

(a) he has the highest number of votes cast at the election;

and

(b) he has not less than one-quarter of the votes cast at the election each of at least two-thirds of all the States in the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
More: https://jurist.ng/constitution/sec-134

You may likely argue that intent of the law is to state that in considering the spread of 25% of vote Abuja should be considered. Not as a special place but as if it were one of the states of the federation as stated in section 299 of the constitution.

Why then state Abuja separately in section 134? That's because Abuja is not a state but must be considered as a state. Infact Obi is said to have won 12 states even though Abuja is not a State. That is only true because section 299 considers Abuja as if it were a state
