The Ogun Police has issued Stern warning to the President of the Living Faith Church AKA Winnerd Chapel David Oyedepo over his decision lately to reopen his church.

The Winners Chapel Pastor Bishop Oyedepo has said that Anyone against opening of churches will die in a Live Video.

With the Headquaters of the Living Faith Church being in Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government area of Ogun State.

In a disguised reference to Oyedepo, the Ogun police said they have information that some religious leaders in Ogun are preparing to open their religious centres for people to converge.

This, the police said was in total disobedience to both the state and federal government directives.

A statement by the state Police Spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said appealed to such religious leaders to have a change of heart, saying “security agencies in the state will view the opening of worship centres with all seriousness.”

Oyeyemi said the police would not tolerate any act capable of undermining the determination of the state and federal government to fight Coronavirus to a standstill, stressing that “the ban on all forms of gathering be it social or religious is still in force.”

A dead body of a COVID-19 victim otherwise called Coronavirus was discovered while being moved to Akwa-Ibom State From Lagos State in Nigeria.

The Akwa Ibom State government has disclosed that its task force has intercepted a corpse of a COVID-19 victim being smuggled into the State from Lagos State.

The Commissioner of Health in the State, Dr. Dominic Ukpong, made the revelation, adding that the corpse has been buried in accordance with the COVID-19 regulations.

Ukpong spoke at a meeting of the State Incidence Management Committee held at the Ibom Specialist Hospital, Uyo yesterday.

According to the Commissioner, the 6 persons who transported the corpse into the State have been kept in 14 days isolation as they await the outcome of their test for COVID-19.

Dr. Ukpong lauded the security agents in the state for efficiency in the discharge of their duties, especially in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

He maintained that the deceased was transported in an ambulance from Lagos State on the night of Wednesday 6th May, 2020 and arrived Akwa Ibom State borders at the early hours of the next day....

Oyedepo who had earlier criticized the reopening of markets and closure of churches said the power of darkness were against the reopening of churches.

Speaking during a live broadcast on Thursday, the cleric maintained that hunger is far more devastating than any virus that will ever visit the earth.

According to him, spiritual famine is far more devastating and there is no vaccine for hunger and no medical solution to hunger.

”The doors to churches across nations are again declared opened this morning. Can I tell you this? Hunger is far more devastating than any virus that will ever visit the earth.

Nyesom Wike has placed a Total Lock Down in Rivers State to curtail and check mate the Spread of Coronavirus in Rivers State.
In a monitor exercise the Governor discovered that the Rivers State Police Command DCP, ADAMU ABUBAKAR moved to sabotage the lockdown by issuing illegal letters to companies.


The Governor commended Rivers People for above 95 Percent complying with the lock down declared by the State Government to check the spread of coronavirus.

It was also revealed that At the Elekahia Isolation Centre, over 200 persons have been arrested and over 20 vehicles impounded by different teams enforcing the lockdown. They are to face the full weight of the law.

He said: "I want to commend Rivers people for the level of support they have shown. The level of compliance is quite satisfactory. It is more than 95 percent within the two Local Government Areas ."
