Ghanian President might decide to lead the task force then he would be required to hold daily press briefing, if not he only has to give orders through a broadcast like Buhari

It is so disheartening that the mainstream Nigeria Media could lie to up to 200 Million Nigerians.

When Muhammadu Buhari was Live to address Nigerians, give guidelines and updates on the ravaging Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nigeria but sorry to tell you that the Videos were not live it was a Pre-recorded Video.

Meanwhile Before the Broadcast began on the Nigeria Televison Network NTA, The commentator said the Broadcast was live before the National Anthem was played.

The President Made the Broadcast was made March 29th and April 13th 2020.

Channels Television was boldly showing that the Video was Live.

It was scheduled that the President of Nigeria will address Nigeria on a  Broadcast which is expected to be Live but Femi Adesina has come up to say that Video is not live.

Senator Godswill Akpabio spent N40 billion in two months by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and has been summoned by the Nigeria House of Representatives.

The lawmakers said the fund was allegedly spent without due regard to the Fiscal Responsibility Act.

Also to appear is the Interim Management Committee of NDDC to explain to the House, the plan of the commission to ameliorate the effect of the present economic situation on the region.

This was sequel to a unanimous adoption of a motion raised by Rep. Peter Akpatason (APC-Edo) at the plenary on Tuesday/



Moving the motion earlier, Apkatason said that the NDDC was established by Act No. 6 of 2000 as an interventionist agency with the clear mandate.

He said that the mandate among other things included, to undertake economic, environmental and infrastructural development toward improvement in the quality of life, economic transformation and prosperity in the Niger Delta region.

The lawmaker said that Section 7 1(b) of the NDDC Act, mandated the commission to conceive, plan and implement projects and programmes in accordance with set rules and regulations.

Akpatason said the rapid spread of the novel COVID-19 and the devastating impact on all aspects of livelihood and national economy had occasioned a sharp decline in revenue and massive cuts in budgetary estimates especially since the past month;

The Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has promised to give money to Whistle Blowers who report Lock Down Offenders.

The Governor speaking in a Press Conference In Port Harcourt said The Rivers State Government will give N100,000.00 to Whistle Blowers who give reasonable information to the appropriate authorities.

As viable measures to curtail the Spread of Coronavirus in Rivers State, The Governor Nyesom Wike has placed Port Harcourt And Obio Akpor LGA On Total Lock Down.

The Lock down will commence May 7th and will be on 24 Hours basis.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has announced a 24-hour total lockdown and a dusk-dawn curfew on Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor Local Government Areas as part of the State Government’s measures to check the spread of coronavirus.

In a broadcast on Monday, Governor Wike said: “Consequently, we have decided on the extreme measure of placing the entire Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt City Local Government Areas under a 24 hours total lockdown from Thursday 7th May 2020 until further notice.

Governor Wike said with the declaration, all residents of Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt City Local Government Areas must stay at home.

As measure to curtail the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19 in Rivers State, The Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike has closed down markets in the State.

The Governor placed a total closure on Slaughter Market in the Popular Industrial Trans Amadi.

In a statement by the Commissioner of Information Paulinus Nsirim it reads: The Rivers State Government has closed down Slaughter Market, Trans/Amadi completely. Government will deal decisively with anybody who dares to flout this directive.

Emir of Rano, Tafida Abubakar Illa is dead.

The Rano Emirate is one of the newly created four emirates by governor Abdullahi Ganduje.

The secretary, Rano Emirate council, Sank Haruna, said  that he received the news about the emir’s death few minutes to 5 p.m.

Confirming his death Member representing Rano, Kibiya and Bunkur in the House of Representatives and the Turakin Rano of Kano, Alhaji Kabir Alhassan Rururm confirmed his death to AUTHENTIC NEWS GIANT

The reps member confirmed that the late Emir was admitted at the hospital on Friday but died after a brief illness.

The United States Of America Food and Drug Administration has approved Remdesivir for the treatment of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

 FDA issued Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the investigational antiviral drug remdesivir.

The Emergency Use Authorization allows for remdesivir to be distributed in the U.S. and administered by health care providers, as appropriate, to treat suspected or laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 in adults and children hospitalized with severe disease. Severe disease is defined as patients with low blood oxygen levels or needing oxygen therapy or more intensive breathing support such as a mechanical ventilator.

The approval is the latest step in a global push to find viable treatments and a vaccine for the coronavirus, which has left half of humanity under some form of lockdown, hammered the world economy, and infected more than 3.3 million people.

Remdesivir, an antiviral drug initially developed to treat Ebola, was given the green light on Friday after a major trial found that it boosted recovery in serious COVID-19 patients.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC has given analysis of Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Nigeria where Kano State is blowing to 311 as 92 Cases were reported lately.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC, Kano State is seconding with 311, followed by Abuja the Federal Capital territory with 214 fully headed by Lagos the epicenter of the Virus in Nigeria with a total of 1,006.

With a total of 15,759 samples collected Nigeria has a total of 2,170 cases of Coronavirus, 68 Deaths and about 351  discharged cases.

The Federal Government Of Nigeria through the Minister of Health is begging Nigerians to donate their house to be used as isolation centres to curb the Coronavirus (COVID-19) menace.

Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire made the appeal at a press briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 in Abuja, adding that more testing by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control in the next three months would require more buildings as isolation centers.

The minister sad, “I have appealed to citizens to make their property available temporarily for this purpose. I am sure that after that, many property owners will come up and donate to state governments for a period to be used...n.”

The Rivers State Government Honorably headed by Nyesom Wike has given reasons as to why the State rejected the Federal Government Palliatives.

Nyesom Wike rejected a trailer-load sent to the state as palliatives from the Federal Government because the rice was not good for human consumption.

This is as he confirmed that six more persons have tested positive to coronavirus in the state, bringing to 13, the total number of cases recorded in the state.

The governor said the state government will challenge the decision of the Federal Government to remove N11Billion from the Federation Account for the funding of the Nigeria Police without the consent of the state government.

Wike, who addressed a televised press conference in Port Harcourt on Friday, said it was a show of insult for the Federal Government to tell the state government to go to Cross River State to get its own share of the palliatives.

He said: “You don’t have to loss your dignity because you are a poor. Come to think of it, we are not the only state that rejected the Federal Government palliatives.

“Oyo State rejected it, Akwa Ibom State rejected it. They are not edible. They even told us to go to Cross River State to carry a trailer-load of rice. I said no, I cannot go to.......
