Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu didn’t win the senatorial election despite being referred.

Ojukwu ran in the days when Obasanjo and Maurice Iwu write the election results before vote counting starts. It is not the people who vote that matter but those who count the votes.

If election is free and fair there will be many surprises in 2023 but I doubt it will be free nor fair.

This is shocking and sad. I thought political assassinations were behind us in Nigeria but seems we are returning to Obasanjo days when political assassinations was the norm.

I am not sure NFIU has the power to seal state government account nor the power to determine what's a state government priority in terms of paying salaries or not. And to assume all state governments are out to manipulate elections with state government funds is baseless.

Those who want to rig elections or buy votes probably already have their money in dollars.

My biggest concern with 2023 elections is inec....if the bvas system can cope with elections in all 36 states and the FCT at once....that will be lovely. If BVAS fails it may turn out to be the worst election in Nigeria.....inec should also do drills on saboteurs activities
