Obi will be fine. I think the heat he's receiving is for how his supporters are calling Tinubu ex-convict even though he was never convicted. APC supporters have decided to make a big deal out of his detention Being stopped at the airport is normal. But if your stop takes up to an hour...something is up |

Politics › Re: United States Vs Bola Tinubu Was Established In US Court, Yet Tinubu Denying by IgOga(m): 11:56am On Apr 13, 2023 |
BERNIMOORE: Tinubu is a defendant in the drug case A defendant is a certified party to a proven case especially when he forfeit a designated amount pronounced in a judgement.. That solidify the fact that he is a bonafide party to the Case
What did Tinubu paid for if he is not a party?
Festus keyamo thinks that the appeal court tribunals judges will allow him to do Abracadabra by tossing them around flip flopping and dangling law technicalities to waste the plaintiff's time...
Obviously the Tinubu team wants to use delay tactics to delay the case using technicalities and Nigerians are watching if those delay tactics will be granted..
Below is a certified documents
USA court of Illinois Northern District
VS Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
How do we define someone who is a party again? Yes trial in rem. It's a civil forfeiture. The property is what is on trail not the owner. Familiarize yourself with the law before spewing nonsense |

They can charge "your" property and not you.
So the name of the property will replace the "your" in this stupid analogy of yours right?

Una nor sabi anything about US law civil forfeiture
Civil forfeiture allows the government (typically the police) to seize — and then keep or sell — any property that is allegedly involved in a crime or illegal activity. Owners need not ever be arrested or convicted of a crime for their cash, cars, or even real estate to be taken away permanently by the government. The government does not have to charge the property owner with any specific crime in order to seize the property, and must prove only by a preponderance of the evidence that the property is legally forfeitable. After property has been seized, the burden of proof shifts to the owner, who must prove that the property was not involved in nor obtained as a result of illegal activity. While the government views civil forfeiture as a powerful tool against the drug trade, organized crime, and political corruption, it is often criticized as an unconstitutional exercise of government power, in violation of the Fourth, Fifth, and Eighth Amendments, and as against a fundamental element of due process.
Such a proceeding is conducted in rem, or against the property itself, rather than in personam, or against the owner of the property. For this reason, civil forfeiture case names often appear strange, such as United States v. Eight Rhodesian Stone Statues because the property is the defendant.
Civil forfeiture is codified in 18 U.S.C. §§ 981, 983, 984, and 985, as well as in 21 U.S.C. § 881.
Proponents argue that it is effective in thwarting criminal organizations by efficiently and directly harming suspected criminals economically while helping law enforcement financially. Critics argue that innocent owners can become entangled in the process where they are presumed guilty instead of being presumed innocent. Critics argue that the incentives lead to corruption and law enforcement misbehavior and abuse. US law is quite interesting though 1. First Tinubu’s case was brought by IRS (Tax man) not DEA (drug busters ) 2. In court documents, Tinubu was addressed as "claimant" not criminal or looser etc What does it all mean? It means Tinubu can forfeit assets without being a criminal. It's difficult for alot of mumudients to understand but what can I do

BrotherSade: 😎
Dead on arrival.
Tinubu in conjunction with Mahmood Yakubu should return the stolen Mandate for peace to reign in Nigeria.
After all, Tinubu is not a Nigerian and cannot rule Nigeria by proxy. He can go and rule Kenya 😎 Where is the evidence of the stolen mandate E come be like say na Obi steal presidential candidate from LP bona-fide members. I pity Obi sha.....the mob dey carry am go where e nor know.......the worst move is to blame inec......just blame APC if you have evidence. As it is now inec don give APC the full list of LP members submitted by Abure to inec in 2023 and Mr Obi's name was missing. To make matters worse Obi himself posted his resignation letter from PDP a week before LP presidential primaries. According to electoral act 2023 Obi should have been on the LP membership list 30 days before primaries......unfortunately for Obi he was still a PDP member 7 days before LP primaries. APM challenged Obi's eligibility but that petition was dismissed and APM fined for not providing any evidence. News on the street is that APC has submitted the LP membership list to the PET courtesy inec supplying evidence. All in all Mr Obi may be joining APC in 2024 |
