- On your cpanel interface or through the phpadmin interface, you can get the server or host name.

@OP,
Are you using a share hosting? If yes, there is minimum chance that wordpress can be automatically updated from a share hostin account.
Because, the users are many and several users might also install wordpress in the same account.

So try to do manual update, before any update, back up your database and disable all plugins and theme, except the default ones.

I have done a simple mail before - something like squirrelmail - for 20k far back in ehm ehm 2005 or so. Integrated to a portal such that immediately you signup on the portal (social platform) - an email is created for you immediately. And u can check mail and send out mail on the site without additional login and all that.
